I am very happy to share my experience with Playhouse Nursery, where my son Talmeez attended preschool. It has been a wonderful journey for him. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children's growth. The environment is safe, friendly, and filled with engaging activities that
helped my son learn and develop confidently.
I'm grateful to Playhouse Nursery for giving him such a positive start to his learning journey. The managemnet and the whole team was supportive throughout. Highly recommended.

I have had a genuinely great experience with this nursery, and I feel very confident recommending it to other parents. All three of my children have attended, and each of them has enjoyed their time there very much. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than seeing your children happy,
settled, and excited to go into nursery each day - and that has consistently been our experience throughout the years.
From the very beginning, the settling-in process was handled with care and sensitivity. The staff took the time to get to know each of my children individually, which made the transition from home to nursery much smoother. It was clear early on that the team understands how important those first few weeks are for both children and parents. Their warm and welcoming approach helped build trust quickly, and that positive relationship has continued ever since.
One of the things that has stood out most to me is how bright and well-mannered the children are.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to send my boy to MontessoriPlayhouseNorbury. From the moment he started, it was clear that this isn't just a childcare center; it's a second home.

Communication: We always feel updated on their progress and daily routines, which gives me such peace of mind throughout the work day.
Brotherly Bond: The nursery has been wonderful at helping my boy settle in together while still supporting their individual growth.

We've had such a positive experience with Playhouse Montessori Nursery, and I can't recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly supportive, especially in helping us access additional support for my daughter, who is autistic. Their understanding, patience,
and proactive approach have made a huge difference to us as a family.
The team consistently keeps us updated on her development, which is so reassuring. They take the time to share progress, celebrate achievements, and discuss any areas where extra support might help. It really feels like they are invested in her wellbeing and growth.
Our daughter previously attended another local nursery where, unfortunately, we didn't receive the level of support we needed. Moving to this nursery has been a breath of fresh air. The difference in communication, care, and genuine support is remarkable.
We're so grateful to have found such a nurturing and attentive environment for our child.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Playhouse Montessori. From the very first visit, it was clear that this nursery is a warm, nurturing, and thoughtfully prepared environment where children truly thrive.
Our 2-year-old has blossomed since starting here. The Montessori approach is
beautifully implemented, encouraging independence, confidence, and curiosity in a way that feels completely natural for toddlers.
The staff are exceptional - caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's development.

This is a family run and owned institution - we feel this in the way they have shown above-and-beyond care for our son and daughter who both did their nursery at Playhouse. We have become family, and our children seem to love their nursery teachers more than us on most days :-)

My daughter has been attending Playhouse Montessori for the past 3 years and the progress we've seen is truly remarkable. She genuinely enjoys her days there and has formed a lovely bond with her teachers. Seeing her thrive socially and academically gives us so much confidence in the setting.
The
staff are exceptionally professional, caring, and knowledgeable, creating an environment where she feels both safe and challenged. Thanks to their guidance, she has become a confident, independent, and articulate communicator. I couldn't be happier with the support she receives, Highly recommended

As a grandparent, I am appalled by what happened at this nursery. My grandson was given a known, documented allergy clearly communicated verbally, in writing and electronically. He became unwell and required medical advice. I was on the phone to my daughter while she was in distress and requested a
FaceTime call because I was not near the nursery and needed to see his physical condition for myself, particularly as emergency services had not been called.
After my daughter raised a safeguarding concern, both of my grandsons' places were terminated despite no prior complaints. The timing is deeply troubling.
Ofsted has since identified failures in allergy management and leadership oversight. The nursery also refused to provide public liability insurance details when requested.
Parents should read the latest Ofsted report and think carefully before enrolling their children here.

PUBLIC WARNING: I would not recommend this nursery, particularly for children with allergies or medical needs.
Despite my son having a known, documented allergy that I had communicated verbally, in writing, & on their app, he was still given a very serious allergen, as a result my son became
unwell, and required medical advice.
Allergy records were not updated in ANY classrooms & not all staff were allergy trained, demonstrating poor management and unsafe practice.
Instead of taking responsibility, the nursery TERMINATED both of my children's places because of their mistake at very short notice after I raised safeguarding concerns, which felt retaliatory and left me without childcare.
This caused significant distress to my children and serious disruption to my work. This matter has been formally reported to Ofsted and other governing bodies.
Parents should think VERY VERY carefully before entrusting their children to this setting.
They will punish you for speaking up!

We would like to sincerely thank the entire Playhouse Montessori team for their care, kindness, and professionalism. During the time our child attended this nursery , they were always happy to come here and felt safe, supported, and truly cared for.
The teachers are wonderful - attentive, patient,
and genuinely devoted to the children. This is a place where children are not only taught, but truly loved.
We are leaving the nursery only because of our relocation, and we do so with great sadness and deep gratitude. Thank you for the happy memories, warm atmosphere, and positive impact you have had on our child's development. We would highly recommend this nursery to any family.

Playhouse Nursery has been absolutely wonderful for my daughter, Ariana. The staff are so caring, patient, and loving, and they truly treat every child like their own. From the moment she started, she settled in beautifully and always came home happy, confident, and excited about her day. The team
are very professional, supportive, and always keep parents informed, which gave me great peace of mind. I am so grateful for the warm, safe, and nurturing environment they provided for my daughter. We've had a wonderful experience at this nursery. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and they truly make every child feel valued. My son has grown so much-both socially and academically-since starting here. He always comes home excited to share what he learned or what fun
activity they did that day.
The communication with parents is excellent, and the environment is safe, clean, and full of engaging activities. I'm very grateful for the love and support my son receives every day. Highly recommended!

I do not know where to begin with how amazing this nursery is. It is so well managed by the leadership team and all staff members. The communication between nursery and parents is fantastic. My son has been going to this nursery for two years now and his communication and confidence has grown
significantly by the support of all the staff at Playhouse Montessori. My son had very limited vocabulary when he first began and is now thriving. I was also struggling with potty training and staff members took it upon themselves to help me and he's now fully trained. The management are so incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. I honestly do not know how I would've coped these last few years if I had not found such a wonderful nursery. I highly recommend if you're looking for well trained staff and a fantastic environment for your child to grow. Safeguarding is also a high priority which I immensely appreciate.

I have had two children go to Playhouse (one is still there) and my third will be starting soon. We absolutely love it! It really is like a home away from home. The staff are so friendly and wonderful with the children and the
communication is excellent. I am also very impressed with how much they
learn - my son was so well prepared for school with regards to phonics and maths. He loves school but still talks about how much he misses nursery! I really couldn't recommend Playhouse Montessori more; it's such a nurturing and fun starting point for children.

We absolutely love this nursery! It's always very well-maintained, which gave us peace of mind from day one. The staff are friendly and care about the children. They do an amazing job teaching and engaging the kids with fun and educational activities every day. Our child has learned so much and
looks forward to going every morning now. You can really tell the team puts a lot of effort into creating a safe and happy environment. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great place for their little one!

We got recommended this nursery from a friend as her granddaughter attends there and after visiting a few nurseries we straight away knew this was the best one for our son. All the teachers and staff are so welcoming and take great care of all the children like their own, after few months of my son
going there, he has learnt soo much, he loves going.

This is a family nursery, 4 nephews and niece's have been through this nursery and now my son. We as a family would choose no other montessori. They are kind, considerate and ace at their job! I was pregnant with my second son when my first joined and the care and consideration shown by one of the
staff and the staff was unmatched , which is something so unexpected from an education institution! My son absolutely loves going nursery which in itself says a lot, because he is cared for with utmost attention. He has fun, learns and teaches us when he comes home haha. This nursery does a fantastic job and I hope they continue for many many many years to come! Thank you Playhouse you are the best in everyway.

My son recently attended playhouse and loved his time there! It's a family run nursery and all the staff are always warm and welcoming. You get regular updates on what the kids are doing via the Tapestry app and the staff update it diligently, even including on what they've had to eat that day. The
kids also regularly visit play parks, libraries, fire stations and all of the community events are celebrated allowing you to get to know the other parents. I would definitely recommend!

I have put two of my kids in Playhouse Montessori who have had the best time there. All of the staff have been so caring and nurturing and the management have been so supportive and understanding when I have had to adjust days/ hours. I highly recommend Playhouse!

Playhouse is a lovely place and the entire team was supportive and understanding during the settlement process. My daughter has been here for more than one year she loves this place, even when it's not her day she wants to go back to the nursery. I highly recommend this nursery. The manager and one
staff member in particular have been very helpful and very supportive not just to me as a parent but to all my needs. I'm very happy for me and my child this is a second home.
