A newly refurbished nursery, The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe, has been carefully designed to support children's development in a natural and engaging learning space. The modern and engaging rooms provide an inclusive space where children are free to play, learn and explore.

With space for up to 30 children per day, the smaller size makes the nursery unique, allowing them to offer a welcoming space where the team are able to get to know each child in their care. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

Recognising the importance of outdoor play, The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe ensures children have plenty of chance to explore the world around them and a brand new garden space is soon to be added to the nursery.

The Old Station Nursery High Wycombe is ideally located on the grounds of Manor Farm School so that when the time comes, the transition to ‘big school’ is as smooth and seamless as possible. They work closely with parents to ensure that the children are exceptionally prepared for their next stage of learning.

The team at 6 Days The Old Station Nursery based in Hazelmere are simply wonderful. My 18-month-old son has really started to come out of his shell and the development has started to grow. I am given regular updates from the team via the app and it is lovely to see him enjoying himself. The team are
always friendly and informative about my child's day when collecting, and always always asks on drop off how he is. Thank you for looking after him so well! I would recommend the team to other mothers.

Since starting at the nursery last August, my son has come on so much, from his speech to learning new skills and his development has clearly improved. Even more importantly, he settled in so quickly and built relationships with staff members, making him comfortable and happy while there. The staff
keep me updated regularly on food and sleep etc. and often include photo updates on activities which I love to receive. The nursery itself is clean and tidy and the garden refurb looks amazing. I can't find any fault at all and I am really happy sending my son into such a lovely place.

Very pleased with the help I have received for my son's condition. Always very helpful and always made to feel welcome which helps me feel he is well looked after. My son is also very fond of his key worker and is excited to see her always.

My little girl recently started at The Old Station Nursery and I have been thoroughly impressed from the very first visit. Every single member of staff is hugely engaged with their role and the children they look after. My daughter took some time to settle but the staff have been hugely supportive and
welcoming. I also love that they provide and publish a balanced and nutritious menu which has not been the experience of some of my friends with children at other nurseries so I am very pleased and assured by my choice.

My child has been attending the nursery for 10 months. She has settled in really well with the support of the staff who have made her feel very welcome.
The communication side is really good from both parent and nursery. Parent engagement is supported via a question of the week, regular email updates
and an open-door approach. The app is also a great way for parents to see what their child has been doing and for parents to share notes and media from out-of-nursery activities. This is now being used regularly by the nursery.
The children visit places outside of the nursery setting such as local parks, shops and local area. This is a really beneficial addition to the child’s lea ring environment.
overall my child is really happy with the nursery and often talks about the staff at home.

The nursery has been under the management of a temporary manager who has made some excellent changes over the past 6 months. Our child goes to nursery very happily and has improved his communication skills since moving up to the over two's room. They access fresh air daily and are about to redo the
external space, and are starting to do more out-and-about trips. The staff are all very caring and know him very well.


We hope to continue to see positive changes to the nursery as he continues there.

My little girl started here this year and loves it, and she's 2 years old has made lots of friends and her sentences have come along so well. The nursery always lets me know how she’s getting on at the end of the day. She only goes 3 days a week but on her days off is always excited to go back. I found
it very hard to find a nursery that would keep her clean, change her often and make sure she doesn’t get sore. The nursery always makes sure she’s dry and without fail, she will always come home happy and tired. The staff are wonderful and actually spend time with each child to help them individually and as a group. Her meal time has become so much better, she no longer eats in a high chair which is due to sitting with her friends at a table at nursery, she no longer throws food and enjoys sitting at the table with us. Also being a young parent the nursery helped us along the way as well. Overall the Old Station Nursery I can't recommend enough, definitely a lovely place for children to be themself.

This nursery seemed to have an issue with staff retention, with staff turnover very high. Other nurseries I have experienced do not seem to have this same problem.
My child also seemed to not get enough stimulation or challenge in learning. I based this on my child's bad behaviour and my experience
when visiting, and also handovers. My child's new nursery does far more activities and my child is far more stimulated, and as a result, is much better behaved.
Additionally, my child was sick very frequently at this nursery, which is not the case in his new setting.

Our 8 month old son has just started at the nursery, and we are thrilled to bits with how much he is enjoying it and his development even in such a short space of time.


But above all else, we cannot speak highly enough of every single nursery worker. They are all truly wonderful, caring people,

and really helped our son settle in despite a lot of tears during the first few days. On top of that, they kept us parents in the loop with regular phone calls and updates during the first few weeks to really put us at ease too. Only a few weeks in and our little man now gets very excited to see his new friends each morning.


So for us this is not just a chance to leave a positive review for a special group of people, but as much an opportunity to say thank you to them all for being so wonderful with our son and keeping him smiling and giggling all day.

My little one has been attending this nursery since she was one. She's happy with all the activities and has learned a lot. We can see the nursery is getting a good lift after joining a bigger group which is a plus. Staff are all very friendly and great. Overall very happy with them.

It is a safe and clean nursery. My child is happy there but not enough challenge of learning. It would be better if they can prepare my child for Reception during pre-school time earlier. I have noticed he has done more regular curriculum learning not till summer term.

Overall good. My younger daughter is happy to go to the nursery and enjoys staying there. She is having good time. She is more expressive; telling stories, greeting and having a good time with parents after having had 1-2 weeks of sessions there. Happy to recommend. Worth attending.

Brilliant nursery. Staff do good handovers at the end of the day. My child is very happy going there and has learned a great deal since attending nursery. My son tells me all about what they have been doing and loves to come home singing me songs he's learnt from nursery.

My daughter moved here in September and is off to a flying start. She's been welcomed, made so many friends and really progressing. The staff are wonderful and friendly and helpful with all of my concerns (even down to concerns about sleeping). Knowledgeable, friendly and amazing team.

Overall, happy with the nursery. My son is happy to go and looks forward to going. The new decor was much needed and it looks like a much nicer environment.
