Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Leighton Buzzard

When she is sad she is reassured. Thanks to Kiddi Caru, she is confident and independent, her speech is rapidly improving and she appears to be learning with a smile on her face. The app is a great idea and I very much enjoy the updates. I can relax knowing that she is looked after.

Our son has been at Kiddi Caru Leighton Buzzard since April 2022 and he has absolutely loved it. The staff there are brilliant and he has built wonderful relationships with many of them. He goes in every day with a smile on his face.

Brilliant staff who really care for the children, and go the extra mile to keep them safe and engaged. Facilities and equipment are good, allergies and other additional needs are well catered for, and our children have not only enjoyed their time at nursery but learnt so much too. I would highly recommend it!

Highly recommend Kiddi Caru Nursery in Leighton Buzzard. The staff are so friendly and caring and my little boy absolutely loves it there which gives me such peace of mind when I go to work. The facilities and food are excellent and the communication from the staff is fantastic. Can't fault it.

Immensely grateful for the care and support my son gets from Kiddi Caru Nursery. He started when he was eleven months old and prior to that, had never been away from my husband and I for any amount of time. The staff have been so helpful from his early transition, to now, where going to nursery twice a week is just part of his routine. The team working with my son have provided him with loads of comfort and support and I when I leave him in the morning, I know he truly cared about during the day. This provides me with comfort as well. I have seen him come on in his development since he started as well. Thank you all so much for the past two months.

All the staff clearly care about my child and work their hardest to make sure she has the most positive and engaging experience each day she's in. I never have to worry about whether my child is being fully supported, cared for and encouraged to broaden her horizons. I only have good things to say about our time at Kiddi Caru in the 18 months we've been there.

My son has been going to Kiddi Caru since 2019, 4 days per week. We absolutely love this nursery from the ladies in the room to the management. Every single person knows my son's name and engages with him. Lots of staff have been there for years which is always a good sign. My son loves going in every day, what more can we ask for!

Such a brilliant nursery. The staff really go above and beyond to get to know the children and make it a home-from-home environment. Our little girl has been at Kiddi Caru since she was 13 months old and it’s clear she absolutely loves it there and has really bonded with the staff. Communication is brilliant and staff are always available to answer questions at drop off or pick up.

Lovely welcoming staff, making the whole family feel part of the nursery, giving us great confidence in leaving our little girl there. They offer many opportunities to discuss your child and their learning environment! Everyone knows the children, we are greeted so warmly on arrival in the mornings by all who pass us. Their staff are the best and my little girl loves them all!

Lovely Nursery, my little boy has settled in very nicely. Helpful and diligent staff. My son has become more independent since he started at Kiddi Caru. A great learning environment and I feel confident in leaving my son in their very capable hands.

They have always been great with my son. He has come along so quickly with his speech. Everyone is so easy to talk to and has a great friendship with my son. They always remember that we've been away and ask my son what he has been up to. Would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a great nursery.

My daughter loves to spend time there. She settles very well and all the girls help her to not feel my absence. She likes to play with her friends and when I pick her up she is talking about it. Thank you girls.

I feel very confident leaving my daughter in their capable hands. My friends have been commenting on how much she has improved and I felt I should take the time to thank the school for helping her grow. My special thanks to her key workers my daughter adores them. I will recommend the school to anyone without hesitation.

We joined this nursery under previous ownership and experienced one that earned and deserved an Outstanding rating. Sadly, under Kiddi Caru ownership and a mostly new Management team, we have not had the same experience. There is a disappointing lack of any semblance of structure to the pre-schooler day, a lack of guided activity-based learning, and practical preparation for transition to school. A supplement is charged for educational activities which I was not able to see any benefit from. Some staff are wonderful, some show disinterest and lack of acknowledgement at collection time. In my opinion, without a strong Management team to lead the staff, there is now a somewhat less organised and chaotic feeling within the room setting, not helped by the increase in the size of the nursery which has increased the number of children to manage. We did raise concern for our child (due to another child) and this was addressed by the nursery to our satisfaction. Okay overall, not what it once was.

Once everything was back to normal, the communication was clear and open, my child developed well and formed strong attachments to the room team and I really felt they cared for the children they looked after.

My daughter has just finished up in Kiddi Caru. I cannot fault the team in the slightest. My little one adored each and every person. We are going to miss everyone dearly! The team are all so supportive and understanding. I would not have had my daughter anywhere else and I know for sure any more children I have in the future will definitely be going here. Have had nothing but pleasant encounters. The care they provide to our children is also outstanding. 100% recommend!

My child was happy at the nursery and had a very good relationship with peers and some staff. The introduction of Kiddicaru's own curriculum didn't appear to add value or quality to what the nursery had provided in previous years when under previous ownership, but came with additional fees. It is disappointing that the pre-schoolers no longer have access to adult-led phonics activities to help school readiness. The pre-school room is much bigger after the extension, but the increase in child numbers and many 'blindspots' the new space created meant that the staff were not able to manage the behaviour of the children effectively or keep the children safe from harm (peer-on-peer aggression). Some effort has been made to reconfigure the space to help address this. The outdoor space is a good size but the large raised beds would be better planted than used as mud baths for the children to explore. It is a shame the toddlers don't have free-flow to outdoors now that their room is upstairs.
