Kindred nursery in Teddington is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, the nursery is able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Teddington (formerly known as Buttons) is located in a residential area immediately opposite a lovely public park, and 10 minutes walk from Teddington train station.

Kindred offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

The nursery is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (with an optional start at 7:30 am and late finish at 6:30 pm).

My daughter began at Kindred at 10 months old and is now a toddler there. She loves it - always arrives with a smile and is eager to get in and see the staff and other children. Kindred feels like one big family and it's lovely to see staff and children in other age-groups interacting with my daughter
when she's there. We get a daily record of her day and plenty of opportunities to discuss concerns/development. Highly recommend.

My daughter moved here in January when the branch in Hampton closed down and if anything she loves it even more. We were so glad when the manager moved over to Teddington too as she is fab. Always has brilliant ideas of activities for the children and great communication.
My daughter always seems
to have done so much during her days at Buttons and is happy and confident there. She even recited 1-10 in Spanish at the dinner table the other day, so the children really do learn loads! I especially like the way that the children learn about all different celebrations and festivals like St David’s and St Patrick’s days and how they make links with the local community. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Buttons Teddington to anyone.

I am incredibly happy with how well my son was welcomed into the nursery by the manager and her team.

We love the care and love he is shown by all the staff. The preschool is such a nurturing and educational environment which really is helping prepare him for starting Reception next September.


The

meals he receives at nursery are also amazing and he almost always has second helpings too!

An amazing nursery with excellent facilities and staff. The manager is very passionate about her role and she always comes up with ideas to inspire her staff and the children. The staff are lovely and care for the children well. Wonderful setting, would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

My son is very happy with the nursery and the time he spends there. Every time he comes back from nursery he is very happy and excited. The staff are friendly, the learning and care is excellent. Very happy with the nursery in general.

My son has attended Buttons Day Nursery for six weeks now and from the first day, he was very comfortable to go off and play.
I'm really happy with is progress already, first time he has been able to write his name.
Very clean nursery with lots of different areas and equipment for the children.

attentive staff and built a great connection with my son already. He has never come home unhappy.

My son always leaves nursery saying how much he 'likes' nursery. Asked what he has done, the response is always 'played'. He enjoys the wide range of toys, activities and garden play. The staff are always caring and the rooms set up for the days activities when we arrive.

There are different toys and activities provided to the children and my girl likes to have craft work a lot. The staff are very caring and passionate. The nursery manager is very good where she explained the information patiently and kept me updated all the time. I would highly recommend to other parents.

Everyone at Buttons is so friendly and caring, and it seems really homely. I transferred to Buttons from another nursery which is known to have an excellent standard of care (and very high fees to match it). With money tight, I started a tour of the local nurseries in Teddington, and as I toured Buttons
and instantly felt that their standard of care was on the same level as the other place. The girls in the baby room are excellent, the room is so homely, bright and friendly. There are lots of toys and areas for the babies to play in, and my little guy settled in right away - giving lots of big cuddles to two ladies. Since he's started he's now walking, building with mega blocks, talking loads more - and so smiley and happy everytime I go to pick him up. The person who runs the nursery is a dream as well - friendly, hands on, and a total natural with parents and children alike! Highly recommended!

Since joining at the age of 12 months (two day per week) nearly a year and a half ago, our daughter has been extremely happy at Buttons in Teddington. She eats and sleeps there better than she does at home (on the whole) and we have always felt the staff provide a kind and nurturing environment where
she feels very comfortable. She refers to her friends and carers regularly when away from nursery and the staff communication with us about her progress or any issues has been regular and helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate in writing an outstanding review for buttons nursery and all of its staff. My little boy has been at buttons for just over a year now and is thriving there, both socially and academically. The management run buttons so professionally with that personal touch. The teachers are caring,
engaging and fun. The food is fabulous. The best advert for Buttons is my little one is happy. Some days he's disappointed he's not actually going!!

Louise Morley

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I have worked with children since 2015, when I first started as an apprentice completing my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. Most of my experience has been working within a baby room, but I have spent time across all ages of early years.


I started my journey at Kindred Teddington in 2019 whilst working as bank staff and have worked my way up to Nursery Manager in 2023. Kindred have given me the best opportunities to grow and develop within my career, which I am so thankful for.


I have a teenage stepdaughter with special educational needs, which has given me a passion for ensuring all children have the best opportunities to learn and develop to their individual best abilities.

Hi, I'm Amy. I have been a part of the Kindred Teddington family since 2021.


In 2023, I completed my Level 3 Qualification and soon after, stepped into my role as Deputy Manager.


Childcare has always been a real passion, and I love being able to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
