Valentines Nursery is an Ofsted-awarded 'Outstanding' nursery (March 2017 & December 2022) that offers full-day care and part-time sessional care for 40 children aged from birth to five years.

They offer a "home from home" warm and friendly environment where children are supported to thrive, developing a broad range of skills both educationally and within their social and emotional realm, successfully supported from the secure base of a nurturing relationship between Key Person and child. (Ofsted 2022).

The nursery successfully completed the Quilt (Quality Assurance in Learning and Teaching) scheme in 2008, receiving the highest level of credit in all nine modules, and continues to work in strong positive partnership with the London Borough of Redbridge to deliver the highest possible standards of childcare, achieving a Healthy Early Years London (bronze) Award in 2019. The Senior Manager is an experienced, qualified Early Years teacher with Early Years Professional Status and the highly skilled and experienced Manager has achieved a degree in Early Years.

The nursery thinks about children as unique individuals, each with their own valuable contributions to make, and thus tailors the highest-quality provision to meet their needs as fully as possible, allowing them to blossom as they should.

Experienced and expert Staff know that the first five years of a child's life are formative and therefore the key to a successful life trajectory. The nursery also understands that this is best achieved when children are happy, secure, healthy, resilient, and thoughtfully supported every day to develop a life-long thirst for learning and discovery through a stimulating and appropriately challenging curriculum.

Really great nursery, always friendly and attentive. The last couple of years haven’t been straight forward, but they’ve really helped our son get through all the start, stop and changes. He always talks about the adults in a hugely positive way and stays busy with a variety of fun activities.

My husband and I are so pleased with our son's all round development and progress in the short space of time, since he started attending Valentines Nursery. For example, speech development, use of cutlery, becoming more independent, expressing his views, developing manners etc. The management and staff
are amazing, they are truly invested in the children and their future. It is a happy and friendly environment for children to thrive and learn.

Valentines Nursery is a wonderful nursery. Our little son had such a lovely time there. Three members of staff, in particular, were excellent. The staff are so considerate and caring. I couldn’t recommend this nursery more. We would have stayed with them, but left as we were relocating. Only wish we
could have brought the nursery with us.

To our family, Valentine's Nursery is like a second home. Due to the great care that my first son received here eight years ago, we decided to send our second son to Valentine's nursery earlier in 2021. We saw a great big change in him in just a few weeks after he started at Valentine's. He has become
very chatty and likes to sing and dance. I can see a huge growth in his confidence and happiness. The nursery staff are highly professional, experienced and very friendly to talk to. Both my husband and I are very happy with the services and care that Valentine's Nursery has provided for our son. I feel my son is safe and well looked after at the nursery during the pandemic as well as after the lockdown. I am so glad we have chosen Valentine's for our little one as it has continuously proved to be the best 'outstanding' nursery with excellent experienced staff. And with that, I know for sure my son will continue to achieve and thrive with our beloved Valentine's Nursery family.

We would highly recommend Valentine's nursery. From the initial conversation with the manager, until now, there is nothing we can fault about this nursery. Our daughter started here when she was 14 months and she has really blossomed since. She was initially a very reserved and shy child and since attending
here, she is thriving beyond our imagination. The staff are professional, intelligent and sensitive and really cater to each child's individual needs. Throughout the pandemic, the nursery has been reliable and has communicated with us very clearly. We have been impressed by the level of care she has received as well as the fantastic range of activities and outside space, she gets with regular updates via the app. The whole team are fantastic and we feel happy and confident that our child is well looked after and truly cared for.

My first daughter went to Valentines Nursery in 2014 and absolutely loved it there. The staff are amazing and friendly and help whenever needed. My youngest daughter now attends there and is having the exact same amount of fun as my first. It's an amazing nursery - they care for the children and I feel
100 percent certain my kids are in safe hands. I also like the fact that the same staff have been there for 10 years plus. I have no negative comments at all about this nursery. Best nursery in Redbridge.

We are extremely impressed with the care and attention that our daughter has received since joining the nursery. She needed extra support during the settling period, the staff were really helpful in the way they offered advice and reassurance to ease her into nursery life. She has progressed so well
over the last year - she is constantly learning new things and is given opportunities to learn in ways that support her individual needs. The nursery has handled the Covid situation really well, they left us feeling very comfortable and happy to take our daughter into the nursery after the first lockdown, even since this, they have kept us well informed of the ways in which they are keeping everyone safe.

My son started at Valentine’s Nursery over a year ago now. We started with two days a week and now three. The staff are very caring and attentive. Great communication too and the use of an application to let us know the daily progress of my baby is very good. The rules they put in place around COVID
are very reassuring; I feel that it is a safe place. In terms of development, it also has very high standards. He learns a lot and has recently picked up a few new words from the Nursery and started to communicate with us. In short, I would definitely recommend Valentine’s Nursery to people who are looking for an excellent and safe environment for your babies.

Valentines nursery is a fantastic, caring and safe environment for babies and young children to attend. My daughter has been attending since 9 months old and has gone from strength to strength regarding her language skills, physical confidence and also social skills. The team are very attentive to the
children, as well as getting on well with one another which helps create a relaxed and friendly environment. The children are given the space and time for their own personalities, likes and dislikes to flourish. The nursery have been very good in the face of the pandemic and have kept parents fully informed of the measures introduced to help keep staff and children safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Valentines nursery to any parent(s) looking for a safe and nurturing setting for their little one.

Great nursery. A few notable things:
- I feel our son is always learning new things, and he enjoys the company of the staff and the other kids.
- The variety of food is awesome (I feel like he eats better than I do when I see what he's eaten each day)!
- We did feel like there was an issue a few
months ago and we let the management know over the weekend via email. By 10am on Monday morning we had had a meeting with 2 managers and a member of care staff, and resolutions were decided upon there and then. The swiftness of dealing with our concern was really good.
- The way the management have dealt with all the Covid stuff has been really good (I feel the general manager works sometimes too hard - checking/sending emails at all hours on the day, every day of the week).
- There is a super low turnover of staff (basically none), so that shows that the carers like the company/kids/job/etc. which provides a great stable environment for the kids.

A really lovely nursery. My son loves going and the nursery have been great and supportive through the difficult past year with the pandemic. My son learns and develops so much through the focused play and activities which he loves. He also loves the food which is a nice balanced menu.

I am extremely happy with the level of care all the staff provide my daughter. Having had her at home for three years, I was quite apprehensive about leaving her in a new, unfamiliar setting. The staff were so supportive and made sure the transition was super easy. My daughter has settled in so well
and is making excellent progress. The nursery is always clean, and the staff are always welcoming. I’ve already recommended the nursery to a colleague who will send her son there and will continue to do so. I love the updates I get through the app and the excellent opportunities the staff put in place for the children to develop different skills through play. The menu is extensive and nutritious, even though my daughter is a picky eater at nursery, she is encouraged to try different varieties of food. Overall, I could not be happier with the nursery.

We are very pleased that we chose Valentines Nursery for our son.
Though it was a bumpy start, the nursery manager and the staff helped and supported us until my son settled in.
Now in the pink room, my son loves going to nursery and playing with his friends and has formed a wonderful relationship
with the staff.
I would especially like to thank my son's key workers and comment on how genuinely warm and loving they are to all the kids.
Valentines Nursery has helped my son with his confidence - he was a shy little boy and now he can form relationships with other kids and people in general, which is so very important in the early years. There are many fun activities for the kids and a variety of developmental activities too.
The food is fine but the nursery truly excels because of the wonderful staff and I would recommend this nursery to all new parents.

I am extremely happy with Valentine's nursery staff, activities, I would recommend them as an outstanding nursery. My son is enjoying it so much, he has developed so well and all the staff are just lovely and trustworthy. As a first time mum, it was important for me to leave my son in good care as I
returned to work. All the staff and management have helped me adjust, not just my son. He has settled in quickly and is now enjoying his time with his buddies. I couldn't be more proud of how my son has developed ever since he started nursery. I would recommend Valentine's nursery to all new parents who wish to have the best care possible for their children.

My daughter has been at Valentines Nursery since May 2019 and she has learnt and grown so much in a space of only 4 months.
When she first arrived was not sociable, clingy and not confident, to say in just 4 months she is independent, sociable and super confident and this is thanks to the dedication,
commitment, time, effort and energy given during her time there by all staff members. They have also been brilliant in making special efforts due to my daughter's intolerances and have also helped along at times being a new mum.
I would recommend Valentines Nursery again and again.

My daughter has been attending this nursery over the last three months and I see such big changes in her. She started just shy of turning two and my biggest worry was her talking and eating. She has improved in both in a matter of months and her confidence has increased even more so. I love how they
maintain communication with parents through the app and showing us highlights of her week through pictures and videos. They are a great friendly team!

My twins have attended this nursery since they were 11 months old. Since then they have taken to nursery as their home. They have felt so loved and always had the most fun and never hesitated when they were dropped off. The nursery always keeps us updated with progress via an app which goes straight
to our email/phones. We get to see instant photos and videos of things they've been doing which is always reassuring.
The girls have always cared for them and understood them and knew how each twin had to be cared for individually.
They have recently started reception and being the “August babies” I was worried they will be too young and too behind with all the older children but nope. Nursery had got them so well prepped and ready that on their first day they ran in all excited and confident.
My third baby is now settled and enjoying the same experience if not then better, as they are always full of new fun ideas to keep the children going.
