Buttercups Syon Park has separate rooms for different age groups and a quiet sleep room. Preschool children enjoy the dedicated Montessori classroom where qualified Montessori teachers guide them in independent learning. Forest School sessions take place in the on-site forest area where children are taught to use tools, build dens and learn about nature.

Our little boy has attended Buttercups Syon Park since he was 10 months old. He loves the staff and always comes home happy from a day at the nursery. The outdoor space is fantastic and enables the children to have lots of playtime outside. We're very happy with the nursery overall.

The teachers are lovely and great with kids. My little one loves it at this nursery. I love their weekly updates and the pictures that help me see how she spends her day at school. She has learnt so much in such a short period of time. It's a great nursery.

Our eldest son joined Buttercups at Syon Park 5 years ago and our youngest is still there. The nursery has gone from strength to strength and now has a well-established and experienced leadership team. The school provisions are excellent and ensure a fantastic education. My eldest transitioned seamlessly to primary school with a strong foundation both in the Early Years Foundation Stage and in social skills. Buttercups is a beautiful environment for children to grow in and the daily menu is nutritious and fresh. I am so glad I found Buttercups at Syon Park for my children, worth every penny.

This nursery is wonderful. My son is in the under two year old group. He discovers and learns so many things every day, with craft sessions related to the calendar’s events, reading time and free play. Also, we don’t have a garden at home so it is great that he can play in the nursery’s garden, jumping in puddles, running, climbing, playing with frogs and worms. He loves the food that is being served and sleeps well. I know that he is looked after very well by his teachers who are very caring and trustworthy. They follow the Covid-19 guidelines and we get a nice newsletter with loads of pictures. This week kids got to handle baby chickens that hatched just a few days ago, how amazing is that!

My daughter has been attending since January 2021, we were apprehensive about sending her to nursery during national lockdown but the nursery has made this an absolutely smooth transition. The staff have been very kind and friendly. We get daily feedback upon collecting her and also an email is sent out to parents everyday informing them of the daily activities and any reminders. We love the weekly newsletter which incorporates photos from the week and what our little one has been up to. Our daughter is now learning new skills from going and watching others and improving her very fussy food palate, with the encouragement of her teachers too. Overall, the nursery has been amazing in settling her in and I would definitely recommend to others.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old. She adored all the early setting teachers and was very sad when, due to the 1st lockdown, upon returning she went into over 2's - we all felt like we missed out on saying goodbye! She has settled in brilliantly to her new class and the teachers have been fantastic in what is a very challenging situation for everyone. I’m glad that they have managed to stay open and not had any cases, so they are clearly working very hard on sanitation (behind the big wall!). Thank you very much for taking such care of my daughter.

We have tried a few childminders and nurseries in the area and Buttercups at Syon are by far the best. They are a forest school so spend a lot of time outside (even in the rain in their waterproofs). We have tried a few childminders and nurseries in the area and Buttercups at Syon are by far the best. They are a forest school so spend a lot of time outside (even in the rain in their waterproofs). They do so many activities all day - painting, reading, singing, creating art in all different ways (I didn't even know myself possible). They constantly educate kids about colours, shapes, numbers, talking to them and explaining things around them - my daughter started saying please and thank you after the first week there (which I didn't teach her as we speak a different language at home). The teachers are kind and enthusiastic, the manager is the most efficient, responsive and creative. The food is healthy and delicious (never expected my daughter to eat 100% every time as she is quite picky at home). The weekly reports we get as parents are very cool - always looking forward to reading what my daughter did and say that week. Highly recommend this place.

The staff I have met have been friendly and responded positively to most of my feedback and requests. As I am still not allowed past the entrance gate, nursery feels a bit like a black box as on most days all I am told is that my daughter was fine. I have not met the teachers who look after my daughter and don't receive personal feedback from her keyworker who I only saw at settling in. Food on daily forms is also not updated and so I don't know what my daughter has eaten. The manager is professional and has always responded very clearly and positively to all my queries and concerns. She was particularly good when my daughter was scratched by another child.

Thank you for your review and feedback, it is always useful to hear from our parents. Obviously this is a difficult time for children to be joining a nursery as the COVID restrictions mean that we are unable to allow parents within the nursery building. We understand that this can be unsettling, which is why we provide daily feedback sheets for all our babies and toddlers. These sheets detail your child's nappy changes, sleep times, food eaten and the activities they have taken part in during the day. All of this is completed by your child's keyworker, so whilst it might not feel like there is personal feedback, there is via this sheet. On top of this, we invite all our parents to contact us by phone or email if they have any specific questions or concerns, and we can even set up meetings via Zoom if you wish to talk to your child's keyworker. Finally, as you will have heard we also have a Parent's Consultation via Zoom coming up on 19th October.

I could not be happier with Buttercups. The environment is super positive, a very large yard, it is safe and the staff has been sharing the details about my kid's development on a daily basis. From day 1, I had the confidence we've made the right choices. They are creative and propose different activities so kids learn, explore and build their confidence with joy. It's been three months since my son joined this nursery and it is visible that he's learning, confident, happy and developing social skills. Kudos to the entire staff, it is really a great place.
