Valentines Nursery

As a mother of 3 children, the decision to send my children to this nursery was one of the best decisions made. From boosting my child's self confidence. vocabulary and social skills, this nursery has contributed to his future development on many ways. The staff from the baby room all the way to the toddler room have been amazing and so kind! They all know how to care for the children so well and always support, give daily diaries and reassure parents each day. The managers of the nursery are well organised and solve any issues happily. They are honestly superstars at their job! As the group sizes are small, my children found it extremely easy to build a 1:1 relationship which is hard to find with other nurseries. Unfortunately, it has become the time to leave and as a family, we are very upset as its one of the best nurseries ever ! I cannot recommend the nursery enough and I assure you will have a similar experience.

As a first-time mum, I was very anxious about leaving my daughter at nursery, but the team at Valentines Nursery made the transition so much easier. My daughter quickly settled, always came home smiling, and genuinely enjoyed attending - which gave me huge peace of mind. It's clear the staff truly love working with children. They show so much care, patience, and warmth, and it really reflects in how happy and confident the little ones are. Because of the wonderful experience we had with my firstborn, I enrolled my second daughter too, and she has settled just as well.

I'm incredibly happy with the nursery and deeply grateful for the support, kindness, and hard work the staff put in every single day - it doesn't go unnoticed. They have made - and still are making - both my daughters' early years so positive, and I can't thank them enough!

Valentine's Nursery is such a wonderful and welcoming nursery. My little girl has loved every minute of her time there. Even asking to go at the weekends. It's truly like a home away from home. The staff are friendly and supportive. They've always been flexible for our family routine and go above and beyond to ensure the children are happy and have the best experiences. The opportunities for parent involvement have been amazing and the communication between nursery and home is consistent. I'm very grateful my daughter has had the opportunity to be park of such a wonderful Nursery. It's been a fantastic start to her educational life!!

I drop my son off at Valentines Nursery without a single worry! The staff at the nursery are an extension of our village raising our son. The nursery staff are very attentive to our child's needs, are great with communication and very supportive on any particular things we have requested on meal changes etc. Our son has a great time at nursery, he enjoys a wide range of activities and the nursery has been a huge part in his development.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I would highly recommend Valentines Nursery!

We have had the most amazing experience as parents of a 20 month old at Valentines nursery since he started in September. There is a fantastic staff team who are nurturing and make a real effort to know all of the children and our son is thriving in their care. The communication is always excellent - whether that is at the door for drop offs and pick ups, via the nursery app, via phone calls or e-mails. We would recommend to all!

I highly recommend Valentines Nursery!

Since attending the nursery I’ve noticed an increased independence in my child. She loves going and is content and happy with staff. I receive regular updates about her day and staff are approachable should I have any queries, comments or concerns. My daughter’s meeting her next steps in record times and we notice her willingness to practice her skills at home. Direct feedback at the door is always constructive and more than just “they had a good day”. The nursery staff show their understanding in how valuable this feedback is to parents who haven’t seen their child all day. The outdoor space means she gets to play outside in a safe environment which is something our flat doesn’t offer so it’s great that my child gets valuable time in the garden with her friends at nursery. The nursery is clean and staff take pride in babies' appearance sending them home in a fresh nappy, clean hands and face. The food can be tailored to suit individual needs and my daughter loves it!

The care provided by all staff at Valentines Nursery is exemplary. My daughter settled in seamlessly and is always super happy to go through the door in the morning and always happy when I pick her up (chatting away in the car on the way home about her day!). The children take part in lots of different activities and we love getting updates through the app. She quickly got used to the routines, sleeps really well and eats all of the fabulous food that is cooked fresh on site everyday. We could not be happier with our choice of nursery and would highly recommend Valentines to anyone. You have complete peace of mind that your child is receiving the best care and nurture possible by the wonderful staff team.

The review is for my four year old moving into school in September. I have moved my daughter into Valentines Nursery halfway through the year from another outstanding nursery closer to my home, as she's had all sorts of issues with that. Moving her into Valentines Nursery was the best decision I've ever made for her emotional well-being. As I can compare it with her previous nursery, I can easily say that Valentines Nursery looked after my child with care, compassion, encouragement and enthusiasm. The staff are all amazing; they've worked with my child to fulfill her health needs and make an easy transition into adapting to other kids (as my child is shy) and they have given her the courage and care she needed. As a parent, most of all, I liked the electronic report with her daily activities, the food they ate and sometimes pictures. When I asked my daughter to summarise how her experience with the nursery was, she said they have the best food and toys! A sincere thank you!

Finally, I have had to move the days she attends round a bit for work reasons and the staff have always been really responsive and flexible. Communication with us, as parents, has been excellent.

Our son has been going to Valentines Nursery since he was nine months old. He settled in well there. The staff at the nursery have been excellent and have helped him, as much as they can, whilst he is under their care. Our son has special needs and the nursery has been very good in supporting him and has successfully obtained additional inclusion funding for him, to provide appropriate support. There is very good communication from the nursery and our son seems happy to be there. Overall, we are very pleased with this nursery and recommend it without hesitation.

The Ethos of the nursery is really lovely. A small nursery that is able to care for and nurture the needs of the children. I have seen my own child flourish as they have settled in and now constantly is smiling when I collect them. The staff are honest and are genuinely interested in the child's development and growth which I can see at home too. Having clear and open communication is really important to me and each staff member I have spoken to has these qualities. I would recommend this nursery without hesitation.

My daughter is 3 and a half years old and has been attending Valentines Nursery for the past 6 months. She was eager to start after a short visit and managed to happily settle in. The nursery environment itself contains a range of stimulating activities for the children to partake in with a lovely outdoor space. The staff are constantly encouraging children to be more self-aware and independent and providing support where needed. This has been reflected at home with her positive attitude towards daily tasks. My daughter enjoys the healthy nutritious meals the nursery provides which are catered towards her dietary needs. We are extremely lucky to live locally to Valentines Nursery as it certainly lives up to its 'Outstanding' status. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication.

Honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Great nursery, our son genuinely enjoys going and comes out happy. Invaluable education whilst having fun. Staff are attentive and give regular updates, supporting in children achieving milestones and how we can further aid at home.

Our 3 year 9 month old daughter has been with the nursery for 2.5 years now (and during the pandemic) and we've never had any issues with the service they provide. With our daughter being our first child, as parents, we were always apprehensive about where her childcare would take place. We are delighted and were reassured instantly that we had made the right decision. The staff have always been helpful and polite - our child has been happy throughout her time and we'd have no hesitation recommending other parents now and in the future.

I had such a positive experience with Valentines Nursery with my eldest (now 6) that I had to ensure my 2-year-old attends too. The care here is unmatched and it is very telling when you know the staff turnover here is incredibly low. I feel very reassured knowing my child is happy, safe and well looked after while we are at work. I love that the menu is inclusive for all children, my child vocally tells me she loves meal times with the nursery. I would and have recommended Valentines Nursery to anyone who asks me and will say that the staff here are very transparent and I always feel I can openly ask about anything I need to. The Montessori approach is great and whilst I have no expectations for my child, we have seen our 2-year-old change from a shy and reserved toddler to a very chatty and sociable one - she is visibly very happy here and it's due to the hard work the managers and staff at Valentines Nursery have put in daily to help our children grow, thank you.

Valentines Nursery is an amazing nursery! The ladies there really cater to your child's needs and makes sure your child feels at home. They have really welcomed my son, made him feel right at home and make sure to follow my routine. It is great as some nurseries I spoke to like to implement their own routines but Valentines Nursery work around you! I would highly recommend it.
