The Wigwam Day Nursery

half today and she loves her carers and friends at Wigwam - they have guided and trained her to navigate her way through a community setting. They also do week-long projects that lets the kids play with the idea long enough to get a feel for it. The 7-7 open hours also helps us parents not worry too much about that odd occasion when we might be stuck in traffic and not make it by 6. Overall, would definitely recommend Wigwam to friends.

French lessons, dance lessons, cooking lessons, messy play, intergenerational project, painting, garden play and many more! The staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The nursery has played a huge part in my daughter's life and I'm glad that she had the pleasure of attending such a wonderful nursery as this one.

Food is good but we did not agree with offering young children dessert every day at lunchtime. However, we eventually had to accept it as our child wasn't happy with a menu different from everyone else.

Apart from a few occasional tears at drop off, our daughter has always been very happy to attend the Wigwam. This to us is the most important thing and we would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

All the children are always having fun, learning through play and are so confident in communicating with their peers and adults. I think The Wigwam Day Nursery helps them to be well-rounded children. I certainly don’t worry about them when they are there and enjoy hearing their stories from the day on the way home.

In the summertime, they learnt about the life cycle of a chicken as it developed from an egg into a chick. Recently the Deers team took part in fundraising for SCBU at the local hospital by selling a recipe book which they beautifully designed themselves, packed with recipes of healthy snacks and treats which they prepared over time.
They have many other planned activities throughout the year eg, bonnet parades, sports days, and many other fun activities and outings.
Meals are carefully planned by a chef on site, freshly prepared, healthy and fun for the children.

In my opinion, this is an outstanding nursery, well done!

varied and the nursery also uses external resources for some play e.g. a regular sing/dance session which our daughter loves. The menu is diverse and the quality of the food is excellent - it is very rare that our child does not eat most/all of her food. Most importantly the staff are generally excellent. They are both friendly and easily approachable and they show a genuine interest in the well-being and development of our daughter. There are lots of opportunity for an informal catch-up and more formal feedback is provided on a circa 3 monthly basis. It's hard to overstate what a great nursery this is - would thoroughly recommend!

son started with this nursery when he was 2.5 years old and till then he had not started with his speech. But within a few months, we could notice his vocabulary has increased as well as his speech was improving day by day. They even gave a helping hand in toilet training. Also, they have nurtured my kid with good manners like to say sorry, thank you and please whenever appropriate.
My son enjoyed the French classes and dance classes offered by them a lot. They are very strict with the rules related to sickness so that other kids are not affected.
Also, I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful. I am so thankful to them for their support and all they have done for my son.

The staff are so caring and lively. I am sure she will learn new things and reach her milestones with all their support and care.

and easy to use, the quality and quantity of food is excellent and the nature of the 'small is beautiful' ethic around the whole building is perfectly suited to what we were looking at for our son's nursery. Open from 7am - 7pm for early drop offs, usually only 9 children in the room at any time with 3 staff, a mix of 3 or 4 different activities to engage with every day, always available on the phone if we want to check up on him and a great outdoor space where he can mix with the other older children from other rooms. Would highly recommend, very pleased.
