One of the best nursery I have seen so far. Staff are very kind, friendly and made my 3 years old daughter so comfortable to get adjusted to the routine very soon. My daughter loves her nursery so much that she wants to spend her whole day with her friends and with her teachers. She loves her tea time
and snack time.
I am very happy that she had a good foundation through Adventure Learning.

My daughter started to go to Adventure Learning last year and I am extremely happy with what they teach and the way they interact with the kids. She is a very happy kid and enjoys her time at the nursery. She enjoys making cup cakes and pizza. I would strongly recommend this nursery.

My son started this nursery in Feb 2016. The positive change in him has been immense. I cannot thank the nursery staff enough for all their hard work in caring for my child. I moved my son from a different nursery and am so glad I did. The staff here are friendly, caring and open. They take time to
speak to you about your child and care. They have interesting topics and things to do at nursery, keeping the children engaged and interested in learning. They had chicks hatch at Easter which was exciting for parents and the children to see. They also had caterpillars turn into butterflies which my son loved! The nursery is a good size with a lovely garden. My child looks forward to going to nursery, and is now a happy and confident boy. Overall, I would and already have recommended this nursery to family and friends.
Reply from Manjit, Manager at Adventure LearningThank you for your feedback Harminder, it was a pleasure to receive it. We hope your son continues to enjoy his time at our nursery!

Very good and organised nursery.
My daughter enjoys going to nursery a lot. She has shown a lot of confidence and a lot of progress since she joined the nursery. She used to be a fussy eater, but now she eats well. I love how the nursery is organised, very polite and professional staff. There is a
smooth transition between pick ups and drop off which is great too! They offer a lot of activities which are very essential to every child's development. I have seen this in my daughter as well. Very pleased with this nursery and would recommend to anyone.

Adventure learning goes above and beyond when caring for my child. My son started here when he turned two and being a clingy child I didn't think he would settle. However, the staff were so caring, attentive and affectionate he settled in quickly and has now become a confident and outgoing child. I
couldn't be happier with the staff and they always provide us with detailed and honest feedback of how our son has been. I went to see many nurseries but I am glad I chose adventure learning and I can not recommend it enough.

Great Nursery
Adventure Learning is a very nice, caring and professional nursery set up. The staff are very friendly and attentive to the children's needs. They are very flexible with the times and would try their best to fit in the parents request. I would surely recommend it.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.733)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.733) out of 10 for Adventure Learning is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 10 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 10 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.983 for Adventure Learning is calculated as follows: ( (117 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 119 Ratings = 4.983
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.75 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Adventure Learning is based on 10 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.75
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 30 number of registered child places is 6, which has been reached with 10 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Director & Nursery Manager Joined: 2014

When Mrs Sandhus' two sons went to university 10 years ago, she felt it was time to apply her 30 years of experience in child care in making her dream come true - to open a private day nursery in Langley to enable her to make a meaningful difference to children's lives.

Being a parent and having lived in the local community in Langley, Mrs Sandhu is familiar with the high educational standards parents in Slough have for their children and she hopes to meet those expectations for each child in enabling them to reach their maximum potential whilst at Adventure Learning.

Mrs Sandhu is described by her staff as "loving", "caring" and a "perfectionist". In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and taking her fur baby Bella out for walks.

Mrs Sandhu finds her role rewarding and fulfilling, as she watches each child learn, play and explore, ready for their next transition to school.
