Our daughter started at Twickenham Park when she was a year old and we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. The staff are wonderful and it's clear that they genuinely care about each child. It's been amazing to see how much our daughter has progressed and grown in confidence since starting at the nursery and we love that the staff embrace her personality. The communication has been great and it's lovely to get updates and photos via the app. We are so grateful to all the staff, but particularly those in the baby room, for providing a warm, caring environment that has allowed our daughter to thrive.

We cannot thank the team at Twickenham Park enough for the care and dedication they've given our son this past year. This was the first childcare setting he attended and we were always reassured he was in safe and loving hands. I'm grateful for them making my transition into work in particular smooth and easy.

Riverside Nursery Schools Twickenham Park is such a great environment for our daughter. She genuinely loves the baby room. The staff is wonderful and they genuinely care about her and her development. You see it in the interactions during drop off and pick up but it is also reinforced through the other events like parents evening. Not only does the staff care for my child but they care about each other and are friends which means they are happy at work (an often overlooked thing in child care). They have such a consultative approach, helping you and your baby navigate whatever needs working on (for us it was her milk and egg allergy). They do lots of fun activities with them and she's always coming home with art, which I didn't expect from the baby room. We are extremely sad to leave but we are moving house and it's just too far away for us now.

Twickenham Park is a cut above other nurseries in the area, and the staff and management team have always gone way beyond expectations. The facility is great, the quality of care is excellent and the genuine care for our daughter is clearly evident in the thoughtful reports we get. She has been so happy in the baby and now toddler room. We are so sad to leave due to relocation and will miss the team so much.

Our son has been attending Twickenham Park for about 18 months now and this has been our first experience of a nursery environment. TP offers an excellent selection of activities for children (including yoga, karate and forest school) and has an abundance of resources in preschool room to prepare them for school. The staff really care about the development and needs of each child. They adopt a tailored approach to nurture each child physically, emotionally and mentally. The preparation for school and the relationships they have with local schools is really excellent. They help with other areas of family life outside the nursery too - for example the arrival of a new sibling - these small things really help bridge the gap between home and there. It's an incredibly professional and well-run nursery, they take the safety of all children as their highest priority. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

To the baby room and overall the all nursery: Our personal experience at the nursery has been truly great. As first time parents, leaving our 1st child to nursery (at 7 months) was one of the hardest things we had to do, but the nursery and baby room made it easier. We found a lot of support from all the nursery, we really appreciated the honesty (in calling us any time our daughter would have fallen or hurt herself) and the precise and detailed track of several details in the app. Thank you!

We truly had an amazing experience with the nursery and we recommend it very much! Teachers are caring and loving, the nursery has a very high degree of honesty, trust and reliability.

Our son started in the baby room at Riverside Nursery, Twickenham Park at age 10 months. As soon as we visited we were greeted with such a warm welcome from a friendly team that put our worries at ease immediately. You can truly feel how much the staff care about the babies.
Our son has a health condition and the manager was so accommodating and ensured all staff were given in-depth training on the condition in order to safeguard our little boy at nursery. It made us feel so much more comfortable and reassured us we had made the right choice.

Our baby has come on leaps and bounds since starting at nursery and has formed such a sweet bond with his key worker. The nursery has been a home away from home and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The trust, care and warmth is unmatched!

Our son (11 months) has started the nursery at Twickenham Park recently and seems very happy there. We had a great experience so far with a caring team and understanding management.
A few things we particularly like:
- That they allowed us to start with two days a week, for a smoother transition.
- The flexibility of the settling period, which was adapted to our son (due to holidays and sickness) and completed with an extra day to help him finish the transition properly.
- That they are well-staffed (1 adult for 3 babies!).
- That they tell us when new behaviour happens and discuss it.
- The diversity of the meals.

- The photos on the app.

Today is our daughter’s last day at the wonderful Twickenham Park and we are absolutely heartbroken to be leaving (we are relocating to live closer to family). Our daughter has thrived all the way through the baby, toddler, nursery and pre-school classes here and the care, support and love shown to her by staff in all rooms has been nothing short of exceptional. A real home from home.
We have always felt strongly that our daughter would learn best in an environment where her personality is allowed to shine through and where meaningful social interactions are at the heart of every learning opportunity (she’s a chatterbox, like her mother!). Twickenham Park has provided exactly this backdrop for her to explore and develop confidence away from her family in a trustworthy setting (with delicious food from the chef!).

I will always be grateful for the impact that TP has had on our daughter (as well as us as parents!) and can wholeheartedly recommend them as a fantastic start in life.

The staff at Riverside are kind and caring and I genuinely feel they have my daughter’s best interests at heart. When I ask my daughter who she played with at nursery she always names her teachers first and then some of her friends.

Following our move from abroad in October, we started our search for a temporary nursery for our 4.5-year-old daughter, who is normally at reception age. We came across Riverside Nursery Schools, Twickenham from the day nurseries website.
Nurseries normally do not accept pupils temporarily. The manager and his team were very positive when we described our needs. Our daughter spent 3 weeks in the preschool class at Riverside before her appointment to primary school, and she had great memories. As English is not her first language, having a soft start in Riverside helped her adapt to the reception a lot.

Thank you to the manager and team for your support and blending her in such a short period.

I'm leaving a review as our eldest son graduates from preschool, having joined the Twickenham Park baby room at just fifteen months old. Our second baby is still in full-time attendance with TWP.
We are extremely grateful to the entire team for how they have helped raise our son over the last three years. He has thrived in their care thanks to the nurturing and family-like environment that TWP have created. It has been a great comfort and joy to watch him flourish and build such strong bonds with so many of the staff. I have no doubt that these experiences will stay with him for life (even if subconsciously) and positively shape the person he will become in the future.

In addition to his wonderful care, the management team have been highly supportive and accommodating of any requests we've made. Quality of communication is excellent and the community of parents at this nursery is fantastic. We are sad that he has to leave and so grateful for all of the memories!

It’s tough to express how thankful I am to have found such an amazing nursery before going back to work. The settling in process was handled seamlessly by the baby room team and I can genuinely say that I went back to work with complete assurance that our baby was in good hands. He loved attending and happily acclimatised to the routine. Communication from the manager, room leaders, key people and general daily handover has been fantastic. Watching him thrive upstairs in Under 3’s room has been a joy. His interests, speech and curiosity have been encouraged endlessly. Thank you. The Chef must be some sort of wizard and the photos of meal times have always amazed me! We are relocating so having to leave and if our new nursery is half as good as Riverside Nursery, I know that he will be in good hands. We picked this nursery purely on gut feeling and a good vibe and it’s proven to have been the best decision.

Both of our daughters have been through Riverview Nursery (Twickenham Park). It's been seven years in total. We can't say enough good things about the nursery. The facilities are really great, especially since the revamp. But, that's not what makes the nursery such a great place, it's the staff. They are all absolutely lovely and many have been there for a long time. It feels like a proper family here and everyone really cares. A truly lovely bunch of people. Both our children loved their teachers at Twickenham Park. We'll all miss it for sure!

Riverside Nursery School Twickenham Park has been the most amazing place for our daughter. Every person who works there is so caring. They go above and beyond to ensure every child is loved and looked after whilst in their care.
When my daughter went through a phase of finding it hard to leave me, the staff were exceptional and did everything to ensure drop offs, for both myself and my child, were calm and happy. I felt so supported by them and it was wonderful to know that she was treated with so much kindness.

We have watched her grow in confidence and they have so helped her development at every stage too. We couldn't ask for more from a nursery!

As a fairly new, young mum, who is particularly OCD about the quality and standard of care for my child, I am deeply grateful for the love and care that my son continues to receive at Riverside Twickenham Park Nursery, who are an extended family to us. The staff at Twickenham Park all love and care for him so well, but I must give the biggest shout-out to his second mummy, who he absolutely loves and adores. She is an angel who cares in the most beautiful way and does so for all the kiddies. Not only does my son know all the educators in his room, but a majority of the other educators at the nursery, which goes to show how much of a big happy family we are. I cannot thank the nursery enough for being the best extended family. But, of course none of this would be possible if the nursery was not overseen by the manager, who is one of the warmest and kindest gentlemen, who has been very supportive to us. His kind, genuine and honest approach is replicated on the faces of all the educators, who are kept happy under his guidance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, we love you all.

We’ve been with the nursery for 3 months. The experience overall has been very positive. The staff are wonderful and caring with our daughter. Some slight bumps in the road on miscommunications and timings, especially when we first started, but overall these are very minor niggles in the bigger picture. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents.

Welcome to Twickenham Park Nursery School!

Our nursery is located very close to Richmond Bridge, in East Twickenham. Our ethos is to strive to make every day a unique experience for the children in our care. We always put the child first in everything we do, supporting them to take the lead in how they want to learn and play. We help with children’s general well-being, encourage resilience, social skills, good manners and kind choices to all. We support learning through schemes, looking at interests and patterns in play to develop confidence and skills.

We are constantly evolving, assessing and evaluating our practice by looking at ‘Intent’, ‘Implementation’ and ‘Impact’. We give children the best possible start in their early education and by using the seven areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage we help the children experience the awe and wonder of the world in which they live, we make sure our children are ‘school ready’ when they leave, and we prepare them for their future success by sharing essential knowledge through cultural capital and by building activities around the children’s interests. We are a community nursery and a home from home for all who attend and are often described by parents as ‘an extension of their family’.

We encourage British values and welcome and celebrate cultures from around the world. We explore and investigate with a hands-on approach, understanding that experience and practice are key to developing a secure understanding. We pride ourselves in our provision of exciting activities such as Yoga, Karate, Ballet, Music and trips out, including swimming, visits to a forest park, the theatre and local care homes.

Every practitioner here is valued, and their opinions and well-being are always considered. We take care of our staff and, as a result, most stay for five to ten years.

Please feel free to contact me with your questions, or better still, organise a visit to our wonderful nursery. I look forward to meeting you and your child.
