Busy Bees Walthamstow

Poorly managed nursery. No established manager, poor retention of staff, hence affecting care to children. Very good chef at present but he will probably leave soon due to ineffective management. Some staff are rude and should not work with children. I had safeguarding concerns regarding one staff, which I raised with covering manager but nothing has been done. We are very unhappy with current running of nursery services.

My daughter started here in May 2022 and in such a short amount of time, I've been so impressed with the level of care and the support through the settling period. My daughter hasn't been the easiest child to settle but the staff have been amazing and so hands on, they've made my daughter and me as her Mum feel welcome and they have provided plenty of cuddles when she's been upset and unsettled. I'm really happy that I chose this Nursery for my daughter and I would 100% recommend this Nursery.

The staff here are really caring and creative. They had a paramedic in to visit the kids recently and the children get lots of outside time.My daughter gets the cuddles and reassurance she needs but also lots of stimulation and challenges.

The clear strengths are caring staff and spacious premises. After a few bumps, the nursery had achieved a really good standard of care last year, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things will stay this way.

No amount of thank you’s can show how appreciative we are of this nursery. Not only have they worked tirelessly through the pandemic; they have become the family my little one has missed. They are warm, welcoming and they treat each child as if they are their own. It’s a wonderful place with wonderful people, I couldn’t imagine my little one going anywhere else.

My son loves going to nursery. He's always so excited to go in, probably because he knows he's going to have a fantastic day. They do so many activities with them! He's been attending for nearly a year and I could not fault the care he has received. Excellent team!

We have had a great experience with Busy Bees at Walthamstow. My one year old and three year old have been going for two months and love it there. They always come bounding to the door to be collected with huge grins and we’ve been really impressed with the range of activities. We feel very fortunate that we have been able to keep sending them there while other nurseries have struggled to stay open with Covid-19 restrictions and think that they have handled the risk brilliantly. The staff are lovely.

Our daughter has been at Busy Bees at Walthamstow for one year, starting at age one. She absolutely loves going to Busy Bees at Walthamstow and she is well cared for. The staff are attentive to her needs and provide a good range of activities to help stimulate her development and have fun. She clearly learns a great deal, often coming home with new words or gestures to show us. The facilities are great. Crucially there is a fantastic outdoor space to run around and play in. Perhaps most importantly she is not just looked after but loved. Very happy indeed!

Excellent staff. My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was seven months old and we’ve never had a complaint. My daughter is extremely happy there, so much so that she insists that she wants to go on weekends as well.

We have had a very positive experience at Busy Bees at Walthamstow. The management have been professional and have addressed any concerns we've had in the past. The teachers/staff are attentive and great with the children. We're now on child number two at the nursery and have had experiences in the different classrooms. The teachers/staff are caring, positive and receptive throughout. In addition to great staff, the meals provided are varied and healthy. The whole team, including kitchen staff, have made this past year a much easier one for our family and we would recommend this nursery.

We are really happy with the care our children get at Busy Bees at Walthamstow; they love it there. We know they are well cared for, well-fed and nap well. We love seeing the different activities that they do every day; painting, baby yoga, singing, outdoor play and learning about the world. The recent addition of the app has helped us feel connected to our children and their nursery experience. The staff are really open and friendly and you can tell they are very fond of the children they care for.

My youngest has been there since she was eight months old and is absolutely thriving thanks to the care and effort of the staff at Busy Bees at Walthamstow.

The staff appear happy and seem to have a real team spirit amongst them, which must contribute to the positivity amongst the children who attend. This nursery has an experienced management team who have proved great resilience and an ability to think outside of the box to ensure children, staff and parents are safe and the overall experience at the nursery is positive for all.

Our little one's transition to Busy Bees at Walthamstow has been seamless, developing a strong connection with the key worker and really enjoying being at the nursery, so much so that we have tears if we do an early pickup. The children really enjoy the garden and outdoor space and the staff are friendly and approachable. We're always able to have a chat with them, get reassurance and ask for extra encouragement if we feel our child needs this. Thank you to all the lovely staff!

My daughter has been with this nursery since 10 months old. She has grown and developed into a confident and happy 3 year old. The staff has been nurturing and provide feedback on her development. The food provided by the in house catering has been lovely and wholesome. The hours of care available (0700 - 1900) and provided by the nursery has provided a good option and flexibility for working parents like us.

In recent months the nursery has improved drastically. As a mum, I always feel so welcomed and supported. They offer so many different activities to all ages. What I have noticed the most about my daughter is how caring she has become and that's down to the staff. They are so warm and attentive to all the children. When I collect her they tell me all about her day and how much fun she has had. It truly is such an amazing place.

Lovely warm atmosphere in the nursery.

I am very happy with Busy Bees at Walthamstow as a whole. All staff are very caring and professional. The carers in the room my child attends are incredibly caring and loving. They know my child so well and have helped her develop so much. They always have different activities each week and always celebrate different festive periods throughout the year. I like that the nursery is diverse and my child is exposed to different cultures. The food is amazing, the menu is always different each week. The administration staff are always so polite and understanding. Can't thank them enough for all their hard work.

Busy Bees Walthamstow is a good nursery with some really good caregivers. My son loves to go to the nursery and when he struggled at the start to get used to the process, the ladies at the nursery were very patient and took their time in getting him used to the nursery.

The staff at this nursery genuinely care for the children (and parents) and therefore, as parents, we are truly assured that our girls are safe, happy and loved. They have been there for us in difficult times too, which is a true mark of kindness and support.
