Childcare 4U Beaconsfield is a private day care nursery and pre-prep located in Beaconsfield New Town.

In 2017, the nursery completed a refurbishment of all areas; creating a warm, unique and stimulating learning experience for all children.

Their refurbished Pre-prep provides an environment rich in learning opportunities with specialist equipment in areas such as Science & Discovery, Speaking & Listening, Light & Dark Exploration, Problem Solving in Mathematics and many more.

Staff regularly take the children on outings in the local community and the nursery holds a Bekonscot Model village annual pass where the children also regularly visit.

The nursery offers children nutritionally-balanced, home-cooked meals, designed and reviewed by the Nursery chef and a Paediatric Dietician to meet the needs of each age range.

My son has attended Childcare4U since December 2021 and is currently in Pre-Prep. Since the appointment of the new manager in Summer 2023 things appear to have improved considerably and the atmosphere is positive. My son is genuinely happy to attend and has made lots of friends which has helped to develop
his social skills. I have confidence in the staff, many of whom have a lot of experience, and the team generally seems to work well together to provide a nurturing and educational environment. They greet the children with a smile every morning and provide parents with a handover at the end of the day. Communication at the nursery has improved with weekly email newsletters and regular, detailed progress/development reports (which provide useful insight into what my son is learning). My son enjoys his Spanish lessons, walks outside, and sports activities in the garden. It's also well-maintained and clean. I would encourage prospective parents to visit!

My son has been attending this nursery for a year. He is currently in pre-prep. We adore his teachers and the staff. He absolutely loves going to nursery. He has formed wonderful friendships and has truly thrived. Yes, the nursery has undergone some growing changes in the past year, and to be honest,
we did consider moving him under the old management, but I’m so glad we decided to stay. Since new management took over in fall 2023 we’ve noticed significant improvements in all areas including curriculum, staffing, and overall communication with parents.
Most importantly, the teachers and staff truly care about the children. They’ve created a fun, nurturing, and educational environment. We are truly happy our son is here, and I wanted to write a review reflective of the current environment.

Unfortunately, this nursery, which historically had a very strong reputation, massively went downhill in 2023, following a negative Ofsted report ("requires improvement"). We moved our 2 children from this nursery at the end of 2023, after we saw so many good staff members leave, several managers come
and go, 2 fees increases in 1 year (pretty unacceptable considering all the issues with the nursery) and very poor communication with parents about all of these issues. We were reluctant to disrupt our children by moving them, but we had given the new manager several opportunities to explain her improvement plans for the nursery and she never did (she didn't even turn up to a meeting we had arranged/taken time off work to attend) and so we felt we had no choice but to move.

I spent ages trying to find the right nursery for my daughter, where I walked in and just instantly had a great feeling!
Well, as soon as I walked into Childcare 4 U and met the manager I got that feeling! I have been sending my daughter for the past 2 months (she was 5.5 months old when she started
going) and she absolutely loves it! The manager, all the staff inc the chef are all amazing. I feel so comfortable dropping my daughter off in the morning, and she is so happy when I hand her over to them! The staff in the baby room feel like family, which is so special!

Historically I think Childcare 4U has been a very good nursery. Unfortunately, it seems like since it was taken over and consumed into a larger group of nurseries, standards have dropped substantially to the point now where several parents have handed in their notice not to mention a bunch of staff
leaving in the past few months.
Added to this is their recent 'Requires Improvement' Ofsted rating and something is not right here.
They also informed parents of an increase in fees from September '23 even though a fee increase was done as recently as January. Two increases in 9 months for a nursery that requires improvement is a farce.
Luckily we have since left the nursery as our child started school however the last 12 months at Chilcare 4 U, all external activities stopped, things like forest school, visits to the local model village centre. Parents raised their concerns numerous times however promises were made and nothing materialised. I am not sure management care.
I would not recommend sending your child here.

This nursery is going through a painful transition and at the same time as care is degrading, have raised fees three times in 18 months. Multiple managers leaving through the year and sizeable staff exits following the latest Ofsted report findings. The location is convenient for locals and the facilities
are fine but until this place gets some senior experience back and steadiness I’d avoid. We removed our daughter last month and can’t believe how much her toilet training, behavior and interest in learning have improved elsewhere in less than a month.

We couldn’t recommend Childcare 4 U Day Nursery highly enough. Both my children have loved their time there. My son was there for two years (now at school) and my daughter is now in the pre-school. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are so caring towards the children and seem to really love what
they are doing, they make the kids their first priority. The staff are also so wonderful with parents too, always on hand to answer any questions or provide any feedback or just reassurance. The staff have been wonderful with my daughter and toilet training - I can’t thank them enough for that.
The nursery has dealt with Covid so well and the staff continue to be amazing even in such challenging times. The extra activities such as forest school and walks are great. My daughter loves going into nursery every day and always says what a great day she has had.

My son has been at Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield Day Nursery for over a year now and I could not be happier we chose this nursery for him. He started during the pandemic and the team helped him settle in very quickly. The staff here are very passionate about their job and that shines through the children.
The communication from both the staff and the manager is excellent. I also love the nursery app with all the information about my son's day, development and photos.
Would definitely recommend this nursery!

The staff are really welcoming and professional. My daughter has really enjoyed her time at the nursery and she has grown so much in the last few months. She is always happy when I drop her off and the pictures we get from the team show us how happy she is.

Absolutely amazing nursery, it’s like one big family, all the members of staff treat my child like their own. My little boy has been attending nursery one day per week since January the 21st and my wife and I have seen so many developments! He’s started drinking out of a big boy cup, uses utensils by himself, his vocabulary has improved and my personal favourite is the animal noises he has picked up. He can
do a wolf, snake, tiger, dinosaur, dog, elephant, monkey and bird. The staff are great and clearly teaching him a lot and he seems to look forward to going. I love the updates of how his day is going via the app. In summary, I’d definitely recommend Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield.

We can’t say enough good things about Childcare4uBeaconsfiled. My little boy absolutely loves it there: great set-up, lovely garden, excellent food and every staff member is exceptional. The bond they form with the children is second to none. On pick-up, the level of detail on what they’ve done in the
day and also lovely little personal details about your child, just shows how well they know them and care about them. Just a wonderful place for little ones to spend time and be so well cared for.

My daughter has been at Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield since she was 7 months old. She is now 22 months old. The nursery really feels like a home from home for her. The staff are brilliant and the manager leads a very happy environment there. I always feel listened to, and that my daughter’s key worker
and other teachers are on a team with me in terms of her care and development.
I couldn’t recommend enough.

This was the first nursery we saw for our 12-month-old and we were instantly impressed. Great tour of the nursery from baby room to Pre Prep. This didn’t compare to other nurseries we saw, that are more local to our home. Confident that the nursery holds its ‘outstanding’ accreditation from Ofsted.
Our now 24-month-old absolutely loves nursery, thanks to the daily organised indoor activities, great outdoor play area and caring staff. The introduction of the Famly app makes it easier to contact nursery staff and ask questions, view our child's progress, together with getting an insight into the fun our child is having at the nursery on a regular basis. We have a 2-month-old who we hope will join the nursery at a similar age.

Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff and carers for taking such good care of our little boy. He moved into pre-prep recently and has been supported so much throughout his transition. He loves going to school each day, enjoys all the variety of activities and loves playing with all the kids.
He’s always happy and tired at the end of a full day.

Our son has been attending Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield since August 2020, he is in the Pre-School group. Our son enjoys his time at Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield. They provide a wide range of activities indoors and outside which introduces the children to a variety of things that they may not have experienced

Childcare 4 U Beaconsfield is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has thrived since being there and I am encouraged at how much she has developed and been cared for whilst attending. Staff are proactive, passionate and do fantastic learning and creative activities with the children, all of which you are
updated on regularly via an app by the staff. The manager is flexible, hands-on and personally knows every child that attends which drives a real sense of community for the children and parents that attend. Her staff constantly update on the nursery's progress, your child’s and what they have done on a daily basis with updates and photos. I am really thrilled I chose this nursery for my daughter and would recommend the nursery, manager and her staff to any other parent who is looking for a nursery for their child in the Beaconsfield area.

Both my sons go to this nursery and I couldn't speak more highly of it. The staff are determined to help make your children's settling in and transitions between rooms as stress-free as possible for your children and are really welcoming and honest with you! The food and snacks they provide are healthy
and nutritious which are made by the lovely chef there. The manager is super friendly and knows the children as well as the room practitioners! Would highly recommend.

I have viewed many nurseries over the past few months to try and find the right one for my son who is 20 months old and this nursery is just perfect. I knew straight away he would be in a happy, warm environment. It has that homely feel and is so clean! I have met a few members of staff so far and they
are all so lovely and welcoming. Already my little boy's eating and speech have progressed so much and he always comes home so happy which, to me, tells me he’s having lots of fun. There is an app that the nursery use to update parents of what their child is up to throughout the day with photos, what meals they have had, nap times and nappy changes etc. To be able to log on and see what he’s up to is fantastic. The manager has been my point of contact so far and she has provided a great professional service, nothing is ever too much which I really appreciate so thank you! Thank you also to all the staff for working so hard keeping our children safe during this pandemic.
