My grandsons are aged 2 and 4 and attend Acorn nursery. One of my grandsons begins school in September 2022. I came to his graduation with his mum a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted you to know what a wonderful time I had. The atmosphere and overall fun, ceremony, and the children’s obvious enjoyment was amazing. I also want your staff to know that one of my grandsons talks a lot about them, how he loves going and loves his teachers. In all the time he has attended he has never voiced his dislike. Really looks forward to his time spent with you. Constantly telling me that he prefers nursery. My other grandson isn't as verbal but I am sure he will voice his opinions soon. I know also that the boys will miss each other. Thank you so much for everything you do for them. Kind regards.
Our child has thrived while attending Acorn, the staff really encourage him to learn and develop his skills. He enjoys going in every day and always has a brilliant time. I feel really comfortable leaving him with such a capable team, they update everything he’s doing throughout the day on the app which leaves me feeling confident that he’s doing well.
My boy loves nursery, he loves all the ladies there and always has a big smile on his face at drop-off and pick up. He always comes home with a full belly and loves the food. I love all the pictures and videos I get as I can see he is always enjoying himself.
Thank you so much for your reply, your time in doing so is very much appreciated.
Our son loves going to nursery and has made so many friends with peers and staff.
Thank you for such a lovely review, we really appreciate it.
My daughter has been attending nursery since January 2021. She enjoys going on little walks around the village or to the park. It’s great to see her taking part in a good range of activities. The staff support her individual needs and her key person in her current room and in the baby room have been great.
Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate your time in completing this.
I would highly recommend Acorn Nursery at Castlethorpe. The staff are brilliant. The key workers there treat your child like their own. The app keeps you updated throughout the day and you can see how your child is progressing. It is a nursery that truly cares about the welfare and development of children.
Many thanks for your kind words and positive review.
Acorn Day Nursery Castlethorpe and its staff are absolutely incredible. My son went from age 1 to 4 and now my daughter is there and we can't fault it. I cannot sing the praises of all staff enough - they are incredibly caring, adapt to each child's needs and create a fantastic environment that both of my children have thrived in. It can be hard for parents to 'hand' their child over to a care provider, but the staff at Acorn make it very simple and build trust very quickly. My daughter gets so excited on the walk to nursery and can't wait to run in and have a cuddle from the practitioners. The garden has recently been improved and that's made a positive difference plus the food options are excellent. We highly recommend Acorn at Castlethorpe to any prospective parents.
Thank you so much for your positive review, we really appreciate it.
The staff at Castlethorpe have been absolutely brilliant with my little one. Being a baby born during the pandemic he struggled to settle initially but has come on leaps and bounds since then. The staff were so supportive and gave lots of reassurance which has helped enormously. The range and quality of food is excellent (which is great for his current fussy eating phase). The activities are wonderful and he spends lots of time outdoors, which was a key deciding factor in choosing the nursery. From a developmental point of view, his language, social skills, and coordination have all noticeably improved in the time that he has been there. The administrative staff are great - very efficient and personable. A change in sessions was accommodated swiftly and without issue. Overall, we are very pleased with the care our son is receiving and recommend the nursery highly to anyone considering sending their child here!
My husband and I are so happy that we have sent our child to Castlethorpe. The staff are fantastic. Three members of staff, in particular, are so responsive and always know what is happening. They genuinely care and take pride in their work. The food is always so varied and healthy - I wish I could have the meals each day! Thank you for such an excellent service.
My son loves going to Acorn Castlethorpe! He has a big smile on his face when he's greeted by the staff in the morning. He is always given nutritious, well-balanced meals. I like using the app to see what/how much he's eaten, when/how long he napped for, and seeing photos of the activities he's enjoyed doing. The staff are great at spotting when he's unwell and keep me updated. I am always confident leaving him in their care.
The team at Acorn are brilliant. They have created a warm and caring atmosphere which meant my daughter settled in very quickly. She loves going to nursery and always has a lot of fun with all the activities they offer. The menu always looks delicious and is so varied. Management is very flexible when it comes to needing additional days etc.
Thank you so much for your kind review. All the staff really appreciate your positive feedback. Your child is a joy to have in our nursery.
The activities they do with the children are fantastic, and it’s clear they have the children’s best interests at heart.
The communication is great, and I look forward to seeing what she has done every day via the app.
An outstanding nursery where the children's needs are held at the highest of importance. The staff at Castlethorpe are absolutely amazing and cannot be faulted. The level of care is incredible, it's like a home from home. My daughter is always so well stimulated here and there is always so much thought that goes into all the activities. They really do make learning so much fun and I'm extremely pleased with how well my daughter is doing. She feels happy, safe and comfortable and always enjoys a huge range of activities. We have a wonderful relationship with all the staff and I'm always so impressed with the updates, photos and observations and every time I pick my daughter, up the handover is just fantastic. I really like that time is made for me when I collect my daughter and I hear all about how well her day has gone. As I was so impressed with the nursery, I recommended it to a friend and now her daughter goes here and I will be looking forward to my son starting here in September.
We have been extremely happy with the setting so far. Staff members have been very welcoming to us as parents and to our child. My child's peer group welcome her as she arrives each day which lights up my child's face and is so wonderful to watch. Resources and learning opportunities seem great. We love the app for regular updates and means of contacting the setting too. Thank you team Acorn at Castlethorpe!
So happy.
Our daughter has attended Acorn nursery for just over two years. The staff are friendly, encouraging and supportive, ensuring the children in their care thrive. They feel like part of the family. We get regular updates on our little one each day and there is always something fun and engaging happening for the children. The team are supportive of parents too, providing advice and guidance where requested and working with parents to help them overcome challenges.
My little boy has been at Acorn for over a year and absolutely loves his days at nursery. It is a lovely environment with friendly and caring staff so much so we booked in our newborn before she arrived!
We have taken our son here for a couple of years now, and he loves it. They do a number of activities and little trips to see the animals round the corner or to pick apples from trees in the village gardens and every week seems to be different.
This nursery has been extremely welcoming and caring to my son! He has settled really well and they never fail to give him the extra attention he craves at times. The staff have built fantastic relationships and communication with parents is also fantastic.
Both of my boys have developed so much since starting there in all aspects of learning and social skills. The outdoor areas at the nursery are superb and the children have so much fun exploring and going on walks around the village spotting the different animals that live locally.
I would, without doubt, recommend this Nursery.
