Nappy Gang Nursery

As a parent, it is a blessing that you feel in 100% complete confidence your child is in an environment to thrive and be well looked after. Our daughter at home is always singing songs from nursery, talking about books she has read, friends she has played with and the staff, specifically her key worker. From the baby room to her room today, our daughter throughout her time at Nappy Gang has thoroughly enjoyed it and this is all down to the staff, who have been fantastic from day one. We will always be grateful for the role Nappy Gang has played in her development.

Wonderful nursery I honestly recommend! My little one attended from six months to five years and always came home with a smiley face. She enjoyed the whole experience. Certainly helpful staff, they always inform you on how your child has got on during the day, clearly shows they're attentive and have a hands-on approach to childcare. Also a good amount of staff so your child will most definitely be within eye view of an adult at all times. The management team are very approachable and supportive and clearly always willing to help. If you're considering enrolling your child here I believe you should go for it.

Our son has been going to Nappy Gang Nursery for nearly two years now and we are generally very happy with the setting. The carers are great with the children and provide a well-balanced range of entertainment and education for different ages. They have a wonderful large garden, a soft play room and generously spaced indoor facilities for the children. Our son both enjoys going to nursery, speaks fondly of his teachers and learns a lot. We receive regular updates on his daily activities and photos through the babydays app, which generally works well and allows us to engage with his day.

One point that could be improved on is the diet, which consists of too much refined and sugary food, such as smiley faces and baked beans. Those could be replaced in favour of more nutritious and healthy choices.

One improvement which could be addressed is notifying parents of the staff structure in each room. I don’t really know who leads each room and how many people work in each, what level of qualification they have etc. I would feel more reassured as a parent who can’t enter the setting if I was communicated with about staff structure. This should be on the app and updated on the website/note on the door.

From day one all of the staff at Nappy Gang were extremely welcoming and put us at ease for our little one starting there.

His development has come on in leaps and bounds and the staff have always been very understanding and supportive of his individual medical needs.

Communication between staff and parents is great and the daily updates on the app are brilliant. The facilities are fantastic and our son loves spending time in the soft playroom.

Overall I’m very happy with Nappy Gang Nursery. The staff are wonderful, caring and well-loved by my child.

My child runs into nursery every day without exception and therefore I trust the environment is one where she feels safe, secure and happy.

It’s very affordable compared to many nurseries in the area.

The only area I would like to see improvements are around a more varied healthy food menu.

I can’t rate Nappy Gang highly enough. The leadership and the key workers of the Buds room in particular have been everything a parent would be looking for from a nursery. Huge thanks to the staff.

My child’s development has come on tremendously, the staff care about his well-being and he very much enjoys his time at nursery. Total win as far as a parent is concerned.

I have been using the nursery’s service for the 3 years now and am incredibly happy with the outcome. The staff are friendly, caring and really adored by the kids. The days are structured and engaging leaving me content that my kids are developing in a nurturing environment. Both my girl’s settled in seamlessly from the start and truly love attending the setting. There is also a real community spirit between the parents and children which is an amazing bonus.

My daughter attended the nursery when she was nearly 2 years old. She was happy from the beginning. Friendly staff and support offered when needed. Early opening times that's allowed you to be at work on time. My older son also attend the same nursery many years ago, also very pleased.

My son has been attending for over one month so far and it's been an interesting experience so far. The difference in his vocabulary and imagination has been exceptional. A great advantage for us was that the nappy gang is open during August which is super helpful.

They have a great space with lots of different activities on offer. The app is an ideal way to check in on seeing his progress too. We are happy he's with children of his age and older and that was the opposite in the last place we had him at.

I would say that it's hard to develop personal relationships with the key carers as the team is so big, food-wise I feel that the menu could reduce the sugar intake and offer more vegetables.

My nephew has been at Nappy Gang since September and on occasion I have been the one that has been to collect him. Before he started, he was shy and didn’t attempt to play or communicate well with other children his age. But over the months I have seen how much of a personality he has developed and how much more confident he is. It is becoming more obvious even when I get to see him outside of the nursery environment. He is playing with his grandparents and is more confident in playing with his older brother. It is great to see. The team there are brilliant, they give me all the feedback of the day whenever I pick him up. I have trouble remembering all the details when I repeat it to my sister later that day.

My child loves going to this nursery and is constantly talking about the teachers and friends she has made. Communication between the parents and staff is also very good. I have never had an issue with cleanliness, and the management have always been polite and caring towards us

The whole team are very friendly and extremely supportive, from the carers to management. Great, well-maintained facilities available for learning and development. Perfect location in relation to public transport. Couldn't ask for a better team. Thank you all.

My daughter has been attending Nappy Gang for a few months now and the difference in her has been incredible. Her behavior has been transformed from a boisterous twenty-month-old to a calm and content child. Her vocabulary and creative skills have increased. The food is excellent and is very nutritious. The staff are the most caring and experienced in all areas, I feel completely comfortable leaving my child in their care. The setting is safe and secure, all staff are extremely careful and follow a strict collection procedure. The baby days app is available at this nursery and it's amazing, I can check updates on my child`s learning, food, nappy changes and daily routine. When my child has been unwell they have been very caring and informative. The nursery also provides excellent educational outings and social events which my child really enjoys. I couldn't recommend this nursery any higher as I'm thoroughly satisfied and would like all parents to be able to feel this way with regards to the nursery they choose.
