Since my daughter started, my wife and I have seen such a dramatic change in her social and communication skills. This is all down to the wonderful teaching, care and support she has received at the nursery. The staff are always so attentive and receptive to our needs and ensure that my daughter is

All of the staff at Sunnyfields are friendly and positive. They engage and communicate well with my son and us as parents.
We like that the nursery does a wide variety of daily activities, which our son enjoys.
We also like the various activities throughout the year, eg the Christmas play/party
and the Summer Fair too.
It’s a lovely nursery and both of our sons have been happy there.

Sunnyfields is an amazing place for little ones, with such a welcoming atmosphere, brilliant staff, and a real family feel. My kids have extra needs, and the nursery team tailors their approach to suit their abilities and makes them feel part of everything at the same time. Their development has really
accelerated since starting at Sunnyfields, and I know they are in great hands when I drop them off. Oh, and the food is great too. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Our 18-month-old daughter absolutely loves going to Sunnyfields and has felt settled and part of the family from day one. She has come on leaps and bounds since joining just before her first birthday, and in six months has started to walk, uttered her first words (now saying the names of her friends
and nursery staff!) and has tried so many different activities and meals that we would never have been able to do at home. I love seeing her photos and videos on the app (we'd love more!) as they make my day.
The ability to see what she has been eating and getting up to on the app is very helpful for our own meal planning at home, and the team genuinely cares and listens about what she gets up to at the weekends so they can talk about it at nursery. She clearly adores the staff, and it makes us, as parents, feel very safe in the knowledge that she is having a wonderful time. We particularly love the variety of food and the size of the classes.

Very nice developing environment for kids. Very dedicated team with lots of patience and kindness but also firmness and discipline. We appreciate that our kid is in a place where he can play, learn, and have fun but also learn rules. We also like that children are learning how to support and help each
other. Good combination of outdoor and indoor activities. Always feedback from the team. Food seems healthy. Nice initiatives like the books that children can take home, the show and tale, and the sport. The Christmas party was very nice. Looks like different learning projects are done with children. We just regret that we don't have too often pictures on the app. All staff were very friendly. Expensive though, especially as the rate increased again after a recent increase already.

I couldn’t be happier with Sunnyfields. My eldest son attended Sunnyfields from 2017-2021 until he started school. I continue to have two children at the nursery in the preschool and babies' rooms. The staff are child-focused, and above all, kind and caring. They really get to know each child for who
they are and work incredibly hard to ensure all children feel safe and flourish. The staff are clearly happy and loyal - the manager, deputy manager, and third in charge have been there our whole 5.5 years. The wonderful cook deserves a special mention - she cooks wonderful food and accommodates my children's complex allergies. The set-up in a large house with lots of natural light and outdoor space is lovely, and it feels like an environment for the children - a home from home. The nursery has a strong community feel and organises regular family and staff events, attends the local church and library and does local walks. This is a special place. 100% recommended.

Our daughter is very happy at Sunnfields Day Nursery Bromley. She is always excited to go in the morning. She has developed strong bonds with the staff and close friendships with the other children. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Really good environment and team.

Both of our children have been to Sunnyfields Day Nursery Bromley, and both love it! Our eldest has now gone off to school and still talks fondly of her time at Sunnyfields, and our youngest is still there, having started at the age of 11 months old.
Always greeted with a smile at the door in the
mornings and evenings and feel very confident we’re leaving our kids in safe hands.
Good food is given at meal times and loads of great activities for them during the day.
The staff are all so nice and seem to genuinely enjoy their work.
We’ve recommended it to friends who have chosen to join from other nurseries, and they’re really pleased they did.

Can't recommend Sunnyfields enough! Set in a beautiful building - three large rooms even baby room with it. Unlike many other nurseries I had seen, even the baby room with its adjoining sleeping room and own outdoor area. Loved that the rooms weren't really heavily occupied. The rooms are clean, full
of amazing toys, activities, arts and craft equipment which kept my children really entertained throughout the day. Great large rear garden with climbing frames and tunnels, mud kitchen and ride on toys and trikes etc. Amazing care from a stable and close-knit team. Real ‘family’ feel and personal touch. Thank you so much to the Manager and the team for looking after my three! Go visit, you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter has attended Sunnyfields since April 2018 when she just turned one. She has loved every minute and I have never found it so easy to leave her knowing she is in good hands and enjoying her days! She has an amazing keyworker and the nursery are very attentive when we may need extra days and
sessions. She is showing above target in a lot of areas and I strongly believe this is with the help of Sunnyfields. Thank you so much!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hello, my name is Lisa, and I am the Nursery Manager at Kindred Shortlands. I have been working in the Early Years since 2001 and have worked at this nursery since 2013 where I started as the Deputy Manager before becoming Manager in 2016. I hold a Level 3 Diploma & NVQ in Early Years Care and Education and both a Level 3 & 5 in Management and Leadership.


I have a real passion for Early Years and the importance of creating an environment where the children are happy, confident, thriving and inspired through ‘awe and wonder’ while also creating strong parent partnerships where a parent/carer feels part of their child’s journey with us and are confident leaving their children.


Also important to me and alongside my staff team is creating a homely feel for the children and their families as well as a working environment for the staff team where all are welcomed to be their individual selves and are encouraged and supported to achieve their career goals.

Hi, I'm Nasima, and I started work at Kindred Shortlands in August 2025.


I have been working in the Early Years sector since 2011. During this time, I have progressed from a Level 3 practitioner into more senior roles in various nurseries and now as the Deputy Manager at Kindred Shortlands.


I have had the pleasure of working with all age groups from babies and toddlers up to pre-school children. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable skills and enjoy working with children of all ages. I find it deeply rewarding to watch them grow and thrive and develop their own personalities. I also have a passion for creating a nurturing, supportive and engaging environment where each child can flourish.


I enjoy being in the company of children, and I have two of my own, and from this personal experience, I know how important it is as a parent to work in partnership with the setting. Having this knowledge has led me to enjoy establishing close parent partnerships through organising many opportunities for parents to get involved in their own children's nursery experiences.
