Fountain Montessori is a nursery school providing child care in the Edgware/Harrow area. Fountain Montessori is located in a recently refurbished grade 2 listed building, and children have access to a multiple beautiful playgrounds and a vegetable garden from their classrooms. Fountain Montessori provides a learning environment based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and principles of a child-centred education. It is their mission to provide students and their families with a harmonious, ordered and nurturing atmosphere where the whole child can develop according to their individual needs.

The classroom at Fountain Montessori nursery is designed to provide a prepared environment which constantly stimulates the child's natural desire to learn and explore through the use of hands-on learning materials.

They welcome families with children aged 6 months to 4 years to programmes which allow children to grow, learn and play in a unique atmosphere purposely created for them.

Good learning space and my child became independent quickly.

Excellent nursery! My son is exhausted after each day of nursery yet I can see he is really enjoying it. Also, he is learning so many new things thanks to the nursery. Recommending it now to everyone I know.

Our experience at Fountain has been nothing short of great.
My child is well looked after and has flourished during their time at Fountain.
The teachers and the admin staff take real pride in the work that they do and it is truly my child's home away from home.

The teachers are attentive, and welcoming and update regularly my son's progress. I thoroughly enjoy the Montessori style of learning and the independence

Our son loves going to school. He has developed his independence greatly at fountain. The teacher communicate each evening at pick up and have parent activities such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Diwali party and a whole school trip.

We have always enjoyed having our child at Fountain Montessori. They are an excellent Montessori nursery helping a child’s overall development. My daughter started attending Fountain Montessori Edgware in April 2024 and 2 months in I can already see huge progress in the way she communicates and lives her daily life. I am extremely happy to notice how she is closely monitored by the teachers and to receive daily updates via the app. The vegetarian
menu shared in advance with parents is also a great addition, as allows the child to make healthy choices even outside the nursery. I would recommend Fountain Montessori Edgware to any parent who wants the best education for their children, while they play safely and grow up healthy.

The staff are great. As parents, they provide excellent reviews on your child's progress. Nursery provides plenty of activities for children to keep them busy throughout the day. Facilities inside the nursery are great for the child's development.

My twins have been at Fountain Nursery since they were 1 year old. I have found the staff to be incredibly nurturing and engaging with my children. They walk in with a smile every morning and I am confident they will be well looked after and cared for whilst they are not in my care. The food on their
menu is excellent and the grounds are large and colourful.

We are extremely happy with the care our son receives at Fountain Montessori - our daughter went there and despite this being further away from her school, we wanted our son to receive the same. The teachers go above and beyond for the growth of the child and my son absolutely enjoys going everyday,
and looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends. They have been wondering in recognising the individual needs of a child and focusing on them allowing my son's confidence to grow in a secure, safe setting.

We have had a generally positive experience with Fountain Montessori. The staff is warm and attentive, making a noticeable effort to ensure the children feel welcome and secure. Our child has enjoyed her time here and has made significant progress in several areas.
The spaces are bright and well-equipped
with a range of activities that keep the children engaged. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to blend educational activities with play, which has helped our child develop both academically and socially.
Communication from the nursery is consistent, with regular updates on our child's progress and activities. This has been very reassuring and helps us stay connected to what our child is experiencing each day.
Overall we are pleased with our choice of nursery. It provides a nurturing environment where our child feels happy and supported. We would recommend it to other parents seeking a solid early education foundation for their children

Our older child went to Fountain Montessori Nursery in Edgware and now our younger child is there. We have been very happy with the Montessori teaching and have seen how fast our children have developed here. The teachers are excellent, so caring and compassionate and have real skills in getting 35
3 to 4-year-olds to sit quietly and listen! Without such amazing teachers, it wouldn't be the same.

Fountain (Edgware) has the most friendly staff that all love children and understand their needs. The nursery celebrates diversity and encourages parent participation and has taught my wife and me quite a few things about how to effectively nurture my child. The Manager leads a wonderful team where
they endeavour to accommodate our every need. The admin team is quick to respond and is efficient in discussing/explaining. Her designated key carer has been so good for our child and always keeps us up to date with their activities. This nursery gets 10/10 on my report card.

Very happy with the nursery. My daughter loves it there. She always smiles and is keen to get inside when I drop her off. She has close bonds with teachers and everyone at the nursery is putting on extra effort and extra warmth to comfort her and connect with her. Really appreciate that teachers provide
extra support and care when a child has a hard day. They will spend more time with the child, extra cuddles and more attention. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my daughter is well looked after and her emotional needs are well taken care of.

My 2-year-old daughter just loves to go to Fountain Montessori Nursery. She has a lot of confidence and tries to be very independent. Her key worker is absolutely very caring and takes time to give feedback. All the staff are very caring and helpful and energetic.

The best nursery school that supports and helps achieve children's individual needs and goals. We knock open the door of Fountain Montessori Edgware carrying a very specific purpose: to ask for help in preparing our daughter ready for private school assessment. Back then, our little one didn't speak
English, was super shy, lack of social skills... and only 6 months later, today we received the offer from our dream school. Beyond the academic aspect, my daughter has totally changed, becoming a confident, curious and active young lady and also as caring, loving and open-minded as how her teachers are!
Teachers and staff are very knowledgeable and always approachable. We have been kindly shared with tips in many aspects, from phonic pronunciation, and drawing skills, across through school information and selection, to children's development...Truly thankful and grateful, and strongly recommend it!

We are very happy with Fountain Montessori Colindale. I really love the staff, they don’t just look after the children, but they truly love, nurture and look after them. Besides, the curriculum is very well built up and all the activities are very playful.
My child has learnt a lot since she started
and when she comes home she never fails to surprise us with all the amazing things she learnt at the nursery. She’s taught a lot of good behaviours, life skills and encouraged to do things independently.
I like that the nursery is fairly small and my child doesn’t get ‘lost’ amongst the other kids.
The nursery staff cooperates very closely with parents, communicating observations about the children and aligning on behavioural patterns. They proactively advise on how to tackle potential challenges, so the children are facing the same boundaries and principles at home and in the nursery.
