The Old Station Nursery Uxbridge

Everyone at the nursery is really kind and caring. Excellent infrastructure and great service. We have noticed a significant improvement in our baby’s development. We get regular updates through the app and staff.

A truly brilliant setting where they absolutely care for the children as their own. So impressed with the team and how they support my child. I just love how my daughter talks about her favourite person (key person) at home. From the door, in person, over the phone and via email, they are always responsive and genuinely consider and take on board all feedback. The way they greet my child with love just cannot be matched. Food is excellent, my daughter is always talking about what the chef makes and thoroughly enjoys taking part in Big Chef Mini Chef with him weekly, making spring rolls and other delicious foods! Not only this, the nursery have a programme of wonderful additional activities like yoga and sports and resident gerbils who we can take home for the weekend. A warm, cosy and friendly setting full to the brim with magnificent people.

The team at The Old Station Nursery are fantastic, very accommodating and extremely friendly. It’s a fantastic nursery, my daughter absolutely loves going as she gets to do a wide variety of activities which helps her development but ensures she is having fun at the same time.

I am really happy with the level of care and learning provided at the nursery. My children are so happy to go to nursery and love all the staff. Whenever I have needed to discuss anything with staff, they have always been accommodating. I would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter did well at the nursery and my son is now doing well too. I do wish they took literally a couple of minutes to briefly explain to us the activities of the day at pick up time, as quickly reading them off a whiteboard is not the same. Oftentimes, carers just hand over the kids and very quickly mention what they ate and that's about it. There is a carer that I used to see a lot more (I guess her schedule changed) that does spend some extra time talking to parents about their kids at drop off time and I used to love that. She seems so attentive and caring to the children. When it comes to food, from what I'm told at pick up, it seems to consist of a lot of bread, pasta, toast and other cheaper carbs, so that's one thing I'd also change.

We are very pleased with the nursery's high standards, exceptional cooperative staff and professionalism of the nursery. They have been very supportive since our son joined the nursery. He has learned a lot and we see quite a positive impact on his personality since he joined. Thank you.

The nursery, and the staff, are frankly, exceptional. In inestimably difficult circumstances with a national context of doubt and change, they have consistently provided a joyously positive and nurturing environment for our daughter. Our daughter is happy to go and happy when she comes home, and talks constantly about her friends from nursery - perhaps the most wonderful thing being that “friend” encompasses staff and students. Thank you for everything - you are amazing.

I have known this Nursery for quite some years as our five-year-old went here for some years and his little brother 2.5 years is currently enrolled. Can't praise highly enough as my older boy goes back with us and loves to see his teachers and hug them, very very professional yet family feeling Nursery. Care and attention given is first class and my boy who moved to school comments that the food was better at nursery! The little one adores it and looks forward to going in with his development speeding ahead, this we can see but is also documented and shared with us constantly. The only Nursery I would use and recommend without hesitation.

My daughter absolutely loves attending the nursery. She shares a lovely relationship with all the team members. Every day she learns something new, she enjoys taking part in all the activities indoors and outdoors.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 3-year-old daughter, who just loves the nursery. She, in fact, will tell family and friends how excited she is to be at the nursery. Since day one, she is always happy to attend. We found the management and staff very attentive, caring, helpful, and passionate about their job, and this reflects on our daughter, who is blooming in confidence. I also found that they are transparent and honest by telling you every detail in the event of an incident.

We believe the diet is well adapted and there is enough of veggies and fruits, as well as lower sugar policy, has been made. We get a clear handover and knowledge about activities and kids performance during the day.

Rooms are freshly renovated and everything is very accessible for the kids. They have a cosy area to read books, draw or play whenever they feel like it.

To top it off kids have had a chance to see hatching ducklings over the Easter period to see the cycle of life and introduce them to basic animal care responsibilities.

Overall I would highly recommend it.

Excellent nursery!! All members of staff are really nice, friendly and polite. My son has been at The Old Station Nursery since he was 2-years-old, and he was always really well taken care of. There is a big range of activities that they do, and the facilities are great. A very good place for your child's development and safety.

New learning activities are set every day with different resources and materials. This makes the nursery a fun and safe place where children can learn and have lots of fun.

She really enjoys her time spent in the nursery with her favourite carers and her best friends. She had a wonderful 4-year birthday party in the nursery. She has always been taken very good care of. She loves huge hugs for jer key worker and the two cutest pigtails they always wear! I would like to say great thanks to all staff in the nursery, taking advantage of this chance.
