Partou Haddenham Day Nursery & Pre-school

It's been fantastic. My daughter is having the best time here. She runs here in the morning and can never get here quick enough. She's made some lovely friends and learns new things every day. She is always talking about her teachers and always has nice things to say.

Haddenham Day Nursery has always felt like a safe place where we are happy for our daughter to attend. The staff are kind, approachable and keep our daughter engaged and clean. They keep us well informed by email of developments at the nursery. We have struggled to get additional days which proves the popularity of the nursery, however, this has caused problems for us and has led to us finding child care at an alternative nursery now.

We have only been using the nursery for a few months but have been very happy with the service provided and the effort that the staff have made to settle our daughter and keep her happy.

Our son loves attending Haddenham Day Nursery. He runs in each morning very excited. Every day he comes home with a new phrase or song that he didn't know before. His speech has come on so well since starting in the 2-3 year old room. The team are very caring and take a high interest in his development. We're so thrilled with the progress in our son's milestones and development. NB: Re food: would prefer to limit soup to once a week as rarely eaten and need to keep up weight.

We're generally very happy with the nursery. Our child has a great time there. The staff take good care of her and know her as an individual very well. The tapestry portal is a great tool for keeping us up to date with what our child does at nursery on a daily basis and also her overall development.

The key workers here in the baby room are just fantastic they look after my 14 month old so well & she just loves going to nursery. She shrieks with excitement when she sees the key workers. I also love the variety of activities they do with the children - so creative and so much effort is put into making it so much fun for the little ones. The best part though is the detailed tapestry updates. We love to see what she's been up to and the photos of her enjoying herself are so precious. Not just a happy baby at nursery... very happy parents as well with Haddenham Day Nursery.

I have been so impressed with Haddenham Day Nursery. The staff are so caring, my son's key worker has been such a star! It was tricky to settle him in and she has been so loving, I know he's very attached to her and feels so confident leaving him there with her. The activities the babies do in a day are amazing, always plenty of messy play. The nursery are putting my son's development first, providing updates regularly and tips for at home. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery and understand the waitlist!

Our daughter is nineteen months old and loves going to nursery, she gets very excited in the mornings. The staff are very welcoming and warm towards parents and children. Their daily comments on the app match what we see at home and give an insight into the activities and enjoyment during each day. They give ideas to support development in line with Development Matters and activities vary each day to support interests so our daughter seems to be learning quickly. Safeguarding is taken seriously, any injuries are communicated swiftly and mitigating procedures put in place immediately if needed. The food is varied, always healthy and balanced over the course of a day and a week. Overall, our daughter has a lot of fun, the staff all appear to genuinely enjoy their job and caring for her. We will be placing our next child at this nursery and would recommend it thoroughly to friends.

My 2 year old daughter is very happy at nursery. I always think how inviting the environment looks, there are lots of stimulating resources on offer inside and out. Recently they have supported us with potty training, which has been very successful. Communication with parents is good, although I'd love to see even more on Tapestry.

My son is in the pre-school group and has been attending this nursery since the first lockdown eased in Summer 2020. He quickly adjusted to his new surroundings with the help of the friendly staff and he now goes running in, often without a backward glance. He is very happy there indeed and talks about what he has been doing at nursery non-stop! They have been doing a great job of getting him counting and starting to know his letters, he is clearly learning a lot under their care. The children go outside a lot, in all weather. The nursery tends to avoid plastic toys which I am in favour of - real objects are used as toys wherever possible. A big practical thing in this nurseries favour is also their opening hours 8 am-6 pm. They are also open fifty weeks a year. As a working Mum and Dad, we need this to be able to fit around our work. Most alternative nurseries in the area have earlier pickups and/or are not open during school holidays.

My 3-year-old son has attended Haddenham Day Nursery for over 2 years now and really enjoys his time there. The staff have put a lot of effort into setting up a wide range of stimulating activities which are always changing, providing new learning experiences. I have found all of the staff to be very friendly and approachable and any little niggles we have had have been dealt with professionally and quickly. Like many nurseries, staff turn over is quite high, which is unfortunate as my son has had numerous changes of key worker and occasionally communication from management isn’t always great, however, I think this is more a reflection of the management structure of the wider nursery chain, rather than the staff at this particular nursery.

My children have been attending Haddenham day nursery since summer 2019. They are happy to go in every day without a second glance at drop off. The room staff always seem happy, approachable and easy to deal with. Where possible, the children get outdoor play every day and get the opportunity to explore outdoors safely and learn independence.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to Haddenham nursery every day. The baby room team are clearly making it a hugely enjoyable place for her. Her confidence grows daily as does her development. I’d happily recommend any family looking for a nursery.

Since my son joined Haddenham Day Nursery over a year ago, he has settled in well and looks forward to each session he attends at the nursery, and that is thanks to the lovely ladies that work there! He has made many friends both with the children and the staff and often talks about them at home. I look forward to the feedback from each session on the app to see what he has been up to, and to ensure he is eating all of his meals and behaving himself! Obviously, since the first lockdown in March 2020, things have been very unsettling for a lot of parents, however, Haddenham Day Nursery has been in contact with all parents on a regular basis to keep us updated with any changes, and they have really tried to go the extra mile to ensure that the children can remain in the nursery so they do not miss out, but also that it is a safe environment for them during the pandemic. The communication is always great, and both I and my son are very happy with the nursery to date.

I would highly recommend a nursery by this group.

My daughter has been at this nursery for a couple of years and we've always felt very happy with the quality of care and attention that she receives. Also, of course, our daughter is happy there and looks forward to going in. The staff have been fantastic, especially the key workers she's had and management. She does various activities during the day and has varied meals and snacks. Feedback is daily online and we receive regular longer informative reports. The nursery has adapted well to the current situation and we feel our daughter is safe.

The entire team at Haddenham have been very supportive in helping our daughters transition back into nursery and routine after lockdown. Our daughter is at ease with her keyworkers and clearly has built a trusting, happy relationship with them.

The team have organised the post-Covid set up well and the kids are very happy.

The nursery has been really supportive at such a difficult time and made the transition of the children going back to nursery really straight forward. They are both happy and thriving.
