Wonderful environment for a baby to become a confident, kind, social and curious toddler! My daughter has been in Living Spring Montessori Day Nursery since she was six months. She is now two and a half and still there. It was recommended by friends who had a fantastic experience there with their own kids. The facilities are beautiful and extremely clean, the staff highly skilled and provide excellent care, love and support for your kids' growth and development. The food is homemade by a chef in-house making excellent balanced meals. Childcare, activities and communication are top with the team. Also, diversity is a topic they embrace in their activities with kids and they really make efforts to adapt to the neurodiversity of infants. My daughter loves going there and talks about her carers a lot. Thank you to the whole team for making my kid the great toddler she became!
Great nursery! Teachers are so warm, lovely and very friendly. The little boy I'm looking after goes to this nursery every day from when he was 6 months and now he's almost 3 years old! Very clean and safe environment for them too!
Some improvement to the management and admin sides of things could be done but this is the only minor downside.
Exceptional place, run by exceptional people. We searched a lot before finding a nursery for our son and when we visited Living Spring Montessori Day Nursery we knew right away our search was over. The space is big, full of light and spotlessly clean. Their activities are fun but they also have the goal of making the little ones independent. You can clearly see the mark of the Montessori approach. The teachers helped us in understanding a lot about the development of our son and are always caring and supportive. It really is a great environment and our son always run into school happy, which is the most important thing. Plus it's family run. And it's clear how much they care for it. My wife and I are super happy and definitely recommend it.
I have been particularly impressed with the efforts made which go 'above and beyond' the primary role of looking after children and giving them meaningful activities to do on a day-to-day basis. For example, an immensely complicated and enjoyable Christmas play (and party), which captured the children's imaginations; a summer outdoors party in the local park, with well-organised food, drink and games; a session for parents on child safety issues... the list goes on!
I've had great experience with my eldest here which is why we didn't think twice in sending our youngest to this nursery.
My little girl started Living Spring Montessori since 2019 and she has enjoyed everyday at the nursery. The staff are brilliant and the food is lovely. I would definitely recommend Living Spring to anyone looking for a nursery.
Living Spring is a great nursery with very attentive and friendly staff, my son absolutely loves going there. He has a great friendship group and has become a happy, confident and independent toddler.
We're big fans of Living Spring, having sent our first child there in 2013, our second in 2015 and our third started there at six months in 2021. Throughout that time Living Spring has remained a haven of calm and love and each child is respected and nurtured. Communication on a day-to-day level with the teachers is excellent and the nursery tries hard to build an inclusive and cohesive community with the parents. Over the years our children's key teacher has given us the time and resources to help with specific issues, reassure us and help us develop our toolkits as parents. The proof of the pudding is the day-to-day happiness of the children while there, and the outcomes: our daughter started at Primary School being able to independently read 'chapter books' and is now interviewing at the top secondary schools in London. I would have no hesitation in recommending Living Spring.
She absolutely loves the teachers, the staff and of course the food and she feels comfortable around the nursery which gives us the reinsure that she's well looked after. We are glad that she spends lots of time in her day in a nice, safe, educational and fun place. Not to forget to mention the amazing app that allows us insight into her day, including naps and meals and also allows us to see what activities they undertake. 5 stars all around and thanks for the wonderful experience up until now!
My child started at Living Spring three days a week in Oct 2022, and we have had a very good experience. The staff are lovely, and there's a real feeling of family. They have been accommodating when my plans have changed - times when I said we wouldn't be in the nursery that day but then at the last minute, I've been able to send my child for an afternoon. I get good updates in the app, daily updates for food, sleep, nappies and milk and then weekly updates with photos and videos of what they have been up to. In general, we are very happy with Living Spring and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot for their child.
A lovely nursery that we are proud to send our son to, knowing that he is well looked after and happy! He settled in very quickly and loves coming into the nursery and seeing all the smiley and welcoming faces of all the staff members here.
This is a wonderful community nursery. My two children are very happy at the nursery and benefit from the caring nature of the staff. The nursery has a really fantastic educational programme and both my boys have learnt a lot, from basics e.g. using a spoon to putting on their own coats. The children also enjoy the extra activities including Christmas Concerts, Mother's Day afternoon tea and Father's Day picnic.
I was very nervous leaving my children at first, but I need not have worried, this nursery is fantastic. The staff were reassuring and give lots of feedback as to what they have been up to. All the children are well-mannered and well-behaved, learning to respect each other and the activities that they undertake. A fantastic foundation for the future.
Very happy with this nursery. Extremely supportive and friendly staff who have helped me and my 15-month-old settle. I am very comfortable leaving him while I go to work knowing he is safe, cared for and really seems to be having a great time. It truly is an asset to have in the community.
All three of my children have attended Living Spring from six months to four years old and we couldn't be happier with it. The most caring calm and incredible place. The teachers are so experienced and loving, we adore the owners and the food is healthy and prepared by a top chef. We will miss it very much once our youngest leaves!
We could not be more delighted to have found Living Spring. Since our son began there at 19 months old, he has grown leaps and bounds in his interaction with others, his communication, his independence and his capacity for learning. The teachers and staff are second to none and we feel completely comfortable knowing he loves his time there, he is in safe and trusted hands and he is getting a magnificent Montessori education. The app allows us insight into his day, his naps and meals and also allows us to see what activities they undertake. It is truly a remarkable nursery and we could not be happier with our decision to join the Living Spring community.
Our little boy started at Living Spring when he was around one year old, and he is now two and a half and still loves to go there every day. We have seen how he has grown so much in confidence being surrounded by teachers and kids, with the ability to remember all their names, eating confidently and independently, counting, and singing many songs independently, and potty training support just to name a few.
Furthermore, they always have extraordinary events like fathers days party, celebrations of various cultural events, Christmas party etc.
Staff is excellent, so caring yet focussed on their health, interests and development.
The nursery provides a wide range of development toys/widgets and have a lovely outdoor space for all age groups.
Quarterly parent/teacher meetings as well as their app are great ways of staying on top of your child's progression.
Very lovely also is that the nursery is right next to Gladstone Park where they take them to regularly.
I would highly recommend Living Spring.
Very happy with Living Spring. Our 1.5 year old loves going there and we feel that she spends her days in a caring, happy and nurturing environment. The teachers often share observation pictures via the app and provide daily updates about her daily activities and general well-being.
We are very lucky to have found this gem of a nursery in our neighbourhood. From the moment we first walked in, we knew that this was the place for our baby boy. Gorgeous facilities, with high-ceiling rooms and loads of space, equipped with a great variety of learning tools for the children to explore, play and learn. Spotless clean and so warm and welcoming! The owners and staff are kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very experienced and take great interest in each child, their interests, preferences and learning progress. They encourage the children to be independent, to learn through play and to explore various themes and cultures by organizing events and celebrations. Also, our son loves the nutritious (and delicious) food cooked every day on the premises. Overall, this nursery provides top-class early years education and care - we can see our son learn new things all the time and above all, he is so happy to be going there every morning!
My daughter has been at the nursery for over six months and she is very happy. They got to know her very well and she is really enjoying the activities that keep her interested and help her development too. I really appreciate the daily feedback and the really friendly atmosphere. I feel she is in a very safe and nurturing environment where is well looked after and learning a lot.
