Playmates Nursery

Very hands on, great team at Playmates, polite, friendly and would highly recommend to any parent who wants to send their kids to this nursery. My son had a great time at this nursery and I noticed a lot of positive changes, thank you team.

Our shy and reluctant-to-go-to-nursery son thrived at Playmates, he is subsequently far more confident, social and ready for Big School. The activities are imaginative, cute, sometimes spontaneous, usually local and frequently involve public transport. Children take their own packed lunch however trying different foods, particularly around festival times, is encouraged, as is going shopping for, and trying, different fruits and vegetables.

My daughter has been attending Playmates for two years. She has always been happy to go to nursery and has grown in confidence, language and attitude. She is one of the kindest characters and is so loving. The staff have taught her so many skills. She is leaving to attend reception at school and is so prepared. She can write her own name and her maths is excellent. Amazing foundations- thank you.

I am honestly completely grateful for everything Playmates has done for my daughter. She came in when she was 2 years old, we had just arrived from Brazil, the employees were very attentive, they gave us all the support. Neither I nor my daughter spoke English and the manager helped me a lot, the teachers were very affectionate with her. Today was her last day and we are sad, I will never forget what they did for us.

My son struggles in some areas and the staff have done their upmost to help him with the areas he struggles with. The staff set up role play areas to encourage him to clean teeth, have his feet measured, hair cut ect and getting all the children involved. He is a fussy eater and terrible at drinking water the staff have worked so hard to push him forward and encouraging him to eat and drink because they generally care. There hasn't been one single day in two years where he has come out of nursery sad, he comes out each and every day a very happy little boy that's had a lovely day that in in itself speaks volumes.

Cannot speak highly enough of the nursery staff, who have looked after all three of our children. Our kids have loved being at Playmates Nursery from day one and have made wonderful friends. The staff care deeply about the children and provide a range of activities each day. The children are always encouraged to play outside, where there is a well-equipped play area. We are kept up-to-date with what's going on through the excellent app and through regular parents' evenings. Highly recommended!

Playmates Nursery is a very friendly nursery, offering a wonderfully, welcoming environment for my son. He's very excited to go to nursery each morning to have a fun, varied day with lots of outdoor play.
