I work on a rota and found that most of the nurseries in this area were not flexible at all, but Nuffield are extremely flexible. I've added sessions on in short notice and extended sessions too.
The nursery staff are professional, very friendly and approachable.
I also have every faith that if I'm worried about anything the staff will do everything possible to work with me to resolve any issues.
My daughter loves it!!

My daughter has been attending this nursery since Oct 2014 and has loved her time at this nursery. The staff are so lovely and so caring towards all the children. I have been in at different times unannounced to collect my child and have always been greeted by a friendly member of staff and have always seen the children happily engaging in activities. I am so glad I chose this nursery for my child and would recommend it to parents.
My daughter has been attending the nursery for almost a year now and she has a great time. Staff are caring and capable and I know she's well looked after. Her personal development is well considered. I would like to see a little more order and focus to the day but there is so much to stimulate and bring the children on that this is a minor concern.
All 3 of my children have attended Nuffy Bear Nursery over a period of 9 years.
The consistency and retention of staff is extremely high, my 1 year old is currently looked after by the same lovely lady as my 9 year old was when he was 1!
The leadership team and room leaders have also been at the nursery during this time, which gives me a sense of complete trust in the care given.
The facilities have changed and continually improved during this time and my children have had a very varied exposure to all sorts of learning and creativity. It is a fun environment and all settled very quickly.
Swimming is included from age 3 and the weekly lessons are a great benefit and life skill for children.
I would thoroughly recommend the nursery.

Meet the Team (1)
Hello, I’m Mel, the Nursery Manager at Nuffy Bear. I’ve worked in the Early Years sector for 25 years, and I genuinely love what I do. Watching children grow in confidence, develop their personalities, and reach new milestones is something I never tire of; it’s what makes my role so special.
I’ve been part of the Stoke Poges community for the past 8 years, and it truly feels like home. I’m proud to work alongside such a caring and dedicated team, and I really value the strong relationships we build with our families.
For me, it’s so important that our nursery feels like a home from home, somewhere children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn, and where parents feel reassured and supported. One of the things I enjoy most is getting to know each child and family as individuals and being part of their journey from those very first steps into nursery.
We also place great importance on celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion, ensuring every child and family feels respected, represented, and welcomed as part of our nursery community.
