Premier Lodge Day Nursery

Our daughter has attended Premier Lodge nursery since March 2018 and we highly recommend it. When we initially viewed it, we liked that it's family-run, friendly with lots of activities and they also have a resident cook with a great varied weekly menu. Our daughter has moved up through 3 of the rooms and each is perfectly suited to her stage; she absolutely loves going and learns so much. She has great fun every day and we love to see updates on the daily app which they have available which includes details of naps, meals, etc. The management and nursery assistants are all friendly, approachable and very responsive to queries. Also, we've been very reassured about how they have dealt with Covid and safety practices. We will be sad when our daughter leaves to start school next year!

A fun-filled caring nursery to whom have been caring for my two children beautifully (aged 4 and 1). It's always tricky deciding where to place your children and this was especially so for me as my eldest child has additional needs and an EHCP. It has never phased the staff and they couldn't do more in terms of progressing my daughter like they have. Lots of fun activities, great themed days, well-equipped toys, sensory room, arts and crafts galore, nursery mobile app and lovely home cooking to name a few out of the many benefits. It really is a stand-alone nursery with such happy children, parents and attentive staff.

My eldest son left nursery for school in August and my youngest son started in this nursery aged 10 months and is now in the oldest room, getting ready to start school in September. The fact we have been with this nursery for four years says a lot. The nursery has the most homely feel of any in the area, the rooms are bright, light and full of fun. Both my boys took a while to settle in but the team could not have done more to put us all at ease and keep us constantly updated with pictures of them smiling throughout the day. They’ve both made some great friends during their time here. When we’ve faced more tricky situations - such as having a speech and language SENCO involved for my eldest, the nursery were fully supportive implementing a plan and he started school non-stop chatting as a result. I’ll be sad to leave Premier Lodge.

Amazing! My daughter went to a different nursery and I can honestly say the difference in her is absolutely astounding since she joined Premier Lodge. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds - I nearly fell over when she described Rapunzel as a lovely young lady with long golden hair (she’s only 2!). They’ve worked with me on potty training and have answered any question I’ve asked in relation to development. She adores going to nursery and spends most of her days dressed as Elsa taking part in a massive range of activities. The outdoor area is a brilliant part of their provision. When I collect my daughter and ask her how her day was she always tells me she’s had fun. The staff are absolutely lovely and keep me updated throughout the day via an app. I get pictures and updates on eating and sleeping. When I had to isolate they set her two packs of activities including colouring pencils and checked if we needed anything. Moving her to Premier Lodge was the best thing I’ve ever done.

My daughter has been attending Premier Lodge since September 2020. Starting during Covid was never an easy thing however my daughter and I have been supported throughout. I have felt so at ease handing her over, she always comes out extremely happy and cannot wait to go back in. Not only is it a family nursery, it feels like you are part of a little community. I couldn't recommend them any more!

My daughter started with this nursery about a year ago, she is loving her time in the nursery and I strongly recommend this nursery for its great support in Childcare and Early Years learning journey. The staff here are loving and very approachable; affectionately children call them "aunties/uncles" and that makes bonding very easy for children with their teachers. My daughter learned so much here, I am very happy with her development; be it playing in the child play area, interaction, learning about manners etc. She has become very confident due to the support received at nursery. The management is very good, always ready to answer the queries and I would recommend this nursery setting to prospective parents. During the lockdown and months after, we felt we were supported very much, nursery took all the possible steps for setting to remain open for children so their learning continues.

My twins joined the nursery last year and I am so happy with their growth. They have learnt so many new things and their vocabulary has increased. I am happy with the nursery routine. All staff members are very professional and friendly.

Amazing nursery, my son is 2 and he loves going there. He is so advanced attending Premier Lodge. All my friends and family compliment on how advanced he is and happy. Couldn’t fault the nursery at all.

A wonderfully kind, supportive and most importantly loving nursery. They do a huge range of activities, time in the garden and small trips out of the nursery. Lovely regular updates throughout the day on the app. The managers know all the children by name and are always accessible. A great mix of older and younger staff too who all bring different skills. Having had my older child at other nurseries I can wholeheartedly recommend Premier Lodge.

The care my two children receive at Premier Lodge is second to none. They both have wonderful relationships with their “aunties” and really look forward to their nursery days. The rooms are lovely and bright, always decorated with the children’s artwork. The nursery usually have people come in each week to do special activities with the children, such as sing-alongs and gymnastics. The staff are all so kind and friendly, I cannot fault them at all!

Absolutely outstanding! We are new to Premier Lodge, our daughter started in January. The manager was amazing in the lead up to her starting; guiding and supporting us in every step of the way. The team are phenomenal, they keep us updated throughout the day via their app, we get pictures, a log of what she is doing, what she has eaten, nap times etc. We can message the carers directly whilst she is there and they will message back straight away. The activities and development they provide is brilliant, every day she is doing something different, exploring and learning new things, after just two weeks she was sitting up better, clapping her hands, nodding her head and interacting so much more. Her face lights up when her carer answers the door in the mornings, we feel so privileged that she gets to attend such a wonderful nursery, we actually feel bad on the days she doesn’t get to go!

My 2 year old daughter has been at Premier Lodge since September 2020 and she has flourished. She amazes me every time she comes home with the new things she has learned and the stories she has to tell me about her day. She has settled in so well that she actually asks to go to “school” and really loves the “Aunties” in her room. My partner and I love how much the staff communicate about both my daughter's day and progress and the whole class as well. The app they use is brilliant and I love getting an update with what she’s up to that day along with a photo. The menus are great and have helped me to discover new foods to give my daughter and knowing what she’s eaten and how much helps me plan at home. We would absolutely recommend Premier Lodge. It’s a wonderful nursery.

Lovely, caring staff, my child always looks forward to going to the nursery and she speaks about the activities she has done. Children learn new words, songs all the time and the social and emotional well-being seems to be a priority while they are progressing in all the different developmental area.

We have been attending Premier Lodge for over 2 years now and I can not recommend them highly enough. My son has come on so well here and I will be so sorry to leave when he goes to primary school. He is constantly learning and having fun inside and outside which he loves, he loves all the staff and is very excited on his nursery days. I feel like they really put the children first and constantly keep them entertained. Definitely put Premier Lodge on your list of nurseries to choose for your child; you won't be disappointed.

I have no hesitation in recommending Premier Lodge. I have a 6-year-old son who started at 9 months old and attended right through until he started school. We now have twins who attend and love it. The manager and the staff have been excellent from day one. It's a lovely friendly nursery where my children are learning and socialising at the same time.

My daughter started at Premier Lodge at 7-months-old and only left recently just before her third birthday. She absolutely loved her time here, and I can not recommend it enough. My reason for moving her was purely down to location as we recently moved. The staff here are so kind and really care about the children, they are affectionately known as ‘aunties’, and my daughter learned so much here and is really advanced for her age, which I put down to having been in a supportive nursery environment from a young age. It was hard to return to work when she was only 7-months, but I always felt reassured that the ‘aunties’ would take great care of her. The manager and her team are great, and I would honestly really recommend the setting for anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

Brilliant staff, great management. You can tell the owners and management take great care into the nursery, there’s always happy faces when dropping my son off. He’s always coming home with different pictures and crafts. Always getting updates on an app to see what his been doing all day and if he’s eaten things.

Our daughter is really happy here, she loves all the ladies in Piglet Room and is always excited to go in. The manager is so caring and lovely, the staff arrange lots of events and send regular updates and messages. We're so happy we chose this nursery for our little girl!

The staff at the nursery are so caring and friendly. The ladies in the baby room were so supportive, in helping my little man settle in and helping me feel ok to leave leave him and return to work. After a short time, he would get so excited to go and reach out for cuddles from staff when he arrived. I’m so pleased I found this nursery, little man has now gone up to a new room and seems to be settling again. They do different stuff in each room and really support them to develop and be happy. I can’t fault them!

My boys started Premier Lodge at 11 months old, 4 days per week. They both love it there - the staff are friendly and kind and they have a huge range of activities on offer for all the different ages. The nursery has a lovely garden with lots of outdoor toys, a climbing frame/slide, and a pet rabbit that the children help to feed and care for.

They have a wide variety of external 'teachers' that come in to deliver activities for the children: music and singing, storytelling and drama, sports/gymnastics and even French language for the oldest kids. Both of my boys have developed very strong bonds with the staff during their time at the nursery. The food is healthy and home-cooked onsite by the nursery cook. Staff were helpful and supportive when it came to potty training. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. Go and have a look round!
