Kindred Shortlands Nursery and Pre-school

Really love this nursery. We’ve used three other nurseries for our child care; one quite fancy looking, one quite basic and now Sunnyfields. The staff here are cheerful and bright; they talk to you as a parent in a human way, whereas elsewhere, we found hand-overs pretty robotic/copy-paste or unreliably vague. They really engage with our son and take the time to show him all sorts of new things to do and foods to taste. For us, the place is full of heart, our son skips in each day, and I couldn’t recommend it strongly enough.

Sunnyfields is a lovely nursery where the staff are caring, and the children are happy. My daughter’s confidence has grown so much since joining 1.5 years ago, and she happily marches in on nursery days, excited to see friends

My daughter loves preschool. She's been attending Sunnyfields for two years now, and I couldn't imagine her being anywhere else. We love everyone here; they are so friendly and kind.

Since my daughter started, my wife and I have seen such a dramatic change in her social and communication skills. This is all down to the wonderful teaching, care and support she has received at the nursery. The staff are always so attentive and receptive to our needs and ensure that my daughter is thriving. We are so happy that we chose to send our daughter here.

Sunnyfields is an amazing place for little ones, with such a welcoming atmosphere, brilliant staff, and a real family feel. My kids have extra needs, and the nursery team tailors their approach to suit their abilities and makes them feel part of everything at the same time. Their development has really accelerated since starting at Sunnyfields, and I know they are in great hands when I drop them off. Oh, and the food is great too. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Very nice developing environment for kids. Very dedicated team with lots of patience and kindness but also firmness and discipline. We appreciate that our kid is in a place where he can play, learn, and have fun but also learn rules. We also like that children are learning how to support and help each other. Good combination of outdoor and indoor activities. Always feedback from the team. Food seems healthy. Nice initiatives like the books that children can take home, the show and tale, and the sport. The Christmas party was very nice. Looks like different learning projects are done with children. We just regret that we don't have too often pictures on the app. All staff were very friendly. Expensive though, especially as the rate increased again after a recent increase already.

I couldn’t be happier with Sunnyfields. My eldest son attended Sunnyfields from 2017-2021 until he started school. I continue to have two children at the nursery in the preschool and babies' rooms. The staff are child-focused, and above all, kind and caring. They really get to know each child for who they are and work incredibly hard to ensure all children feel safe and flourish. The staff are clearly happy and loyal - the manager, deputy manager, and third in charge have been there our whole 5.5 years. The wonderful cook deserves a special mention - she cooks wonderful food and accommodates my children's complex allergies. The set-up in a large house with lots of natural light and outdoor space is lovely, and it feels like an environment for the children - a home from home. The nursery has a strong community feel and organises regular family and staff events, attends the local church and library and does local walks. This is a special place. 100% recommended.

Our daughter is very happy at Sunnfields Day Nursery Bromley. She is always excited to go in the morning. She has developed strong bonds with the staff and close friendships with the other children. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we are very satisfied.

All of the staff are fantastic and supportive. The child is very happy to go to nursery each day and has formed some really close bonds with children and carers alike.

We’ve recommended it to friends who have chosen to join from other nurseries, and they’re really pleased they did.

Can't recommend Sunnyfields enough! Set in a beautiful building - three large rooms even baby room with it. Unlike many other nurseries I had seen, even the baby room with its adjoining sleeping room and own outdoor area. Loved that the rooms weren't really heavily occupied. The rooms are clean, full of amazing toys, activities, arts and craft equipment which kept my children really entertained throughout the day. Great large rear garden with climbing frames and tunnels, mud kitchen and ride on toys and trikes etc. Amazing care from a stable and close-knit team. Real ‘family’ feel and personal touch. Thank you so much to the Manager and the team for looking after my three! Go visit, you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter has attended Sunnyfields since April 2018 when she just turned one. She has loved every minute and I have never found it so easy to leave her knowing she is in good hands and enjoying her days! She has an amazing keyworker and the nursery are very attentive when we may need extra days and sessions. She is showing above target in a lot of areas and I strongly believe this is with the help of Sunnyfields. Thank you so much!
