Chingford House Nursery

Our two children have been very happy at Chingford House and we have felt very supported by the wonderful staff and management. We love the family environment and the fact that all the staff know the children and that there aren't agency staff. It gives a real consistency of care which makes the children feel secure. The teachers are brilliant at organising interesting themes for the children and taking the time to tailor them to the interests of the group. In the final term before school, our son has enjoyed all the special trips out to museums. The nursery has been very good at supporting our son who has had a speech delay. We have had regular meetings with the nursery manager and his teachers to monitor his progress and they have helped implement the recommendations from his speech therapists and have suggested other techniques and games to encourage him. It's thanks to their effort and support that he has made such good progress. We can't recommend them enough!

We are so happy that we chose Chingford House. Our child has been part of a second family for three years now. The nursery communicates so well and we get a sense that our little girl is safe and looked after as well as if she was at home. I'm always surprised when she comes home reciting songs or numbers or telling me facts about space. They do some amazing learning! I was also surprised to see a nursery organising wonderful trips to places like the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.

Chingford House Nursery is absolutely fantastic. They take great care of the children and show true investment in their progress and happiness. They work closely with parents to ensure that the next steps in their development are clear and being worked on at home and in the nursery. Our toddler always comes home having clearly had a great day. They do great activities with the children and keep them engaged and interested throughout the day. Our child has SEN and they have been super with regards to ensuring they're doing everything they can for him and carrying out the physio and other areas of focus we've been advised to. Couldn't recommend enough.

Lovely staff and nursery! They all genuinely care about our children and make solid bonds with the kids. They organize some pretty special trips out and our daughter always comes home happy and excited to share what she’s done for the day. We are enjoying our time with the nursery.

My daughter currently attends CHN, and I have an older child who transitioned to school last year. My experience of the nursery with both of my children has been excellent. All of the staff are kind, considerate, and passionate about childcare. They are led by very professional and experienced management. My children have thrived in the caring, fun, and safe environment created by the team. Highly recommended!

Fantastic nursery. The staff were very supportive of my child's needs. The communications were excellent and they would accommodate any additional requests. Helped my daughter with her potty training and getting her ready to start primary school. Different activities every day to help her grow and develop. She was so happy here, a home away from home.

My son has been attending since he was 11 months old and he is now off to reception. We have both loved his experience there. The staff have been amazing and he has developed so much. I have always felt at ease leaving him there. Thank you Chingford House.

Friendly staff, shown love and care to my child. My child is in Sunflowers and loved it every day when we send her to nursery. It's a pity we are leaving this nursery due to work reasons, we will miss all the wonderful staff here.

My son has attended Chingford House Nursery for over a year. The class sizes are small so he has a great connection with the staff and other kids and it feels like his learning is progressing really well. It means he has moved rooms a couple of times to keep in his age group, but each time there has been a transition period, and when I asked if he could move early to stay with friends, they did as soon as they were able to. The staff in every room are wonderful and my son is always excited to see his key worker and to tell me what he's done at nursery that day which seems to be quite varied. They also seem to spend lots of time in their garden/outdoor play area. Chingford House Nursery staff feel so much warmer and more caring than other nurseries we went to see when deciding. My son is very happy here!

Couldn't be happier. Great, attentive staff that work with your needs for my daughter. She's been there since she was 9 months and is now 1 year. She actively smiles and points at the door when I drop her off. We, as a family, are really happy with her progress. She eats well and has now started walking. The staff are really encouraging when she shows an interest in things like the walking. They were also really good in working with us when achieving her nap at a good time of day for her.

We are very happy with the care that our daughter receives, we think the staff do an amazing job and feel they genuinely care for our children. We go to work feeling relaxed that they are in very safe and capable hands and knowing that they are having a great time with their friends and learning new things. We would recommend the nursery to anyone.

Our son started at Chingford House Nursery in March this year. We chose the nursery above others as on our first visit the duty of care and attention the nursery showed to our boy was far more attentive than the more clinical experience we had with others. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the staff at this nursery. It was really hard to choose the right place to send my then 9 month old, but everyone was really supportive and reassuring. My daughter’s key person makes us feel comfortable and updates on her progress daily. If you’re looking for a home away home for your child, I would definitely recommend Chingford House Nursery.

Our daughter has settled in really well at Chingford house and we have seen her development excel since joining. The staff are completely on point and so lovely. Even if a staff member isn’t your child’s “key person” they are very much in the know and fill you in with your exactly how the day went from what they ate to any other important info. The nursery management provides updates via email newsletters which feel like they’ve had time put into them rather than just fancy marketing emails. We love the events they put on such as sports days, Easter parades, etc. Looking forward to seeing how our daughter continues to develop during her time at the nursery.

My son really enjoys his time at nursery and is full of enthusiasm for all the activities the nursery offers. He has particularly enjoyed the forest school outings and other little trips his class have been able to take part in recently. He has a great relationship with his key person, who is wonderful, but is also confident in his relationships with other staff members, all of whom are caring and considerate. I've been particularly impressed this year with the effort made to ensure our son is 'school ready.' The nursery has a very friendly and nurturing atmosphere, and I would highly recommend it.

My son settled in very well here and has formed great relationships with peers and staff. From teary mornings to now happily walking into the nursery, he is enjoying himself. The staff are great and manage to put him to sleep so easily, something I still struggle with! Overall, very satisfied with his care at the nursery.
