Bramley Wood Day Nursery

My daughter has been with Bramley Wood since January 2021 when she was 7 months old. I cannot recommend the nursery enough, despite the difficulties with COVID the staff have been great with communicating with us. My daughter is thriving and I love that they have a theme for each week that they focus their learning around. The use the Famly app so I am always able to keep up to date with her day and how she is progressing. They have a fantastic outdoor space which is great for the children to play and learn in.

Lovely, friendly staff who genuinely get to know the children as individuals. Really happy with my daughter at this nursery, I would definitely recommend.

Great to see our little one developing faster and gaining confidence at nursery. Interacting with peers and leaders has helped him fit in with his (slightly older) peers on other days. Sign language, songs, languages, high fives, dancing - all things that we are too tired to give as much time to as we should at the end of a working day. Regular communication, updates, reminders and weekly plans allow us to support the learning and experience at home.

An absolutely fantastic nursery! My son is always so excited to be dropped off and I can see how much he adores all the staff there. They are cooperative with my wishes for my son and I know they always put the children at the forefront. He has learned so much since joining in June and flourished socially too. Bramley Wood go to extra lengths setting up special events in the evening and weekends for holidays like Christmas (brunch with Santa on a Sunday morning) and Halloween (spooky trail after pickup). The food is healthy and varied and they do a great variety of activities. I would recommend highly.

My little boy has been going to Bramley wood since he was 18 months and he loves it! The staff are extremely friendly and caring, and that shows every afternoon in him with his smiling face skipping out of nursery. During such a difficult time with covid, I am not sure the staff could have done anything more to protect the children, themselves and us parents. Changes were implemented promptly and improved upon over time to now where children are dropped off at different locations of the building in order to keep distance a top priority. Not only all of this but the staff have gone over and above to make our precious children’s experience the best it can be by organising evening Halloween parties in the garden with treats (amazing effort by the way) and giving up their Sunday for a Christmas special with Santa and lunch for just the children. My boy's speech and learning is coming along nicely and the food is so good with hot meals every lunch. Bramley Wood, you are wonderful!

My daughter had the most amazing 6 months at Bramley Wood. She has learnt so much and is completely ready to start preschool. She was cared for and always came home happy. I would 100% recommend Bramley Wood Nursery.

I would 100% recommend Bramley Wood! The staff are absolutely amazing. My son is always so excited to go to nursery and he absolutely loves it! You can tell the staff really love being there and really do care about the children. I also really like that they keep you posted throughout the day with what your child is doing, what they have eaten, slept and nappy changes as well as weekly memos what they will be doing that week! As soon as I went to visit the nursery they made me feel so welcomed and that feeling has never faded throughout the whole time my son has attended. They have been fantastic with changes due to the pandemic and even when my son couldn't attend during lockdown they still kept us updated every week.

My son was transferred to Bramley Wood from another nursery during lockdown. What was a very difficult time for us as both myself and my husband had to continue working as key workers was made so much easier on us by knowing our son was so well cared for by the staff at Bramley Wood. Very understanding of our concerns over moving him (aged 2) and not being able to have settling in sessions or even go inside the building ourselves they did everything they could to put us and him at ease. He settled in extremely quickly and clearly loved being there. The staff are professional and caring and even in difficult times, communication was great. I can't thank them enough and would recommend them without reservation.

We are very happy with the care that our son receives when he goes to Bramley Wood once per week. He is always happy to go inside and always comes out with a big smile on his face. His best friend goes there too so that probably helps but he does talk about the staff he meets and that tells us he has good fun with them too.

My son has been with Bramley Wood day nursery for over three years and he has absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. I have watched him grow and develop into a very happy and confident boy. I am thankful to all the teachers and staff who have contributed to his development and given him such great care.

My little girl loves this nursery, very friendly and helpful staff, always keeping me updated on my little girl's progress via a parent app with photos of what she's getting up to. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Overall I am very happy about Bramley Wood, the price could seem a bit high but it is the best decision I have made.

We cannot recommend Bramley Wood enough. They are a truly caring and supportive nursery. Our daughter is just about to leave Bramley Wood after three years and is ready to start school, after all the support and encouragement received from the amazing staff to realise her potential. Our son stated at Bramley Wood in March, we couldn't imagine him being anywhere else. Bramley Wood has always been a friendly and happy place with wonderful, patient, and caring staff. We are always greeted with smiles and queries are responded to quickly. The facilities are great with plenty of space and different rooms. The garden is very large and they spend a lot of time outdoors which is great. Both children adore the French lessons and songs. The service we have received over the past three years has been outstanding. The staff has compassion and understanding and we cannot thank them enough.

Our son has been attending Bramley Wood for nearly two years now, from 1 year up to 3. He was helped in settling into the nursery by the staff, who showed him the care and attention to help him do so. He quickly adapted, and before long was interacting with staff, his peers and started building his social skills. He now loves going in - he gets excited on the walk down, and when getting picked up. At the nursery he enjoys singing, dancing, building towers, playing with trains, peers, and being in the garden, especially the sand pit. The mobile app is very useful for this, as we get updates on what they did during the day, the odd photo and quick debriefs at the end, all suitably socially distanced. We're happy with the nursery and think he is too.

When looking for nurseries we felt Bramley Wood struck the right balance of providing a professional setting whilst also creating a friendly, homely environment. The staff are lovely - always smiling, enthusiastic and happy to help with any questions I’ve had. My eldest daughter, currently in pre-school, started in July ‘19 and my youngest joined the mini-nest in February this year. They both absolutely love their days at nursery; they’re always excited to get there and my eldest has lots of wonderful things to tell me about her day upon pick-up. They both have great relationships with the staff and have made lots of friends too. During the lockdown, the communication from Bramley Wood was excellent. The new procedures put in place have been well thought through and executed perfectly. My girls have adapted to the new set-ups with no issue which is a testament to the approach of the staff and their relationships with the children. We’re so pleased we chose Bramley Wood and will continue to recommend it.

My eldest son was at Bramley Wood for 2 years and absolutely loved every second of it. It is such a warm, caring environment and the carers and management are second to none. Emails are answered rapidly, communication with your child's room is clear and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There is a huge emphasis on outdoor learning and my son came home every day really excited about all the activities he'd done. When he entered pre-school, they got him so excited about phonics he wanted to practice all the time at home. The management seek feedback constantly and always act on it and care extends well beyond the day to day with Christmas Fairs, Mother and Father days, summer events, etc. It's a real community nursery. I am absolutely ecstatic that my youngest will be joining in September and cannot recommend this nursery highly enough; truly wonderful.

I feel that they choose key workers with care, making sure that they have a bond with the children and it really shows.

Our 15-month-old daughter started at Bramley Wood during lockdown under key worker provision and the team were amazing at settling her in during unusual circumstances. It was clear she enjoyed her time there, always happy to arrive and clearly well looked after during the day based on her being happy at pick up, getting the right amount of sleep and enviable food choices! Updates during the day using the app mean I can check on how she’s doing and the pictures allow me to see some of the activities she’s involved in and friendships she’s forming. It helps her development and she is very settled there, thank you Bramley Wood team.

My son joined Bramley Wood in June following the Covid restrictions being lifted and stayed until the end of term. Although he was only there for a short time he thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff there, notably his key worker were great and made him feel welcome and comfortable. He always came home full of stories about his day and had always had fun. He was extremely sad when he had to finish at the end of term and even now (a month later) still talks about the friends he made and how much he misses Bramley Wood. From a parental perspective, the nursery was well managed - communication was excellent and the staff always took the time to give me a quick rundown of my son's day even though they were incredibly busy. The procedures put in place as a result of Covid-19 were well managed and adhered to, meaning that I felt extremely confident that my son would be safe in their care. Overall a lovely setting and both my son and myself are sorry that he couldn't stay longer.

My daughter is currently in her last year at Bramley Wood having joined when she was just one year old. The nursery has been fantastic in helping her develop so many skills that I wouldn't have been able to teach her at home. She eats a great variety of food which is usually a struggle at home. The team at Bramley Wood have always been so helpful and accommodating on our journey with them. They take the time to respond to any query and are always happy to help out wherever they can. They team are also so enthusiastic and it's lovely to see how passionate they are with helping the children grow. My daughter has made some amazing friends there and going to Nursery is the highlight of her week.
