Starting a new nursery at the end of Lockdown is daunting for parents and children, but the nursery has made myself and my daughter feel so safe and welcome. The staff are so kind and attentive - nothing is too much trouble. The manager and staff are absolutely brilliant and deal with all my questions with confidence. They are true experts, and my daughter has really settled in well. Thank you so much.
My daughter started at The Old Station Nursery Iver nine months ago, just before turning one and I have been happy from the start. The staff are so friendly and really got to know my daughter, what she likes and what she doesn't like. The days are well organised with lots of fun learning activities and outside play. They even do baby yoga! The nursery plays a massive part in my daughter's leaning and development. The food is fresh and prepared on site by their own chef. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone!
I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. My twins have been going there for more than a year and in this period I have seen a huge difference in their confidence and learning. The staff is very kind and caring. Children seem to have a lot of fun as they are always happy to go to the nursery. The staff really looks after them and informs us of any accidents or bumps. A detailed handover is provided at the end of the day. The nursery has also introduced an app where they update parents about day to day activities on a regular basis. The children have been toilet trained in no time. The food served is also good as my son is a fan of the chef.
My daughter has been going to this nursery since April 2020, and I can honestly say she has the most amazing time every day she goes; she always comes home with something new to say or do. I also have had an amazing reception from the nursery staff, who is always caring and kind; they go out of their way to make sure that my daughter and the rest of the household are well and good.
She is now nearing school age, and I can see how well the nursery is preparing her, teaching her letters, basic maths, phonics etc. Which she is definitely enjoying and progressing well with.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery; my daughter loves going and has always been very happy here.
We decided to move our daughter to Premier Nursery Iver (now The Old Station Nursery) just about when she was 18 months old, after we discovered she was really keen on learning and may need a change from her current childminder. She is now 3 years and 2 months old and we are really impressed with how she has thrived and grown over her last 18+ months at the nursery. She has made such close friendships with her carers and has shown much growth in her speech, confidence, activities and overall intellect both emotionally and physically too. The nursery has been supportive of her at every stage and have monitored her development and overall well being. We are pleased we came here and are extremely glad her baby sister could join and settle in remarkably too. I will always recommend this nursery to any parent looking for peace of mind to where their babies need to go and start off. Thanks Old Station Nursery/Premier for all you do. Very much appreciated.
The staff are kind and caring. When our little boy was getting ready to potty train, we had a consultation and the staff read books, played games and changed nappies of dollies with our son to get him interested and make him aware of his bodily functions. The facilities keep our active little boy stimulated and learning. The biggest recommendation is how much our son loves going to nursery; he can’t get in through the door quickly enough in the mornings and when we pick him up he waves cheerfully and says, “See you tomorrow!”.
I moved my daughter here after being unhappy with her initial nursery and have never looked back. She settled straight in a credit to the staff for helping her to adjust to a new nursery. The nursery looked small on the initial visit which was why I initially opted for another nursery, but the smaller nature than some is such a bonus - the staff are excellent and friendly and it's like an extended family. Lots of outside playtime and activities such as yoga and cooking. Food is fresh on-site and a great mixture of dishes, puddings and snacks. Handled the recent COVID19 pandemic well with timely and clear communication and amendments made. Great value for money and clear billing system each month for hours, and always happy to add additional hours when needed! Cannot recommend enough, we are only leaving due to moving house and a 40-minute trip isn't feasible!
My daughter has attended since she was 9 months and has always received very good care. The staff are genuinely interested in helping each child achieve their potential and the nursery and manager have been flexible when we've needed it.
I am thrilled with his progress at Premier and his social skills developed well from a young age. The nursery manager is fantastic and ensures the best care is given to my son, he has a cows milk allergy and all the staff have been very supportive and accommodating to his dietary needs.
I particularly enjoy the parents' meetings to understand where my child is at in his learning and development.
My son sometimes cries the name of girls when we are at home and he’s distressed and looking for comfort, which in my eyes is testament to their outstanding care, training and management.
The manager and staff are really friendly and caring and have been brilliant in recognising where he has been behind or ahead of his peer group and supporting his individual development, and it's been wonderful watching him grow in confidence. He really enjoys the food, which is all freshly cooked on-site, and there is always a good variety of meals across the week with a veggie option for him.
At every pickup, we get a detailed handover on all the different activities they have done, what he has enjoyed doing as well as the things he was less into so we've always felt like we have a true picture of his day. We couldn't be happier with the nursery and would definitely recommend it.
