Christchurch Kindergarten Children's Nursery was founded in Harrow in 1970.

Children enjoy learning to develop as individuals, through a programme of intellectual, social, creative and physical activities.

It achieved an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted following an inspection 28 February 2017.

Its Ofsted report published 21 March 2017 said staff form excellent relationships with children and their parents. It stated: 'Children settle very quickly and have excellent attitudes to learning and a thirst for knowledge. Children's behaviour is exemplary. '

Excellent support from the staff and all the services provided for my non-verbal child (son aged 3). He had special needs, and they gave me all the support I wanted from them for my son. All three of my children have attended this nursery age ranging 10 to my youngest who is 4, I have never been more satisfied with the staff, the growth they have experienced, and the nurturing environment that fosters a love for learning and socialising. It is truly an outstanding place.

One of the best nurseries, my son enjoyed his time here, and hence I opted for the same nursery for my daughter. She loves going to the nursery and also the teachers who make sure to keep you informed about the progress made by the child. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Christchurch Kindergarten has truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the very first visit, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and care. The environment was not only welcoming and joyful but also well-organized and filled with engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. It was clear that
the staff genuinely care about each child.


Over the years, I've seen visible, day-by-day progress in both of my daughters. Their confidence, communication, and love for learning have grown in ways that continue to amaze me. This is entirely thanks to the incredible dedication, patience, and passion of the teaching team.


A very special thank you to three teachers in particular, who have all been important parts of our lives throughout these years. You helped shape and guide both of my girls with kindness and love, and I honestly couldn't ask for better teachers. We miss you so much, and you'll always have a special place in our hearts and memories.

I am very happy with the nursery and the services provided. All staff are amazing, they all show caring and compassion to my son. My son progress so much over the years he attended the nursery and now he is ready for school. His learning, his behaviour, he shows respect and compassion to his peers,

It was a great experience for my little one. She loved the teachers and they were very friendly and professional. What I found is, this kindergarten gave me, as a parent, a sense of peace when I leave my child, who is only 2 years and 5 months old. Even if the separation was more difficult, and because of me as a parent I take it every day, but the child is smiling, happy. Only words of praise I can say about this

The staff are really good prepared, they are doing a lot of activities with children every week and are sharing pictures in the app. They provide a safe and warm place for children which is reassuring for parents. They are supporting children with SEN very well and are working hard to get ready a EHCP
in time for school. They have a really nice garden where children can burn their energy, a nice sensory room. Great nursery!

Our daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time at the nursery over the past two years. We've clearly seen her improvement throughout the last year, and it's been amazing to watch her grow. The teachers are well trained, friendly, and provide a nurturing environment that has helped our daughter thrive.
