Chestnut Nursery School @ Woodgrange

Chesnut has been wonderful for both our son, who spent a few months here, and our daughter, who is currently enrolled. The caring and passionate staff create a lovely environment and they both love going in. They engage in activities every day and I am always impressed with the artwork they bring home each day! They have lots of fun and feels like they have made great bonds with all the teachers there.

I really like the way they take care of the children and try their best to teach them letters, numbers and emotions. I personally really appreciate the work that they do for the kids and I hope more people come to see how well they teach kids right and wrong so they can progressively learn.

My daughter has been going to the nursery since just after her second birthday. It took her quite a while to settle in, however, due to the consistency of staff and level of care she is doing so well. I haven’t found it easy to let someone else take care of her, but my mind has been at peace, I know that she is safe and well taken care of. The staff have made sure that her special dietary requirements are taken care of and my daughter comes home singing songs I haven’t taught her, her vocabulary has grown extensively and she asks for nursery on her non-nursery days. She comes home happy and I am so happy I made the choice to send her here.

It is a pleasure to take my child to Chestnut Nursery. Staff are nice, polite,friendly and professional. I have no concern whatsoever. I will recommend to other parents. My child feels safe there and happy, she is always looking forward to going and playing with her friends. Thank you to all members of staff for looking after my child.

Chestnut Nursery is a lovely place! My daughter has been attending nursery since 2020. I have always felt very happy, confident and satisfied leaving her there. The staff are so helpful and supportive of all the children. My daughter has a very strong bond with the nursery and the staff. Since going to Chestnut Nursery I can see a massive difference in my child's learning, social behaviour and improvements in other things. She never wants to miss a day out of nursery. The staff are very polite, friendly and informative with the parents. You can tell that they genuinely care and want the best from the children! The management is outstanding!

My daughter attended Chestnut Nursery for an academic year, and we were happy throughout. The setting itself is neither too small nor too big; it is shady and green, reassuring for children. The staff deserve special praise; they are caring, get to know the children very well and give regular updates to parents. My daughter became very attached to all of them. Lunches seem a bit repetitive, but this is the only downside. I would highly recommend this setting all the same.

The staff are very friendly and kind towards parents and children. The children are all well engaged at the nursery. The staff listen and act on any queries we as parents have. Thank you.

Chestnut is a lovely nursery, staff are attentive and create very close bonds with the children. I also like the fact the space is open plan, free play is encouraged as well as organised activities and the children of all ages mix. The large garden is also a bonus.
