The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe

Our child loves going to The Old Station Nursery. The staff are fantastic and look after the children brilliantly. The manager has really improved the nursery over the last 12 months. The children participate in fun activities including trips to the park. The garden has been refurbished recently meaning the children have a great outdoor space. The small size of the nursery means the staff knows all of the children well and they really care for them.

Really happy with the nursery, the staff are amazing, One member of staff, in particular, is fantastic. Our son loves going in and clearly has a great time while he is attending. I've been impressed at the range of activities the children are able to get involved in and also think the newly refurbished outdoor area is brilliant!

Very good care with a lot of indoor and outdoor activities, good friendly environment for children. Staff very supportive and communicative.

My son has a wonderful time a the nursery. He has great bonds with the staff who are fabulous. He has made lots of friends and looks forward to going to nursery each day.

We've had a fantastic experience at The Old Station Nursery. It's a nurturing environment where the staff genuinely care about the well-being and development of children. One of the highlights is the renovated outdoor playground - it's clear that thoughtful planning went into its design to encourage physical activity and imaginative play. Choosing The Old Station Nursery for our son has been one of the best decisions we've made. It’s a place where he is nurtured, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Our daughter's needs are always tried to be met by the nursery. We have a great dialogue to help with her progress. Thanks to all of the team as she transitions to the over 2's room.

The team at 6 Days The Old Station Nursery based in Hazelmere are simply wonderful. My 18-month-old son has really started to come out of his shell and the development has started to grow. I am given regular updates from the team via the app and it is lovely to see him enjoying himself. The team are always friendly and informative about my child's day when collecting, and always always asks on drop off how he is. Thank you for looking after him so well! I would recommend the team to other mothers.

Since starting at the nursery last August, my son has come on so much, from his speech to learning new skills and his development has clearly improved. Even more importantly, he settled in so quickly and built relationships with staff members, making him comfortable and happy while there. The staff keep me updated regularly on food and sleep etc. and often include photo updates on activities which I love to receive. The nursery itself is clean and tidy and the garden refurb looks amazing. I can't find any fault at all and I am really happy sending my son into such a lovely place.

Very pleased with the help I have received for my son's condition. Always very helpful and always made to feel welcome which helps me feel he is well looked after. My son is also very fond of his key worker and is excited to see her always.

My little girl recently started at The Old Station Nursery and I have been thoroughly impressed from the very first visit. Every single member of staff is hugely engaged with their role and the children they look after. My daughter took some time to settle but the staff have been hugely supportive and welcoming. I also love that they provide and publish a balanced and nutritious menu which has not been the experience of some of my friends with children at other nurseries so I am very pleased and assured by my choice.

The nursery staff are really caring and all have a lovely bond with my daughter. She really enjoys coming into nursery and learning and playing with the other children. There’s has been lots of recent improvements which have benefited the nursery. The staff are keen to engage with families about the children’s interests.

overall my child is really happy with the nursery and often talks about the staff at home.

The nursery has been under the management of a temporary manager who has made some excellent changes over the past 6 months. Our child goes to nursery very happily and has improved his communication skills since moving up to the over two's room. They access fresh air daily and are about to redo the external space, and are starting to do more out-and-about trips. The staff are all very caring and know him very well.

We hope to continue to see positive changes to the nursery as he continues there.

My little girl started here this year and loves it, and she's 2 years old has made lots of friends and her sentences have come along so well. The nursery always lets me know how she’s getting on at the end of the day. She only goes 3 days a week but on her days off is always excited to go back. I found it very hard to find a nursery that would keep her clean, change her often and make sure she doesn’t get sore. The nursery always makes sure she’s dry and without fail, she will always come home happy and tired. The staff are wonderful and actually spend time with each child to help them individually and as a group. Her meal time has become so much better, she no longer eats in a high chair which is due to sitting with her friends at a table at nursery, she no longer throws food and enjoys sitting at the table with us. Also being a young parent the nursery helped us along the way as well. Overall the Old Station Nursery I can't recommend enough, definitely a lovely place for children to be themself.

Additionally, my child was sick very frequently at this nursery, which is not the case in his new setting.

Our 8 month old son has just started at the nursery, and we are thrilled to bits with how much he is enjoying it and his development even in such a short space of time.

But above all else, we cannot speak highly enough of every single nursery worker. They are all truly wonderful, caring people, and really helped our son settle in despite a lot of tears during the first few days. On top of that, they kept us parents in the loop with regular phone calls and updates during the first few weeks to really put us at ease too. Only a few weeks in and our little man now gets very excited to see his new friends each morning.

So for us this is not just a chance to leave a positive review for a special group of people, but as much an opportunity to say thank you to them all for being so wonderful with our son and keeping him smiling and giggling all day.

My little one has been attending this nursery since she was one. She's happy with all the activities and has learned a lot. We can see the nursery is getting a good lift after joining a bigger group which is a plus. Staff are all very friendly and great. Overall very happy with them.

It is a safe and clean nursery. My child is happy there but not enough challenge of learning. It would be better if they can prepare my child for Reception during pre-school time earlier. I have noticed he has done more regular curriculum learning not till summer term.

Overall good. My younger daughter is happy to go to the nursery and enjoys staying there. She is having good time. She is more expressive; telling stories, greeting and having a good time with parents after having had 1-2 weeks of sessions there. Happy to recommend. Worth attending.

Brilliant nursery. Staff do good handovers at the end of the day. My child is very happy going there and has learned a great deal since attending nursery. My son tells me all about what they have been doing and loves to come home singing me songs he's learnt from nursery.
