Kindred nursery in Teddington is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, the nursery is able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Teddington (formerly known as Buttons) is located in a residential area immediately opposite a lovely public park, and 10 minutes walk from Teddington train station.

Kindred offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

The nursery is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (with an optional start at 7:30 am and late finish at 6:30 pm).

My soon to be 4 year old has just started at Kindred. After being at her previous nursery for a few years I was a little worried about how she might find Kindred with so many changes in her environment, friends and carers. I am super pleased with Kindred. My daughter absolutely loves it here! She tells
me she really likes it, I asked if she misses her old nursery she said no and told me the names of the new friends she made. The parent app is incredible too, I get to read reviews on how she's been doing, exactly what she has eaten and see photos of her progress too. Communication with nursery via this app is very convenient. So far so very good.

I found myself in a difficult situation needing an urgent placement. I went to see Kindred and was so delighted with the tour we had! The staff seemed to really know their stuff and they seemed to have a great ethos! I immediately felt at home and really saw the care of staff towards the children. This
really made me feel at ease, and I'm so happy we got a placement for the girls! I think the girls will really thrive there and be safe! They were also very strong on safeguarding, which I really appreciated. Seems like a great place and we're very excited to now be part of the Kindred family.

The nursery gives excellent feedback on my son informing me of his day, the mood he’s been in, what he’s played with and eaten etc…
The staff are brilliant and we feel very confident leaving him there.
Our son looks forward to going to nursery every day and always has a happy smile when we pick him

My son loves it here, after having to move nurseries due to him being unhappy in his previous one, it is amazing to see him walk in happy and return home all excited and keen to tell me about his day! My son is quite shy, sensitive and struggles with leaving me, but the staff are amazing and extremely

My son joined the baby room a few months ago and seems to be really enjoying it. The staff are very caring and helped him to settle in. He now can't wait to go in when we drop him off! Our daughter waves us goodbye from the nursery door each morning before happily walking in - we couldn’t ask for more. Our son is very happy at Kindred. He loves all the members of staff and always comes out happy and smiling. He has formed really good bonds with the team in his room.

Our twin boys absolutely love attending this nursery. The staff are very caring and provide feedback at the end of each day to let us know how they’ve got on. The boys want to go in every day and when we pick them up tell us all the fun things they’ve done. We also receive photos occasionally about
what they’ve been up to, which we love to see. The boys have come a long way in their development since joining - so thank you!

I was so nervous ahead of my son starting nursery and I really didn’t know what to expect. However, after a warm welcome combined with regular updates and photos over the first few days, I was quickly reassured. It’s been a fab first experience and our 13 month old has a ball! Great variety of meals
and activities too. I’d definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

My daughter has attended Kindred Teddington from before her first birthday and just turned three. We've had a wonderful experience in our time there. The staff have been wonderful and she's always so excited to go in in the morning and to tell me about all the exciting things she's done.

My daughter has been attending Kindred Teddington for the last six months and she loves it. She has just moved from baby room to toddlers, however during her time in the baby room she formed a strong bond with both her key workers, she would talk non stop about them when she wasn't there. Knowing that
your baby is happy whilst you are not there is what every parents needs to feel reassured. Would highly recommend Kindred Teddington to others.

My three year old loves coming here every day and runs into the nursery happily, with barely a look behind him and he is happy to see his friends.They have plenty of space both inside and out to keep him busy and everything seems to be well organised, clean and tidy. The environment is very friendly
and the staff have done an amazing job of keeping everything open and as normal as possible despite an extremely turbulent time for everyone. They have ensured that they have kept all parents up to date in a very timely fashion, with any of the changes necessary in line with government guidance. They use the family app to provide general updates on the nursery as well as observations as to how he is progressing. Every time I have had a specific question, the manager or a member of the management team has responded very quickly. Overall, I am extremely happy the care he receives and am happy with how he is progressing.

We have found Kindred Teddington to be a friendly, welcoming and caring nursery with supportive staff in a bright and modern setting. Our daughter has been attending for seven months and is very happy there. The communication from nursery staff is excellent and through the use of an app, we're able
to see photos, leave messages, check nap times and nappy changes. We also receive observations around her development which is very useful. Throughout the pandemic, they have been incredibly flexible and supportive. They've communicated in a timely way to keep parents up to date around Covid-19 related issues. Our daughter has flourished in the time she's been at Kindred Teddington, learning songs and dances, making friends and forming good relationships with the members of staff. She loves it so much she gets upset when we walk past at the weekend and she can't go in! We highly recommend Kindred Teddington.

We visited Kindred Teddington last year for the first time, as we were choosing a place for our daughter. We saw mostly all the nurseries around our area and we immediately knew that Kindred was exactly what we were looking for. We liked the place (very bright and clean rooms, superb food choices),
we immediately create a connection with the manager and the room leader, every question that we made got a reply. We asked to use the funded hours and we felt that our requests were always welcome.
Our daughter joined the nursery and she enjoyed every single day. All the team were giving their best constantly. During the Covid19, the nursery manager was sending us daily emails regarding the meal of the day to create at home and some activities and ideas to try at home as well. Those were greatly appreciated. We couldn't ask for better and we highly recommend it. We will miss them all.

I absolutely love Kindred and all the staff that work there. I’ve always felt the staff are very invested in helping the children to grow and really understanding them as an individual and also how I feel as a parent. They do a number of different fun and educational activities and have lots of garden
time too which is great. I know that every day my son is there he is learning a variety of skills whilst enjoying himself. The food menus are brilliant with a wide range of healthy options that have really broadened my sons taste buds. My son has been attending the nursery now for two years and I can honestly say it’s been really great for him.

After much thought and deliberation, we made the (difficult!) decision to send our first daughter to Kindred nursery and thankfully we've never looked back. The environment is welcoming, the staff have always been first class, and everyone truly cares about the children, from the chef to the manager.
Based on our experience first time around, making the decision as to where to send our second daughter was as such, much easier. Both daughters love the nursery and have really flourished having made lots of great friends. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful environment and staff taking care of the children. This is such a wonderful nursery. My son has been so happy here. The staff are friendly, nurturing and so creative with their ideas. The children are always happy when I drop and pick up my son and there is always a good sense of fun.
The food smells delicious and my son always raves about his favourite
curry. He has become so adventurous in his tastes since being at Kindred.
I would highly recommend this fantastic Nursery!

Louise Morley

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I have worked with children since 2015, when I first started as an apprentice completing my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. Most of my experience has been working within a baby room, but I have spent time across all ages of early years.


I started my journey at Kindred Teddington in 2019 whilst working as bank staff and have worked my way up to Nursery Manager in 2023. Kindred have given me the best opportunities to grow and develop within my career, which I am so thankful for.


I have a teenage stepdaughter with special educational needs, which has given me a passion for ensuring all children have the best opportunities to learn and develop to their individual best abilities.

Hi, I'm Amy. I have been a part of the Kindred Teddington family since 2021.


In 2023, I completed my Level 3 Qualification and soon after, stepped into my role as Deputy Manager.
