My son has thrived in the care provided by everyone at Playhouse Montessori. All of the staff are exceptional and we really could not recommend the nursery more highly.
He is always happy at drop off and pick up, which is extremely reassuring for first time parents!
Everyone is extremely accommodating
when it comes to any requests we might have.
The rooms and gardens are so clean and tidy. They do so many fun activities to help their development, which was instantly noticeable in the amount he was progressing each day.
We want to thank everyone at the nursery for everything they have done and continue to do for him! It’s safe to say we will miss you all greatly when we leave.

Playhouse Montessori is a lovely place and the entire team were supportive and understanding during the settlement process. As a first-time mom, it was not easy to find the perfect place and team to let them care for my child but as soon as I met the team, they make me feel that my baby was in good
hands.
Their kindness and happiness made my baby always happy when he saw them, and never cry when I dropped him off. Sadly we had to move to a closer nursery to our place but I would 100% recommend this great nursery. All the best!

My twins go to Playhouse Montessori nursery. They have settled down well. They are well taken care of. The nursery is clean and tidy. The staff and management are friendly and caring. I highly recommended this nursery.

Management lies a lot and is very quick to blame their staff for mistakes made by management.
Staff really care and love the kids but unfortunately, management doesn’t allow the staff to do their work without making nasty unprofessionally comments to them.
From my observation, management bullies
their staff and you can see the differences in their character. When kids are handed over to you at the door, management watches the staff on the camera at the door to ensure they are not saying anything to me. I see the nervousness on their faces.
Don’t believe anything the management says to you. They are liars and terrible to their staff.

The staff here are so friendly and warm. My son has only been around myself the whole of lockdown so I knew settling him in would be a challenge. However, the nursery has made him feel so at home and he is really enjoying it, every day he tells us how good his day has been and that makes me happy.

I have 2 children at Playhouse Montessori, both of whom have attended since before the age of 1. My eldest enjoys being in the nursery environment and has a strong attachment to his keyworker who he adores. He has developed an interest in letters and numbers at nursery and seems well-prepared to start
primary school. My youngest is happy and confident with nursery peers and staff. Staff are very caring and adapt to the children's needs. Where there are challenges (such as those relating to Covid) or other incidents, management appears to handle these appropriately.

Both my kids go to Playhouse Montessori, first kid started in 2017, the second kid started in 2020. Both of my kids have excelled so much with the care and attention given to them by their teachers. One of the best things is that the teachers get to know us as the parents on a personal note to understand
the children which I find is much better and in turn, it brings out the fun in learning with the kids. They always take their time to get to know the kids, my kids love going to nursery. Management has been very helpful and very supportive, especially in these covid times. I am happy to know that my kids are in safe hands.

I trusted my child at this nursery after good reviews, but after only three weeks there was a serious safeguarding breach that led me to remove my child. My child is 19 months old and was left without adequate supervision. He was able to enter the staff kitchen (which was left open), make his way through
the kitchen to the open back door at the far end and exit to the front of the property. He then walked down the path, opened the unlocked gate (which according to their risk assessment should be locked at all times) and walked straight out onto the street. Cars whizzed past as he made his way down the pavement. No members of staff noticed he was gone until another parent that happened to be collecting their child intercepted him and raised the alarm. When relaying the incident to me, the manager lied and said he didn’t get past the gate and that it was locked. It’s only when I requested to see the cctv did they admit the horrifying truth of the incident.

We have sent our daughter to Playhouse Montessori since she was 9-months-old (she is now 4-years-old) and we have felt confident that she is not only in safe hands but having a marvellous time also.
Our Daughter has flourished at his nursery, she adores the staff and children and she has come so far
with her speech, knowledge, writing relationships and learning ethic.
We often look at each other when she tells us information she has learnt and we are often speechless because it just seems so advanced.
We adore them.

The staff at Playhouse Montessori have looked after both my children over the last 4 years and I personally could not have left them in better hands. The kids have developed exceptionally well both socially and academically and the kids have always gone to and from school extremely happy and excited.

Playhouse Montessori is an excellent nursery, family-run with the most caring and friendly staff. We have now had both of our boys go to Playhouse Montessori and they have both absolutely loved every day. I can't speak more highly of the team. They have a great structure and routine and right from an
early age encourage, gently, learning of keys skills. Both my sons have become bright and full of confidence. The rooms are big, bright and full of activities, also have two fantastic gardens and they always get the children outside for some fresh air. The chef at the nursery is amazing, both my sons love the food. Fantastic variety of different ethnic dishes, vegetable and fruit. My eldest was very lucky to have been picked to show on TV My Pet and Me where they came to film at Playhouse Montessori and they had a variety of animals come to the nursery including a horse. The manager of the nursery is brilliant, so loving and caring. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter is thriving at Playhouse. She started when she was 10 months old and is now 2. She loves going to nursery every morning and when I pick her up at the end of each day she is still beaming! The staff are incredibly hands-on and know exactly how to push her development on, both on a short term
and long term basis. The management is extremely friendly and approachable and have the children’s interests very much at the heart of their ethos. I trust them unconditionally and can see how cared for she is there. It truly feels like a family unit. Playhouse Montessori is a very special place.

My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since attending this Playhouse Montessori in April, she has become more engaging, creative and bubbly. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. All staff members are absolutely amazing; so calm, kind, patient, nurturing and so attentive to my 2-year-old daughter's everyday needs. My daughter has started going to this nursery 2 months ago, but she already loves it. She has improved her speech and her ability
to interact with over children when before that, she was crying and throwing a tantrum every time someone was trying to talk to her or me (other than very close family). So to sum it up, the carers at this nursery have done wonders for my daughter and I will always be assured that she is in good hands.

Playhouse Montessori is definitely a home away from home. The staff are so warm and nurturing. I decided to move our son's nursery closer to home just under 2 years ago due to starting a new job. It was one of the hardest things a parent could probably do, my anxiety was out of the roof. New people
looking after my precious little boy, who could just about speak for himself. But on arriving at the nursery our son was in his element.
My son had the opportunity to continue during the lockdown which really has helped him with the transition from pre-school to reception.
He has gown into a confident and intelligent boy with an amazing personality and I want to thank Playhouse staff for helping nurture our son.
The management team are like family and are very flexible and easy to talk to. We will truly miss them

We choose the Playhouse due to their care, nurturing ethos and environment. My son is a confident and happy young boy who is fully prepared to make the transition to primary school. During his time there, each key worked has gone above and beyond to look after my child, he loves going each day. Drop-offs
and pick-ups are always friendly and easy due to the staff meeting and greeting him at the door. I have been impressed with their confident communication and regular updates on his progress, he often surprises me with his physical development and verbal communication. He simply enjoys the care, and has flourished under the guidance of the staff, and made some great friendships with other children. The management has invested in the outside and inside environment to make it stimulating and bright. Care is flexible, and I would highly recommend this nursery, as staff provide excellent learning activities, great food options, and it is a wonderful setting. Thank you to the whole team!

My two kids loved the nursery and as a mother, Playhouse Montessori is the only nursery that made me feel like my kids were safe and happy. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Administration makes communication easy as well. It feels like a family.

My daughter has been at Playhouse Montessori for two years now and she absolutely loves it. To relive her experience, I have gone to the school to observe the activities and it was awesome to see how the children are taught to be independent as toddlers, the teachers stimulate the children's reasoning
and questioning at such an early age. My daughters' progress has been awesome, she has become quite independent and wants to do everything for herself, she also mimics the teacher pretending to read to me and it is amazing. I would highly recommend the school to everyone as the staff are amazing and it is a friendly and family-centred positive learning environment for children.
