Finchampstead Day Nursery

The nursery staff are extremely accommodating and always happy to help with any request. I love the extra activities they do such as French lessons and all of the wonderful artwork they bring home! I highly recommend this nursery both for babies and pre-schoolers and I am very happy with my decision to send my children there. My advice is to go see for yourself!

My son has been attending the nursery for six months. He was tearful in the mornings during the first couple of months but now he cannot wait to go in and give his little friends a hug. The staff are brilliant with the children, very calm, kind, approachable and reassuring. My little one is very happy there, he loves all the activities and enjoys lunchtime - quite often has seconds and even eats his veggies. Something amazing and truly magical happening in there.

She loves the French sessions every Wednesday and asks for the songs at home, which we can play to her on the YouTube channel. It is great that we can see the regular updates on the Parent Zone app and see pictures of what activities she gets up to and what lovely food she has eaten that day. The staff are very friendly and approachable regarding any concern or question we may have. We are very pleased with Finchampsted Day Nursery and would definitely recommend.

They are doing a superb job and I am really impressed and it is a wonderful, loving and caring environment. I certainly recommend the nursery to others. Also, it's so helpful with our other child being at the school next door for convenience of drop offs.

Everyone is very friendly and caring. The children in the Nest have just started to learn French which is great.

I would definitely recommend Finchampstead Day Nursery and would definitely send my second child there too!

My son moved here a month ago and is already more settled and happy than he was at his previous nursery which he went to for more than a year.

He is always so happy going and loves his keyworker.

Lovely outdoor area and they go between rooms a lot which will help when he moves up a room.

Both my children have attended this nursery, one previously in the pre-school and one currently in the baby room. The staff have always been so amazing with both the children and parents and I have always felt 100% confident that my little ones were in safe hands. My toddler absolutely loves his time here and has formed a great connection with his wonderful key workers. They have some amazing new facilities and fantastic outside space and he is always learning something new as activities are really varied. Plus its right next door to my daughter's school which couldn't be more convenient! They have a close relationship with the school, which made my daughter's transition from pre-school to big school very easy. Overall, I can't fault it and we're very happy here.

I have sent 3 of my children to this nursery, they have an exceptional relationship with the children, their understanding and support to the children and the parents are second to none. My last little one is leaving in July this year to start primary school and I will miss the whole team dearly. They have given my children a great start in their educational journey.

The staff are excellent and the activities they do with the children are brilliant and completely relevant to their interests and age. My children have been extremely happy to go to the nursery.

My daughter started last September for 2 and a half years. She is very shy and has always been with me. The staff were brilliant and very understanding, always there to support me. I have had no issues with the staff/nursery. My child has learnt a lot, she is very happy going in.

My daughter has attended for 3.5 years since she was 12 months old, always enjoys her time there, Sunshine room and the Rainbow room. The best feature is the quality of the staff. The team is a great mixture of younger and very experienced staff, many of whom are also parents. This gives the nursery a great perspective for my child. They have a wealth of experience from their childcare training and personal experience. My daughter loves the home cooked meals too, often having seconds. The outside space was always the one thing I had reservations about (my son's nursery had 2 acres for him to explore) however the changes made in the last year have made a huge difference and expanded the learning areas into the outside, making the most of the space they do have. Something else new is the French lesson, my daughter comes home saying 'Bonjour' with such pride she is convinced she can now speak French.

The outdoor facilities at the nursery have been improved significantly recently and with the addition of French classes and trips the woods to explore, there is plenty to keep my son very busy and happy!

Overall I have been extremely happy with the nursery. After experiencing bereavement the nursery, especially my son's key worker, have been fantastic in maintaining a stable, fun and nurturing environment for him. The new facilities and experiences that are now on offer are brilliant and I will be sad to see him leave in the summer but have full confidence all staff will do a great job at preparing the children for the start of school in September.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery, the staff are so friendly and caring, I can't praise them enough. The online tapestry system for keeping parents informed with progress and activities is brilliant. I'm really glad we chose this nursery for him.

We are extremely happy with our son's nursery. The care and safeguarding is excellent and we are confident that our son is being looked after. He is learning so much and enjoying pre-school. His confidence is growing which is a key factor to his learning. The inside and outside is fantastic and he can access these with ease and safety.

My son enjoys every single day in the nursery. That's very positive and happy with everyday updates. My son has learnt quite a lot in the last three months. I like the two rooms 'Sunshine' and 'Rainbow' meet and play.

The care my daughter receives at Bluebird is excellent. She enjoy's coming to nursery and she is happy with her key worker. Every member of staff both myself and my daughter speak to and come into contact with are so happy and cheerful. They are extremely calm and patient which is very helpful with my daughter. As far as the invoicing of sessions, however, I find them confusing, despite asking about them I am frustrated by a lack of accessible communication about the invoices E.g Email only and delays in replying.

The nursery environment has been significantly improved and the new outdoor area has really brought this area back to life - the children love it.
