I have been in close contact with nursery for 2 plus years, having both daughters attending. The ultimate review is the happiness and well-being of the children, so 5 stars from my girls.
The staff is excellent, full of care, calm and well prepared to guide, nourish and support the children. Very happy
with the development, communication and flexibility shown throughout our interaction. Many thanks! Our eldest daughter will miss you and the second one will enjoy life in nursery until time comes to go to school.

Good staff training.

Our daughter and son have been attending Fledgelings full-time for the past 1.5 years, and we couldn't be happier. We must express that this is a great nursery, with staff who genuinely care about the children and consistently maintain excellent communication. This communication occurs during pick-up,
with daily feedback, through the app, where we receive regular progress updates and relevant information, as well as during one-on-one meetings when necessary. There hasn't been a single day when our daughter hasn't entered the nursery with a beaming smile on her face.
While we have had a wonderful experience overall, there are a few areas that we believe could be further improved. Firstly, incorporating more outdoor activities, such as taking the children on walks to the park more frequently. Additionally, introducing physical education activities, like yoga for toddlers. Lastly, promoting more frequent get-togethers with parents would foster a stronger sense of community.

Our daughter has attended Fledglings since she was 11 months old and is now due to start school, it is an excellent nursery, with approachable staff and with great communication, being sent pictures, videos and observations of our daughter was great to see what she was getting up to.

Our daughter loves going to the nursery and enjoys her time there. Her class teachers are all very caring and attentive to her needs. She is now more confident and active. Also, her eating has improved significantly; she tries more food and eats more portions. Using the app is very reassuring including
updates on the naps, toileting and eating. Our daughter loves the outdoors but they do not get much outdoor time due to staff numbers. Also, a weekly/monthly summary of what the class does throughout the day with photos would be great. All in all, very happy with the nursery and glad our daughter is comfortable and happy.

Fledgelings Day Nursery has been providing childcare for my children for the past five years. My children have been there from babies through to leaving for school. Each member of staff is experienced, caring and nurturing towards the children. If any issues are raised they are quickly resolved.

My son previously attended this nursery six years ago and we all loved it so there was no question about sending my daughter there. She has had a great time at Fledgelings Day Nursery and it really shows in her confidence, abilities and knowledge. She’s loved all the activities, learning about different
topics and the occasional trip to the park. The facilities are always brilliant and I know she’s offered nutritional meals three times a day (even at times when she’s being extra picky!) The team have been excellent at each stage, from the baby room to preschool. It’s been a great foundation for school and I’m sure she’ll continue to flourish. The staff have been great throughout, even with the challenges of Covid, and my daughter will really miss them when she leaves. Big thank you to the staff for teaching, caring and restyling her hair every time she asks!

The nursery room staff at Fledgelings Day Nursery are like extended members of the family!
They love, guide and care for my daughter in the same way I would. The nursery has aided my daughter with self confidence, academic and social skills in preparation for starting school. The nursery has a homely
feel and they are always completing so many learning activities. She is always encouraged to try new things including foods and snacks.
The nursery is very educational through play.

Fledglings Day Nursery has been a great place for my son to excel and learn about the world. He has made many new friends and really come out of his shy bubble. I just had to share my experience with this amazing nursery.
My three-year-old son has been attending for a year now and I can honestly say, I have never been more pleased with a childcare provider before. The staff is incredibly professional and truly seem to love what they do, which is evident in
the way they interact with the children. The connection with the parents is outstanding, and my husband and I both feel completely confident and secure leaving our son in their care. I usually don't give excellent feedback, but this place deserves it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional childcare.

My baby attends Robin room. Activities throughout the day are stimulating and children are happy and engaged upon visits.
The app allows regular check-ins with staff for updates throughout the day on my child. This includes sleep, food intake and nappies.
Pictures and videos are provided on the
app so I can see what my child is doing throughout the day.

My wife and I walked into this Nursery and we knew it was the Nursery we wanted to send our daughter. We absolutely love this school and the teachers. It was the first time that our daughter didn’t cry when we left, instead she said bye to us.
Our daughter has been attending Fledgelings Day Nursery
Hornchurch for just over one and a half years now. We feel so lucky to have been able to secure a place at Fledgelings Day Nursery Hornchurch. The settling in was quick and the staff made it feel stress free. Our daughter has always been happy when arriving at the nursery in the morning and when picked up in the evening. The staff at Nursery is so dedicated to the well being of all children.
Ever since enrolling her, we have seen many improvements. Nursery helps her more than we expect. Before she enrolled to the nursery, she was not able to speak and communicate with us. She is now singing songs, dancing, drawing amazing pictures and knows all numbers and letters. Thank you so much!

Our daughter loves nursery. She is excited to go every morning and doesn't want to leave. All the staff deeply care about her and her well-being. Our 3-year-old has been with the nursery since she was 1. Although key workers have changed a few times in each room that she was in, it didn't really impact her as she is close to all carers. Staff and management are very supportive of individual child's needs. Updates have been much better with the
app - prompt core updates but development updates/photos are on a periodic basis. Would be nice to see more photos of what the kids are up to.


There are definitely a lot of activities (evidenced by messy painted clothes and artwork)! Our little one looks forward to nursery. They used to go to the park/ walks outside but don't think they have done any in the last year - probably due to lack of staff/staff turnover. It would be great if this can start again. Food/nutrition - we only get updates on the app on what they had that day but never any photos. I do know they have never served chicken nuggets - our little one didn't know what it was at a party!

My child has been attending Fledgelings Day Nursery since she was eleven months old. She is now four years and in the preschool room getting ready to leave to go to school in September.
Throughout my daughter's time at the nursery there has never been a doubt in my mind that she is well cared for and
loved by the staff. All her assigned key workers have been great and communication is fab, especially with the new app.
There are great resources and my child will come home daily talking about all the new things she has learnt. I know that all staff at Fledgelings are building a wonderful foundation for my daughter to start school and she will miss them all dearly when she leaves in August!

I have worked as the Manager at Fledgelings in Hornchurch since June 2022 and previously I have had over 10 years nursery experience in other settings.
The Fledgelings team and I are committed to providing the best learning and development opportunities for the children in our care, and work closely with parents to give a supportive and welcoming environment to everyone.
I work closely with my team to ensure they are confident practitioners and support their wellbeing, training needs and continuous development.
I have recently completed Mental Health First Aid and hold certificates in Safeguarding, Leadership and Management, SEND and the EYFS.
I hope to inspire my team to make everyday amazing for the children in our care.
