Little Cherubs Nursery & Preschool - Shortlands

Little Cherubs is the best nursery we have attended. My daughter has been there for just over a year now and I can't thank the team enough. The manager, deputy manager, my daughter's key workers and all the staff. They have been so supportive and so helpful. They deal with issues that happen during the day and just get on with it, they don't call parents at every inconvenience, only when absolutely necessary. Our daughter looks forward to going to nursery every day and we feel totally at peace when we drop her off. There is a wide variety of resources to support children's learning and the staff give detailed feedback on your child every day, including sharing with the parent any particular activity or toys your child enjoys playing with. It's a private nursery running a business but at the same time, very caring and understanding. I would choose Little Cherubs nursery over and over again.

My eldest son will shortly leave Little Cherubs to start primary school having been at the nursery shortly after turning one. I have nothing but excellent things to say about the Shortlands team. The staff are fantastic and we view them as extended members of our family. There are always plenty of age-appropriate activities across the baby, toddler and pre-school rooms and it has been an absolute pleasure to watch my son grow and develop in confidence, thanks to the fantastic support of this wonderful team. I would highly recommend Little Cherubs Shortlands to any parents/carers.

Staff are all very nice and genuinely seem to enjoy working there. They engage with the children well.

It’s also a lovely environment with lots of activities for the children both inside and outside, sports for tots and French have been big favourites with my daughter.

We will be sad to leave at the end of August to start reception.

My little girl has been at Little Cherubs since she was six months old and is now starting school in a couple of weeks. She has always been very happy here as the staff in all three rooms (baby, toddler and pre-school) room are so warm and welcoming - it is like a family. The things she has learnt at Little Cherubs, especially in the last 18 months (writing many words unaided, simple maths, reading and general other subjects about how the world works in general) means she is more than prepared as she takes her next steps into big school. I cannot speak highly enough of the place and I am sure she will be very sad to leave everyone in a couple of weeks.

This is an outstanding nursery and I would always recommend it to people. The staff are all fantastic and have great relationships with the children. They do various activities with the children including lots of crafts, music, reading and writing! My daughter is leaving there a confident writer and a basic reader, could not ask for more before starting school!!!

Great friendly trusting staff. My son has learnt a lot for a 2-year-old and I very happy to attend every day and never wants to leave. They cover a wide range of topic and activities every day is different. I would highly recommend.

My two children went to Little Cherubs until December 2017 when we moved house. My daughter was 8 months when she started and just before she left she celebrated her 4th birthday. My son started when he was 11 months old and was at the nursery for six months. They always enjoyed going and there and had lots of fun with the activities organised. My daughter has made her first 'best friends' at Little Cherubs. The staff genuinely care about the children. My youngest is missing the cuddles!

Little Cherubs, Shortlands is a very well run nursery. The staff are lovely and know the children very well. My daughter progressed very well developmentally and has been very happy at Little Cherubs. I would definitely recommend!

Excellent staff and friendly environment. My son loved it and all his friends. All children have their own key worker and they will provide feedback on your children's activities and their growing progress. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends or anyone.

My son has been attending the nursery for over a year now and we are very happy with it. He goes with pleasure every day, has made many friends and is happy with the activities and the staff in the nursery.

I would certainly recommend the nursery and am very pleased that we choose this one. He is starting school in September and I feel that the nursery played a key role for him being ready for school and feeling positive about it.

My daughter started Little Cherubs, Shortlands in Sept 2012 when she was just 6 months old. From the moment I set foot in the nursery, I knew she would flourish. My daughter left at the age of 4 to go off to reception as a confident, polite and happy young lady. This is hugely down to the staff at Little Cherubs, their care for the children is outstanding and the activities organised each day they set my daughter and then my son who started 2 years later. It truly is a fantastic nursery and one I know my children have very happy memories from.

My daughter had an excellent experience with Little Cherubs. In both the toddler and baby room she was well cared for, understood and developed. The staff were always incredibly kind and caring. The management team were also efficient and caring, adding to our confidence in the nursery. We are sorry we moved away!

Both of my daughters attended 'Little Cherubs Day Nursery Shortlands' from the age of 8 months to 4 years. During this time, our girls progressed into confident children with an excellent foundation to start their school. 'Little Cherubs Day Nursery Shortlands' provides a happy, safe and stimulating environment and the children were eager to go in each morning. The staff have been brilliant and the low turnover of employees illustrate the fantastic working conditions and provide stability for parents and children alike. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery and I am so pleased I found it.
