Child First Aylesbury Nursery is a busy and vibrant nursery situated in the town centre, ideally located close to the bus and train stations.

The nursery cares for children from 3 months to 3 years, in a unique environment, with a large spacious nursery giving children the opportunity to explore inside and outside. At 3 years old, children transition to the sister pre-school at Rickfords Hill.

With lots of well trained and experienced staff, the range of resources and opportunities for learning are enormous; from painting and planting to running and building, resting and stories and being occupied inside and out – in weatherproof clothes.

The chef provides the freshly cooked food, made from locally sourced fresh ingredients and bread and biscuits are baked on-site.

The professional staff team are focused on providing the very best care and education for all of their children.

Amazing staff.
Excellent care
My twins love going to the nursery.
They do lots of activities and always experiment new things.
Staff is always flexible and accomodating around the twins' need.

I've been really happy with how the nursery has helped my son develop. In the very early days my son was struggling to settle and the nursery kept clear communication with me about how he was doing and he settled happily and now over a year on he is thriving. The food options are adventurous and healthy,
and my boy is regularly having second helpings of most meals so clearly it's tasty!
The staff are all lovely and have been very supportive of myself and my child.

After a very upsetting experience with a child minder, we are incredibly grateful to have found Child First Nursery. My son absolutely loves going to nursery ad is thriving with the help of such wonderful, kind and caring staff. They provided so much support and understanding during the first few weeks
of transitioning into the setting, to both me and my son, and I'm always greeted by updates on how he has been that day. Thank you Child First Nursery for helping my little one love his childcare setting.

My son has settled in really well, and the staff caring for him are wonderful. They are always getting my son engaged in activities that lead to development.
Every time we come to pick him up, we can see him playing, interacting with other children and most importantly, happy!!

I am happy with the nursery overall, we get general feedback about the child's day e.g what they ate, nappy changes and sleep. However, it would be beneficial to see more picture updates about their day. I did receive more when my son started but it seems to have decreased recently.
I know of other
nurseries that my friends children attend who receive pictures/ in-depth feedback everyday.
I am sure the nursery has learning activities through the day/ week but I haven't seen much of this (again this maybe because I haven't received images). This being said I have noticed a change in my son since starting in terms of physical development and overall understanding.
The staff are very friendly and know all the kids very well.
My daughter attended the nursery around 2 1/2 years ago and I would say it has made improvements since then.

A lovely nursery. All three of my children have attended and have all had a great experience. The team make an effort to get to know all the children and seem to genuinely care.
They have made it very easy for me to feel comfortable leaving my children for the day.

My son started this nursery last week so still fairly new but so far it's been amazing, the staff are lovely. My son is always excited to see them when going in. Only thing I could say that needs improvement, is updates on the app on what he has been doing in the day and what he has eaten other than

Good, clean nursery and my son does enjoy attending. Inside is a bit dark, with barely any windows compared to the preschool which is very light and spacious. They don't update the parenting app much so every time I collect him I have to ask them if he's eaten etc and how he's been!

We put our 1-year-old in this setting late last year and soon realised we had to move our child out asap. The state of cleanliness is appalling which is one of the primary requirements of any decent childcare environment. We regularly saw dried poo, sand and dirt on baby changing mats. They never checked
children for soiled nappies and would only change at set times. I always promptly complained to the staff and manager but no serious action was taken. My child developed an acute bacterial infection due to this and had to be on antibiotics for days. The management was quite rude at times and was not receptive to constructive feedback, not passing clear processes to staff. The staff was hardly seen engaged interactively with the children when we went to pick ours up in the evenings and were more concerned about updating the app than checking on the children's well-being. The time with Child First Nursery was a nightmare for my child and us, even just a few months were quite stressful to endure.

A massive thank you to Child First for the patience, kindness, and love our daughter has received in the last two years.
She has been coming to Child Fist since August 2021, and all the songs she learned, counting to ten, and saying the alphabet, are all because of the staff working there.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery here. She is excited to go in every day and doesn't want to leave! The staff are great and foster strong relationships with the children. It is clear to see how much they care and are genuinely interested. My daughter's speech and development have come on

Our son has been attending Child First Nursery since January 2023 and although the first two-three weeks were tough (I believe every parent can relate to this) the staff have always been very supportive and helped us and our son transition very easily through this.
The nursery itself has just been
renovated and it was lovely we could attend their summer fair so we can see the changes and interact with different members of the staff and other parents as well.
Updates on the app are a plus as well.
I would highly recommend Child First Nursery!
