My daughter started at Playhouse Montessori at the age of 18months. She settled very quickly and I believe that it was down to how friendly and encouraging they were as a team. At home, I was training my daughter to use the toilet and as soon as I expressed that to her nursery teachers, they quickly
jumped on board and reinforced the training on her days in. Daily sheets allowed me to have an insight as to what her day was like. if I was unable to have an end of day catch up with the Playhouse team. In regards to my daughters' well-being, they were very quick to pick up on unusual behaviour. They had learnt my child's character and because of this, anytime she was under the weather they called me and informed me. My daughter is very fond of her friends and teachers and the nursery and talks about them even when we are at home. She is soon turning 4 and is requesting for all of her little lovely friends and teachers to attend her birthday.

My son started here when he was 14 months old and stayed until he was 3. The nursery were incredibly supportive with my initial part time and term time requirements and my son transitioned amazingly well into full-time nursery. He thoroughly enjoyed his 2 years here, especially with the bonds he made
with staff and the opportunities and experiences he had here. The nursery was incredibly encouraging with all of his interests and organised activities to suit his favorite interests. We had concerns about his speech and language and staff went above and beyond to support and help us with this and his progress was outstanding. We have moved further away so my son will now join a local pre-school. However, he thoroughly enjoyed Playhouse Montessori Ltd. The staff, care and support for both himself and us as parents was fantastic!

We moved our 2 1/2 year-old to the Playhouse last October (2015) from another nursery which had kept our daughter in the baby room beyond the point which we felt was reasonable. When we moved our daughter she was delayed in her speech and was extremely 'mummy-centric' to the point to which she would
cling onto me rather than go to daddy and would push daddy away if I was in the vicinity. When she was at social events she was extremely shy and would cling to me rather than go and play with other children. Within about 1 month of her being at the Playhouse we saw a real positive change in her. She started talking much more with a considerably wider vocabulary and with much more confidence. You could see her trying out words and copying us much more. She also became much more confident and, while she continues to be a mummy's girl, she loves being with daddy and other people too. It has been wonderful to see the change in her and I feel that Playhouse with it's amazingly caring and wonderful staff, have had a massive influence on her. She is learning colours and numbers and is coming home with new bits of art and baking everyday. The owners who run the nursery have been wonderfully supportive and from the beginning did everything they could to help us with the potentially traumatic change of nurseries by being so flexible with the free settling in period. You can see that the focus is on the children and their well-being and progress and that is where the passion and enthusiasm lies which filters down to the fantastic nursery nurses.


We are so happy that we changed to Playhouse Montessori and I would recommend it to anyone.
