Premier Lodge Day Nursery is a setting that provides a true home from home environment. Founded in 1966, the nursery is family run and has been for three generations.

Each child is unique and staff at the nursery take pride in the quality of care and education they provide. They work closely with parents to ensure that each child attending Premier Lodge has every opportunity to thrive and flourish.

The nursery is conveniently located and is only a couple of minutes walk from Sidcup Station and major bus routes.

The nursery itself is located over two buildings and has its own secure garden plus Fores School area.

Our daughter has attended Premier Lodge since she was fourteen months old and over the last three and a half years that she has been here she has loved every day, her confidence has grown so much and she has made some wonderful friendships.
The staff are all so lovely and have helped our daughter to
settle into each new room and have helped her get ready for starting school in September. The app the nursery use is really good as they update this each day with lovely pictures to show the children enjoying themselves with the activities they have taken part in.

I was so nervous to be sending my first baby to nursery before he turned one but I needn't have worried. The nursery has such a nice family feel to it and the staff are all so lovely.
The app they use is amazing! Being able to easily check in on him and receive real-time updates on his day (including
nappy changes, meals/snacks, naps and photos of am and pm activities) is just priceless and so reassuring.
My son has some dietary requirements which I was concerned about as I didn't want him to feel the odd one out but he has pretty much the same as other children, just tweaked to suit his needs which I'm so grateful for. He loves the food at nursery and always eats so well - often better than he does at home!
The facilities are clean, with a lovely garden area and a soft playroom. With those and the variety of activities the nursery provides, there must be very little time for boredom even with a toddler's attention span.

Both my son and daughter have attended/attend premier lodge. In the four years, we have been using the nursery we have seen them thrive and gain confidence. The nursery offers not only a place to play and meet new friends but it provides a range of extra activities including little kickers, jo jingles,
and trips out to places such as the library and fire station. It is also great at embracing all culture's seasonal celebrations. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They provide a great selection of food and support with all developmental stages such as potty training and starting school. I couldn’t think of a better place for both my children to have started their educational journeys.

My son attended Premier Lodge Nursery for three years. The nursery provided him with the best early years experience possible. We found we had great support with our child who was born prematurely. The nursery supported him with his eating, potting training, speech development and more recently preparation
to start school. Premier Lodge is great at embracing seasonal activities during Christmas, Easter, etc. These activities also encourage parents to be involved too. Premier Lodge gives children experience beyond just the nursery setting i.e. trips to the theatre and Fire Brigade Station. The nursery not only supported our son but also us as a family. This was all made possible due to the friendly and approachable staff at the nursery.

Premier Lodge Day Nursery is an excellent nursery that has a great team of teachers. My daughter had thoroughly enjoyed her time at this nursery. Garden and play area are very good. Overall, the nursery is very well managed.

My son attended this nursery last year and left at the end of August for Primary school. My son is currently being assessed for Autism, non-verbal and very young for his age. I was very nervous about placing him into preschool but putting him into this nursery was the best thing for him. All his teachers
adored him, went the extra mile for him and went with his pace. He loved going in, he adored his teachers and this nursery was his happy place. It brought out the best in him. The teachers here are supportive and care very deeply for the children and parents. This nursery has been a huge support, helping him transition into primary school. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. Amazing little place!

The personal growth, joy and speech improvements we have seen in our two year old are great! He started when he was nineteen months old. We visited a few nurseries but when we had the phone conversation with the head office at the nursery, we could already see how caring and attentive they were. We
called up a few times asking so many questions and they always replied to us with the same care and showed understanding. Once we visited in person we knew this was the place for us. The team, staff and head office honestly make you feel like your child is the only one in the nursery. My mind is put at ease and they help in every aspect. Our son was not used to being around other children due to lockdown. The staff have helped him immensely in nursery as well as given tips for how we can be consistent with these methods at home. He is now in his second room out of five rooms and genuinely, he can’t get enough of this nursery and all the garden fun, creative activities and in house cooking. Awesome!

My little boy has now been with the nursery for 2.5 years. He has come on so much in confidence. Staff are really helpful and very friendly. Office is always available and will do anything they can to help. During lockdown, my little boy found it difficult settling back in and being around groups of
people again. However, the nursery helped him settle back in and he now loves nursery more than ever. During lockdown 3, we stayed home as this was easier for us, however, he has now returned as he kept asking to see friends and aunties. They always do a wide variety of tasks and activities all of which my little boy says he enjoys. I love getting the daily updates through the app and find them really helpful. Overall I couldn't imagine him being at another nursery or loving it as much as he does at Premier Lodge.

My little one has been at Premier Lodge for 3 months now, and it’s only been positive! He’s in full-time, which was a huge worry considering he’d obviously not had any time apart from us due to lockdowns, but the team were brilliant for settling him in; they were really positive and great at communication.
The app the nursery uses is just great for keeping you informed, and all the staff including management are just so helpful and approachable. What drew us to it was the feeling of it being a smaller, family feeling nursery, and it’s really continued to be that.

My eldest has attended Premier Lodge since January 2020 and my youngest for 2 months. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they let us know what happens in the nursery through the Famly app. Kids are always happy when I pick them up. My eldest loves his meals and he always describes them as “ yummy
food”. Also, I am thankful to the staff that has made a big difference in my child’s speech, making him more confident, and developing their brain with the activities done in the nursery. A big thanks to all the staff that are doing their best to make sure our kids are happy and safe.

So far 2 of my children have attended Premier Lodge and my 3rd is set to go soon. All started from 1 year old and my two sons love it. The staff are friendly and caring - they provide an atmosphere that children feel safe and happy in. The setting is creative with activities - my children have cooked,
danced, been on trips, sung, been in plays, coloured, drawn, read, role played, painted, tried new foods, made so many crafts and the list goes on. All staff are very approachable and take the time to get to know the children. We get regular updates in the forms of pictures, descriptions and formal observations all easily accessed by the app, which is used effectively by the nursery. I would have no trouble recommending this nursery to others. My kids love it!

Premier Lodge is a great nursery. They are dedicated to their children, they show initiative with planning fun activities and the children make progress! My daughter has been going to Premier Lodge for nearly a year and she loves it! She knows all the staff and every morning guesses who is going to
come to the door to get her! I am probably one of the fussiest parents, but the staff and management are always ready to deal with my worries, concerns and issues that I have and it is never too much trouble! I think Premier Lodge is definitely one of the best decision I have made for my daughter; she has made leaps and bounds with her speech and her independence and these are all detailed in the pictures and observations that are sent through! Honestly, couldn't fault them for all that they do, and I would recommend the nursery and the staff to anyone!

Both my children attend this nursery and I can say nothing but brilliant things about them. My youngest started in December and they made such efforts to make me feel supported as we started him during a pandemic and I was unable to attend settling in sessions with him. My eldest son has a speech delay
and until attending Premier Lodge from September 2020, I felt very lost and didn’t know what to do to support him. The SENCO is so passionate and knowledgable about helping parents and children navigate their way through to get the support they need. We feel that we have made absolutely the right decision of where to send our children, and lucky that the entire team at the nursery are all wonderful!

My son attends this nursery and has loved it from the very first day. He has learnt so much, his speech is fantastic and he amazes us with new skills constantly. He is very fond of the Aunties and has made great friends. The nursery has an app that updates us throughout the day and we can also send
messages to check on anything we might need to know. The staff have our full trust in their capabilities and we feel secure leaving him each day knowing how happy he is.

I cannot fault the nursery. My daughter has been here since she was 10 months old and has moved up 4 rooms. In each and every one of the rooms, the staff have been so kind, caring and warm and my daughter has flourished here. The pictures we get sent and their learning journals are something I look
forward to each day and when I pick her up, quite often she doesn’t want to leave! She has grown so much and a lot of that is down to the staff here. The activities are endless and my daughter's knowledge and learning has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are always there for the parents if we need them too! Thank you, Premier Lodge.

My twins have been going to Premier Lodge for around 8 months now and they love it there. Always ask when they’ll be going next to see their “friends”. They’ve also started to ask after their Aunties which is really lovely. We receive updates throughout the day, pictures too, which is great. Would highly

Our little one started at this nursery when she was 11 months old and she's been loving it there! Aunties send us 2 picture updates each day about their activities and record their eat and sleep promptly on the app too. Sometimes she will surprise us at home with a new skill that she probably picked
up from the nursery, which is great! Staff there are very friendly. On some of my pickups, I have seen kids that don't want to leave the nursery to go home with their parents, that must be a good sign I thought.

My eldest has attended Premier Lodge for almost 3 years now and my youngest for 6 months. We have always been very happy with the care and support they have received over this time. The staff are fantastic - very friendly and genuinely care about the children they are looking after. I was particularly
anxious about my youngest starting nursery as it was just after the first lockdown and so she had never been apart from our family. The staff were outstanding and reassured me at every step. She now loves going to nursery and has formed a good attachment with the staff there. We have always been impressed with the variety of activities they carry out every day, including arts and crafts and educational activities to help their development, learning and preparation for school. We love the Famly app they use, it is a great tool for communicating with the staff and receiving daily updates including pictures and information about what the children are up to each day.

My daughter has been at Premier Lodge since she was 1 and she’s now 3. She absolutely loves going to nursery and it definitely makes it easier to leave her, knowing she’s enjoying herself and wants to be there. It has been an excellent experience for us to send our twins to Premier Lodge nursery since last year. They always keep us posted, managed the situation when kids are not well. I really appreciate their photo updates during the day which keeps my mind at peace.

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
