Fennies Beckenham, Kings Hall Road

Overall, it's been a great experience, and I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

Our son has now been at Fennies Kings Hall for 4 months and we are really happy with the transition from him being at home with me full time to being at nursery full time. Honestly couldn't fault it (despite the few lovely bugs and colds he's kindly brought home to share with us - which are inevitable for any nursery) we can see how much he loves coming into nursery, the staff (management and our explorers room) are all super lovely and caring and the communication is fantastic. I feel so happy dropping him off everyday as I know he's in great hands! The little activities they create for the babies daily are so wonderful and creative and seeing photos of it almost live time via the app brightens my day when I'm at work!

We left but I write this as a caution to others considering.

Fennies, Kingshall Road is an excellent nursery. The staff couldn't do more and are knowledgeable and invested in the development of the children and their wellbeing. Our daughter has thrived and loves attending.

My daughter really enjoyed her time at Fennies Kings Hall, the new management team and Team Leader really brought a new energy to the pre-school class and the activities are really well thought out. She has a strong bond with all of the nursery teachers, I always feel confident that she is supported and valued. Thanks for all your hard work team - we will miss you!

Our eldest boy recently finished at Fennies for school after four happy and fulfilling years at the nursery. Our youngest is now in his second year and similarly seems to enjoy his time there. The nursery environment is friendly and positive. Our boys were cared for as babies by warm and attentive staff, who evidently took pride in seeing them develop and meet their major milestones. As toddlers and pre-schoolers, our boys really enjoyed the ‘free-flow’ to the outdoor space, and were kept engaged via a varied range of thoughtful activities the staff run each day. They’ve also particularly enjoyed extra things like PE and languages provided by specialists. As with the sector as a whole, the nursery has grappled with staffing challenges from time-to-time, but it benefits from a core of committed and enthusiastic staff who take the time to get to know the children as individuals and evidently enjoy their work.

I would highly recommend and am so glad she has settled and enjoying her time at Fennies x

We have 3 kids at Fennies, Beckenham, so that probably says all you need to know, but just in case you'd like more information. Great location on a residential street easy to get to by train or car and has a real community spirit. Almost all parents exchange pleasantries at drop off and pickup, as their kids run in and out of the nursery. Our eldest has been going to Fennies since she was 1 and loved almost every day she's attended the setting. The team are fab and it feels like they truly care for your child. What makes this nursery exceptional is the consistency in the team (rare with nurseries as typically a steady churn of staff), which in my view is what gives the place its great reputation. Being part of a group means the company has invested in structured learning, a nutritional programme and mobile app, which provides daily updates on what your child's activities including plenty of photos. The main challenge you'll face is the waiting list, so get them on it ASAP!

The downside is we had to wait a long time for a place but it was well worth it. Well done Fennies Beckenham

We have received absolutely fantastic attention and care for our daughter, who has been attending Fennies Beckenham full time for almost three years. The ingenuity of the staff is a big factor in keeping our daughter engaged and involved throughout the day and her key workers have always been so dedicated and immersed in both the nursery setting and my daughter’s development. We shall be sending my son there next year and can’t rate them highly enough.

Have been so impressed with Fennies. Our little boy started end of 2019 and settled in so well. The last year has obviously been challenging with the current COVID-19 situation but the nursery have handled it extremely well and have continued to provide great service to our toddler which has been brilliant. He has built great relationships with the staff and his class friends and their online portal is a great way to see how his day is going and see what the class gets up to each week. The activities, food and support they provide is brilliant and we are very happy we picked Fennies.

My son has been at Fennies Beckenham for nine months and has developed tremendously during this time thanks to Fennies Beckenham and their wonderful staff. The nursery itself is a modern and clean setting with a beautiful garden, which my son thoroughly enjoys. The food they provide is nutritious and varied and their social mealtime setting for the kids is great, it is also evident that the staff are friendly, nurturing and caring. My son has bonded quickly with his key workers, both of whom have been fantastic and have managed to get the best out of him. His speech and knowledge of words has come on in leaps and bounds and he is already counting from one to ten, which we owe all to the excellent staff who create and implement fun and educational activities.

My son is excited to go to nursery everyday and usually stands at the door with his bag, babbling about all the friends he is going to see and the things he will be doing. Thank you Fennies for giving me peace of mind that my boy is well looked after.

Cannot recommend King's Hall nursery highly enough. We have two children currently there; both have been there since 10 months old so we know the nursery extremely well. The management and staff are all very kind and treat every child with respect and love. Both our children love attending nursery and this is due to the care that the staff takes to make sure they are happy and also developing well. The rooms are all bright and spacious with lots of resources for play. The staff are constantly thinking of new ways to challenge and make learning fun at each stage. The menu is varied and allergies and dietary issues are dealt with very well. The nursery has excelled during the Covid pandemic; they have kept parents updated and ensured the children are kept calm in a worrying time. The new yoga, French, Spanish, Art and PE sessions are great which have been continued virtually where needed. Excellent place!

My daughter has been at Fennies for over two years and we have been very happy with our choice of nursery. She is well looked after, the activities are varied and appropriate, and she thoroughly enjoys her days there. The staff are helpful and supportive. It’s been a pleasure to see how well she’s developing. The new online journal is useful for getting insight into activities. My son will be starting at Fennies soon and I’m sure he will have just as much fun as his sister does.

I've always been very happy with my child and the level of support and development she achieves here. I really notice a difference when I compare her to children I know who don't attend nursery and I know they give her a better start at her milestones than I ever could if I were to stay at home with her.

My child is very well looked after at Fennies Beckenham and has a good relationship with the staff, particularly those who have acted as her key worker. She has grown in confidence since going there and is always doing new things. The new tapestry system is excellent to give parents an insight into what she does each day.

My son has attended Fennies Beckenham full time since he was 11 months. We have always been happy with all aspects of the nursery. The activities are imaginative and stimulative and the staff really caring. The nursery has contributed enormously to his development. Would recommend to other parents wholeheartedly!
