Finchampstead Day Nursery

Our child enjoys the social interaction with the other children. Our child seems happy and well there. Staff talk through things with us if we have any questions or special instructions. We hear from them promptly if there is an issue. Overall we are glad that our child is enjoying nursery.

Moved from London and my daughter has settled really well! She loves to come every day and the staff are great too! Recommend!! Also like that there's not too many children so that the children get more quality care.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was two, and now at four, she is leaving only because we are relocating. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, nurturing, and incredibly supportive, creating a safe and stimulating environment where she has truly thrived. She has built such an incredible bond with her keyworker that is so heartwarming!

The care and attention given to each child is outstanding, and we've seen our daughter grow in confidence, independence, and social skills. The activities are engaging and well-structured, striking a great balance between learning and play. The team always go above and beyond.

My son really enjoys going, and only has good things to say when he comes home. He loves all the games, reading, learning and making new friends. The staff are friendly, kind and great at communicating. Highly recommend.

Both of my children attend Finchampstead day nursery and I've been thrilled with their progress and happiness since moving them there from another nursery. The staff are warm, friendly, and dedicated to the children, especially a certain staff member who is a real asset to the nursery. My children happily walk in every day, and leave with big smiles, and the staff provide great handovers, letting me know how the children are progressing. My only comment would be that I hope they look to upgrade the outside space and encourage more outside activities.

My daughter attended the nursery from the age of 3 until graduation for primary school this month. She has come on in leaps and bounds in her confidence, self-esteem, social interaction with other children and maths and writing skills to name a few. She was a very shy and reserved child when she started and has since really come out of her shell and become her own person with the confidence to assert herself which is something that always held her back. She built great relationships with all of the staff and always came home telling us about the wide variety of activities she had participated in that day. My daughter attended off the back of her elder brother's positive experience and time there the year before and it has not changed since. They both have lots of happy memories from their time in Nursery here and I will be applying for my youngest in due course!

A wonderful nursery where real professionals work. My son goes to kindergarten with pleasure, there he is given a lot of attention and is taught useful things. I know that he is there safe and in good hands.

My son graduates soon and he has had an amazing time at the school, he's come so far and made so many friends, will be taking my youngest soon hopefully. The staff are amazing, honest and encouraging with everyone, even the parents.

The team are always good and our son always has a happy fun time there we appreciate the care and attention and kindness given, keep up the good work and thanks again!

Our Son started here when he was 12 months old. At first he was a little unsure but now he loves it. The staff are always friendly and professional. Our son is very comfortable in his surroundings and it makes me feel reassured when I go to work.

My daughter has been going to Finchampstead day nursery for nearly a month now, 2 days a week. So far I’m very impressed with it all, Easy to communicate with the staff whether it’s phone, in person, or through the family app which tracks nappy changes. Naps, food and updates on their day along with lovely pictures. The staff are lovely and made my daughter feel very welcome when she was upset upon drop-offs as it was all new to her. Regardless, When I pick her up she is in the best mood and a very happy baby so obviously enjoys her days thoroughly!

When my daughter started at Finchampstead Day Nursery, my greatest fear was her not being able to settle. However, the staff and workers have done an amazing job at getting her to settle. Now my daughter is always happy to go in. The staff are supportive and really good at updating parents on the progress of the children. I can't wait for my son to start.

My daughter has been attending Finchampstead Day Nursery for 3 months and we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives from the staff here. The indoor space is large and has a homely feel to it. The activities they provide for my daughter are amazing! She loves to tell me all about her day when she gets home. We couldn’t imagine her going anywhere else!

My biggest fear when my son joined was his need for lots of cuddles and reassurance and I can see he gets exactly that from the team. He is very happy and content and is coming on leaps and bounds.

My son has been at Finchampstead Day Nursery for nearly 3 years and I would completely recommend them. Our boy is happy and settled and has a fantastic relationship with his key worker and the other staff. He is always happy to attend and has a great time. Feedback is excellent and I love getting the updates and photographs of him throughout the day via an App. During lockdown we were temporarily transferred to other settings which were very good but he always asked to return to Finchampstead. This is a great and very caring setting and I wouldn't want him to go anywhere else.

We moved to Crowthorne in the middle of lockdown and both our children had been through a lot of change. Our youngest who is at the nursery was fully welcomed and settled in really quickly. The staff have been more than friendly and accomodating and my daughter is really happy there. She's always coming home talking about the staff and the kids and what she did in the day. Her communication has improved a lot in the short amount of time she has been there. She has not once complained in the morning about going in which is a great sign that she is settled and happy.

The website/app also means I can get updates easily throughout the day on all aspects of his care and see photos of him engaging in activities which is also reassuring.

Our daughter settled well at the nursery and is learning new things every day. All the staff are caring and communicate well with us parents. We especially like the parentzone app which gets updated frequently and allows us to see all the fun activities that our daughter gets involved in with her little friends.

Very welcoming and staff are engaging and take their time to get to know each parent. The nursery has gone to great lengths to maintain the safety of the children during Covid and this has been clearly explained to the families. Staff always greet you with a cheerful smile.
