We couldn’t speak more highly of our experience at Riverside Nursery Schools, Twickenham Park. Since my daughter joined the whole team have been exceptional and exceeded all my hopes for my daughter's experience and care. Prior to her joining the nursery I was incredibly anxious and worried how she’d
settle, be cared for and supported, as a first time parent it’s a very overwhelming process. But not only did the team support my daughter (tailoring to her temperament to ensure a smooth settle and an excellent experience since) they also supported and reassured me as the parent too - not just as she joined, but throughout her time there. The management and the nursery staff all truly care for the children and build such strong relationships and trust with both the children and parents alike. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, in fact, she hates leaving, the team always plan and set out such brilliant activities every day, they’ve nurtured my daughter and accelerated her development hugely.

We cannot recommend Riverside Nursery Twickenham Park highly enough! Our daughter and son have been there since they were ten months old. They have loved every minute of it and so have we.
We looked at a dozen different nurseries across central and south London before choosing Twickenham Park, and
we are so happy with the decision we made. The facilities are excellent and clean, and it's a really fun environment to learn. But the best thing about the nursery is its staff. The manager, all the educators and even the chef are absolutely brilliant! They genuinely care about the children as individuals and encourage, inspire and nurture them. The staff are such professionals and we have turned to them for advice on many occasions! They handled our son's dietary requirements brilliantly. The communication with the parents is fantastic - at handover, via the app (for photos and updates) and from the central office.
We have all made lots of friends which we will take with us. Thank you, Twickenham Park!

Lovely nursery! The staff are super friendly, and they always make time for a brief summary of what each child did/learned at nursery during pickup. The teachers are clearly well-liked by the children - my son usually runs in through the gate in the morning and runs back to me with the biggest smile
at the end of each session.

Our time at Twickenham Park is coming to an end after almost eleven years, in which our three children have all had a brilliant experience at nursery. In particular, the preschool has really helped with the preparation for primary school, encouraging independence, kindness to others and getting them
started with phonics, alphabet and numbers. They are all confident kids and had a great start at school as they went in with an understanding of boundaries and behaviours. Massive thank you to Twickenham Park Team!

Our child started at 18 months. Very happy of our choice. All rooms are great especially pre school where the level of education and school preparation is amazing! All staff members are very kind, work with the parents and do a great job with the children!

The Riverside nursery school Twickenham has been a big blessing for our daughter and or family, a truly nurturing environment throughout our experience with the school.
The staff comprises of experience, passionate and very knowledgeable teachers who made our little one feel at home from day one.
They

Job Title: Head Educator

Welcome to Twickenham Park Nursery School!


Our nursery is located very close to Richmond Bridge, in East Twickenham. Our ethos is to strive to make every day a unique experience for the children in our care. We always put the child first in everything we do, supporting them to take the lead in how they want to learn and play. We help with children’s general well-being, encourage resilience, social skills and good manners and kind choices to all. We support learning through schemes looking at interests and patterns in play to develop confidence and skills.


We are constantly evolving, assessing and evaluating our practice by looking at ‘Intent’, ‘Implementation’ and ‘Impact’. We give children the best possible start in their early education and by using the seven areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage we help the children experience the awe and wonder of the world in which they live, we make sure our children are ‘school ready’ when they leave, and we prepare them for their future success by sharing essential knowledge through cultural capital and by building activities around the children’s interests. We are a community nursery and a home from home for all that attend and are often described by parents as ‘an extension of their family’.


We encourage British values and welcome and celebrate cultures from around the world. We explore and investigate with a hands-on approach, understanding that experience and practice are key to developing a secure understanding. We pride ourselves in our provision of exciting activities such as Yoga, Karate, Ballet, Music and trips out, including swimming, visits to a forest park, the theatre and local care homes.


Every practitioner here is valued and their opinions and well-being are always considered. We take care of our staff and, as a result, most stay for five to ten years.
