Busy Bees Oldbrook

My daughter really enjoys nursery, has definitely learnt and grown as a individual since being here. She is always happy to see her main room teachers, and now knows them by name. Her diet has definitely improved since being here and trying new foods.

The staff members have been exceptional. Over the past six months, our child’s progress has been remarkable. The caregivers consistently provide updates and are genuinely kind. Although we were initially anxious, our child adjusted within a week. The staff’s personal connection with our child has been invaluable.

Staff are kind, caring, easy to talk to and the children enjoy going to nursery. We have felt really supported are staff are knowledgeable about medical and allergy issues, they have been fantastic with both of my children. The on-site chef is so helpful as you know everything is fresh. Communication is good, my children have been challenged and grown in so many ways. Would highly recommend. I also really like that every age group have their own outdoor space.

I felt that whenever I left my child here they were safe and well looked after. I would get a verbal itinerary of their day/food/nappies which was very helpful. However, rarely received photos/developmental milestones completed. Whilst the room staff worked above and beyond I think the admin side was lacking. If I asked a question; such as changing days it went months without an answer, to the point where I ended up taking my child out to attend a different nursery with better communication. The price has also increased so it is now one of the more expensive nurseries in Milton Keynes and I think that due to the lack of photos, communication, and developmental updates, it isn’t entirely worth it.

We have 2 children who attend Busy Bees Oldbrook and they absolutely love it. Our eldest has moved from baby room to preschool and has thrived the entire journey. The staff are amazing, the facilities are great and there is very little to fault. We have visited many others and could not find a better place for them to be. My only gripe is the fact we pay for bank holidays even though the centre is closed, both myself and partner can work on bank holidays so we are forced to either pay 2 lots of childcare (enhanced) or turn down work. If not for this I would give the nursery 5 stars.

I feel my child is safe, well looked after and cared about whilst he is there!

Always happy to go to nursery in the morning and always happy to leave when I pick her up. Watching her grow there is the best thing. Thank you to all the amazing staff, you’re doing great!

Busy Bees Oldbrook have been fantastic in developing, caring for and nurturing my daughter and getting her ready for school. From two members of staff in particular in Babies through to another particular member of staff in Preschool, my daughter has loved each room. All the food is from accredited menus and is freshly prepared in-house. I would recommend booking a show round if you are looking for a new nursery.

Busy Bees Oldbrook has been a great help in the development of our two daughters. Our youngest is in preschool; she loves all the activities they provide each day. The staff are super friendly and are always focused on the welfare of the children and provide a range of topics to learn and interact with.

My son went to Busy Bees in Oldbrook, Milton Keynes. He enjoyed going to the nursery from day 1. The staff are really thorough and professional. They took care of him, engaged him in various activities, and corrected him where necessary. I would strongly recommend this nursery.

Whilst all staff at Busy Bees Oldbrook are brilliant, a big shout out to three ladies in the baby room. Thank you for everything you guys do for our son. Rain or shine, you guys are always there for him.

Our journey at Busy Bees has been extremely pleasant. Our daughter is a lockdown baby and did not have much opportunity to meet people and socialize and as expected she was extremely agitated to be left with the team at Busy Bees. However, the team showed patience and dedication to help her settle. As parents, we felt reassured every day as we saw her thrive day by day and she is now so happy and blending in very nicely. The team also understands our concerns as parents and at every single opportunity, they went the extra mile to show and reassure us of our daughter's progress. Our daughter has also developed her communication skills since joining Busy Bees which was a concern of ours. Thank you Busy Bees team, you are all genuinely incredible, keep up the good work.

My daughter attends this nursery, and she absolutely loves it there. All the staff are really friendly and I feel confident and content in leaving her there. I get updates from her day and what’s she’s eaten and how she’s been.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees from the age of 10 months. I have always felt happy and comfortable leaving my little girl there. I am routinely kept informed about the different activities she undertakes and key members of staff demonstrate real attention to detail when relaying information about her day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been going here since he was 12months old, and he LOVES it, so do we as parents. Staff are amazingly friendly and informative, from day 1 I have felt completely confident leaving my son here. I always get informed on his daily activities and what he's eaten. Just recently they have very successfully helped me with potty training my little boy and I'm over the moon. Never had a doubt that I made the right decision on my sons start at his education and so social skills learning.

My son has been attending the nursery since January 2019, starting in the baby room when he was 8 months old. He is always happy and excited about going to nursery, he has built up great friendships with both the children and staff and is always talking about them at home and excited to see them the following day. I love that the setting has ParentZone. When I returned back to work it was great seeing photos of him playing and how much he had eaten, slept and even his nappies throughout the day. Regarding his development and the teaching and learning that is carried out throughout the setting I am more than happy with, I really enjoy reading the little observations and the development summaries written by his key person. One of the main reasons we chose this nursery for my son was not only the amazing rooms, gardens and resources available for the children, but the friendly, welcoming and amazing staff!!
