Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery

After three years at Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery we couldn't be more grateful for the positive and nurturing environment that they have provided for our daughter. I am ever hopeful that as one daughter leaves for primary school, our other daughter will get a place and we will have a few more years to enjoy it still. We have been through all four classes at Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery, having started when our daughter was one. The induction experience was second to none, she settled so easily with the offer of regular sessions in advance of her start date and by the time I started work I didn't need to worry about tears at drop off any more. We love the flexibility of staff to children's needs such as naps, the fresh air decking that she can access all day and the tailoring of activities to her age and ability, particularly noticeable in Bluebells and prepping her for school. We also love the offering of external activities such as music and dance classes and the relationships and fondness my daughter has developed for her carers in all classes. We just love it all!

Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds and talks with such excitement about her days at nursery. She comes home most nights with artwork or creations that the staff have put together for her and she really enjoys the dance classes that they put on. Covid-19 aside, the team are really good at putting on regular events and encouraging parents to attend. We certainly miss being able to go inside and sign her in each day but it is testament to the staff how well settled all the children are being dropped off outside due to the circumstance and there are very few tears from any children. We love the addition of the whiteboard outside telling us what each class has been up to and find the thorough download of her day such as meals, activities and sleep very helpful. When we viewed other nurseries, many had apps with daily updates instead but after three years of experience we have come to value the conversations with her carers at end of day and love reviewing the photos in her learning journal.

We currently have our second child attending Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery on a full time basis. As with our first child, we are very happy with the care provided by all the staff at the nursery. In these strange and uncertain times they have given us reassurance and comfort and at no point have we felt uncomfortable or unsafe leaving our child with them. Both of our children have enjoyed the nursery a lot and have made many good friends there, both children and adults. We can definitely recommend Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery.

Both my sons have attended Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery and have absolutely loved it. I couldn't recommend them enough. Staff are always helpful, attentive and caring. They and the nursery are a credit to their profession.

Great activities provided on a daily basis and children reach milestones. Good communication with parents. Regular nursery update with emails. My son loves coming into the Buttercup room and has made strong relationships with all staff members. Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery have a fabulous outdoor space with two very large gardens and they spend a lot of time in the garden which is excellent for physical development. During the Covid-19 period, activities were emailed and we received videos of staff singing nursery rhymes. Very happy with Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery. My son has developed so well at Kiddies' Cabin Day Nursery with the two days he attends.

My son always comes home happy and telling me he has had a good day talking about all the staff in his room.

My son started at Kiddies' Cabin after the 1st lockdown in 2020, we are so pleased with how much he’s developed in that time, especially after having 3 months at home with us. He went into the Buttercup room and we’ve felt supported and cared for by the staff in there. We also find the nursery management team extremely helpful and approachable. My son has become a happy confident child and we would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

My son loves going to Kiddies’ Cabin Day Nursery. The staff are great, the rooms are a good size and the outdoor area is brilliant. Communication with the parents is also good. I cannot fault them. Get in early to get a space.

Kiddies' Cabin has provided a fantastic nursery experience for both my children. It's a great environment, and the staff are very caring, knowledgeable and approachable. The managers are doing a fantastic job!

Really happy with the nursery and staff since my son started just over a year ago, at 2 years old. Everyone working there is friendly and my son settled in really quickly after leaving his last nursery. He is learning lots and the staff give good individual feedback each day. Facilities are good and great inside/outside space.

Our son is very happy at Kiddies' Cabin and we have found all the staff to be friendly and professional. The nursery maintains good communication with parents, including through lockdown when they continued to check in on our son's progress and wellbeing. Overall we are happy with our experience.

My son attended Kiddies' Cabin for 4 years and my daughter is currently attending - it's a great nursery and they've both had a great time there. The carers have built great relationships with the kids and are very pleasant to deal with.

The environment at Kiddies' Cabin is light, fun and welcoming. The spaces for different activities both inside, on the terraces whatever the weather or in the garden are varied and educational. The staff are very sweet, thoughtful and kind to the children. Would highly recommend this nursery.

The children's safety is most important and they are good with that. The reason why I am not so happy to recommend the nursery is that I think they are just doing the minimum. The activities are not creative and nothing is really organised, they are just watching the kids. They could do much more.

Carers = 8/10 very good level of care, follows your discipline, provides feedback, regular parents evening.

The best decision I made moving my sixteen-month-old to Kiddies' Cabin. Staff have been great from the get-go. I know my child is safe, taken care of and developing new skills so often. Will highly recommend the nursery to all parents without any hesitation.
