Hello, I’m Mel, the Nursery Manager at Nuffy Bear. I’ve worked in the Early Years sector for 25 years, and I genuinely love what I do. Watching children grow in confidence, develop their personalities, and reach new milestones is something I never tire of; it’s what makes my role so special.

I’ve been part of the Stoke Poges community for the past 8 years, and it truly feels like home. I’m proud to work alongside such a caring and dedicated team, and I really value the strong relationships we build with our families.

For me, it’s so important that our nursery feels like a home from home, somewhere children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn, and where parents feel reassured and supported. One of the things I enjoy most is getting to know each child and family as individuals and being part of their journey from those very first steps into nursery.

I am an Early Years Educator with 3 years’ experience, including 2 years at Nuffy Bear. I absolutely love supporting children as they grow and develop, and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing them reach their special milestones.

I enjoy creating fun, playful learning experiences and bringing out my inner child alongside the children. I have a nurturing and caring nature and always make sure every child feels safe, happy and valued in my care. I am the Third in Charge and have 6 years’ experience working in Early Years, including 2 years at Nuffy Bear. I have always loved being a big sister, which inspired me to work in childcare, and I enjoy supporting children as they grow and reach their milestones.

Building strong relationships is very important to me. I take the time to get to know each child as an individual, ensuring they feel loved, safe and supported. I believe the positive relationships we have as a team are reflected in the children, as they learn from the way we treat one another.

Hi, I’m Sumira, and I have worked in early years for 26 years, including 14 years at Nuffy Bear. I have a real passion for working with under 2s and love being part of those very special first moments in their development. Supporting babies as they learn new skills and reach their first milestones is something I truly enjoy.

I have a very nurturing, mothering approach and believe it is so important to give babies the care, attention and reassurance they need at such an important stage in their lives. I love teaching children new words and supporting their early communication, and I always work closely with parents to build strong, trusting relationships.

Being part of a supportive team means a lot to me. I value teamwork and believe in pulling together and caring for one another, which creates a positive environment that the children benefit from too. I am also passionate about celebrating different cultures and traditions, helping every child feel included, respected and understood. Hi, I’m Aqsa and I have worked in early years for 12 years, including 6 years at Nuffy Bear. I developed a passion for working with children after completing my work experience, and I have gone on to gain a Degree in Early Years.

I love working with babies and helping to set the foundations for their learning and development. Supporting them as they grow, explore and begin to understand the world around them is something I find incredibly rewarding. I really enjoy cooking and baking with the babies, as well as reading stories together, helping to build their language and confidence.

As a key person, I build strong, trusting bonds with the children in my care. I’m passionate about embracing each child’s individuality and making sure they feel included and valued. I also support the children in becoming more independent in a gentle and encouraging way.

Hi, I’m Tracey, and I’m the Deputy Manager. I have worked in early years for 30 years, including 28 years with Nuffield, and I feel incredibly passionate about supporting children as they grow and develop.

One of the things I love most about my role is seeing children thrive, become more independent, and take safe risks in their learning. It’s such a rewarding feeling, and I share in the excitement and pride with parents when children achieve important milestones. I am forest school trained, which allows me to support children in exploring and learning confidently in the outdoor environment.

I really enjoy storytelling, and the children love bringing me books for us to share together. Building those special connections with children of all ages is something I truly value.

I am passionate about being part of children’s first experiences and making a positive difference in their lives from the very beginning. I am especially dedicated to supporting every child, including those who may be quieter or less visible, and ensuring that all children have a voice—even those who are not yet verbal.

Children’s wellbeing and mental health are very important to me. I enjoy teaching simple mindfulness techniques and supporting children to regulate and name their emotions, helping them to feel calm, understood and secure.

Hi, I’m Nazish, and I have worked in early years for 14 years, all with Nuffy Bear. I am passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and love building trusting relationships with both children and families.

Coming from a large family and having lots of experience babysitting, I have always enjoyed being around children, which naturally led me into early years. I really value being part of a team that feels like a little family, where we work closely together and create a welcoming environment for both children and parents.

I love baking with the children- my team refer to me as Mary Berry! Encouraging them to be as independent as possible in a safe and supportive way. I also enjoy joining in with their play, especially games I used to love as a child, like “What’s the time Mr Wolf?” and tag. It’s so special to see their excitement and have fun together.
