Christchurch Kindergarten Children's Nursery was founded in Harrow in 1970.

Children enjoy learning to develop as individuals, through a programme of intellectual, social, creative and physical activities.

It achieved an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted following an inspection 28 February 2017.

Its Ofsted report published 21 March 2017 said staff form excellent relationships with children and their parents. It stated: 'Children settle very quickly and have excellent attitudes to learning and a thirst for knowledge. Children's behaviour is exemplary. '

My son was happy from the first day he attended the nursery. The staff are friendly and supportive. I could contact them for any query and get advice and explanation straight away. They do lots of activities every week. The communication is excellent, and the parents are aware of what their children
do during the day.

My daughter learn a lot. All nursery staff are encouraging her a lot. They have a good learning environment and different activities. Every week they introduce lots of activities. They take too much care of each child personally I feel a lot. They take care of my daughter's language skill development.
When she really needs support when she goes to the toilet, lunchtime and ready to go home they will help. My child doesn't feel uncomfortable when she go to nursery. She is so happy and enjoys it.

It's quite a good nursery and I am quite happy with the development of my child. He learnt quite a lot, became quite independent. All the staff members are really good and helpful and my child's key caretaker is superb. I also like the fact that they identify the interest of the child and use it to
foster learning. The staff is quite committed to the development of the children and overall, I am a happy parent.

My son has been attending the nursery since January and I can see huge development changes since I have registered him. The staff are brilliant and always supportive and helpful, they are an excellent team. Management is really good and flexible. Lots of events are organised within the setting which
are fantastic and enjoyable. I recommend the nursery to everyone as it is an outstanding nursery.

I am very happy with my child coming to this nursery we have seen him grow and he seems happy here, which is the main thing for us. All the staff are very caring and friendly.
The staff and environment all are positive which gives us parents satisfaction and assurance that our child is in safe hands.
The
only thing I would like to mention is that the outside play area especially the brick wall should be guarded with something so if a child trips or falls they don't get hurt badly. Even the grass area should be clear of all hazards, as kids do run and can get hurt.
Otherwise all else is excellent and we are very happy with all the staff at Christchurch Kindergarten Harrow.

Extremely happy with the care and education provided by the nursery staff. Regular updates of child's education and progress are reported frequently. Staff are very pleasant and responsive. My daughter has settled so well since September 2018. The staff are very engaging and attentive to the needs of my girl and she has developed exceptionally well.
As a nursery manager myself, it is clear to see how hard this nursery manager works to ensure not only the children but the staff are happy
in a well organised and homely environment.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for three months. She is 1.5 years old and since day one she settled. The manager is so friendly and loving towards children. I also like the fact there is one big space for all the children so there is good visibility. They also have an app where you receive
updates of what your child is doing, which we found lovely. We can see how there is an effort to maintain high standards. Overall, it is a friendly and loving place for children.

Supporting and helpful staff and they are very approachable. A wide range of learning and activities area for children. When my daughter came home, I can notice that each day she is learning something new but a little bit more focus is needed on writing. Otherwise, I am overall happy.

Hi, my name is Rita Kamdar, and I am the Area Manager/Manager of CK Harrow. I have had the pleasure of working here since 2013 and have truly cherished being part of such a nurturing and supportive environment.


I hold a Level 5 qualification (Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare) and have undergone 20 years of extensive training in Child development.
