Buttercups Syon Park combines Montessori and Forest School in a beautiful setting with a wrap-around garden. As with all Buttercups nurseries, Syon Park focuses on "learning through play" where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning. They also believe in the importance of nature and time outside.

Buttercups Syon Park has separate rooms for different age groups and a quiet sleep room. Preschool children enjoy the dedicated Montessori classroom where qualified Montessori teachers guide them in independent learning. Forest School sessions take place in the on-site forest area where children are taught to use tools, build dens and learn about nature.

The nursery is very proud of their team of educators. At Buttercups they believe that a well-cared for team results is well-cared for children, so they are committed to making sure staff feel supported, rewarded and challenged. They continually develop the skills and qualifications of the team through extensive in-house training programmes and external courses.

My daughter has settled in really well at Buttercups at Syon Park. She has a great bond with the staff who are always so warm and kind. They take such an active interest in her development and give us excellent updates each day.

I'm always so impressed with one member of staff in particular's professionalism as well as her positive and supportive approach whenever we have a consultation, about my youngest or eldest (as SENCO). She is so well prepared and informed and it is always a really useful discussion.
The manager always
replies very promptly and has ensured that everyone is well prepared and trained in supporting my son's food allergy.
They have been excellent in their care of my eldest son from 1 year to 4 and I know he will miss his teachers such as two in particular. They have educated the other children on his hearing aid so they are considerate and kind, and my son sees it as his superpower rather than anything negative or different.
Through all the different phases they have been a great support to their learning and development, and many great friends have been made there.

I cannot recommend the nursery enough, it is set in a unique setting within Syon Park with lots of greenery, outside space and is an ideal size for children to be attended with dedication, attention, care. All is done in a safe, pleasant, happy environment. My daughter has been there since she was 9
months old and have always been extremely happy with the level of seriousness, professionalism, love and care that each of the staff show on a daily basis. The exposure to learnings is well-thought out at each right stage. Regular feedback is provided for parents. Detailed account of the day in both academical, play and nutrition is always given for parent's knowledge and weekly newsletter with photos. It will be hard when my daughter has to leave when starting school as it has been such a welcoming homely nursery for her and feel really fortunate to have had my daughter be in such a special establishment in the first years of her life and I am sure she will remember it for always.

We have been very happy with this nursery since our daughter joined them about 6 months ago, at the age of 2 and a half. The teachers are loving and caring, paying close attention to what each child like or dislike, as well as their safety, while making their time in nursery fun and educational.
The
overall environment and routine feel very healthy: plenty of time outdoors, food with no added sugars, good habits such as cleaning their teeth, no screens. They also like to promote independence which is something they will benefit from when they go to reception later on.
The management is excellent at communication with the parents and respond promptly to any questions, comments, etc. They are very well-organised, and this is something that scales down to the children's room.
A couple of final points, in comparison to our previous nursery, no personal items have ever been lost here and children's clothes have never been permanently ruined by paint or other fun activities.

My daughter has attended Syon Buttercups for the last year and absolutely loves it. The teachers are amazing! Very caring, friendly, attentive and they teach the kids great skills (both creative and general). Key workers take the time to tell you at the end of each day how your child has been, what
they have eaten and if they have noticed anything (emotionally or physically). They are really great! Management of the nursery is also run well and it reassures you that your kids are in safe hands. The facilities of the nursery are great too! Lots of outdoor space and rooms full of creative and educational equipment.
I am really happy we chose this nursery for our daughter.

Our daughter attends the nursery since she's a baby, and she loves it! She's now in preschool, and there isn't a day she's not excited about going to the nursery. A lot of activities, including Montessori and an amazing outdoor space. The staff are super friendly; they give daily feedback about the
day. They have a stay-and-play session for parents every week to visit the nursery, they visit the park, the garden centre, and the pet's place with the kids; it's truly an amazing early year setting.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. The love and care the staff give my child is outstanding. My daughter has been here since 5 months old and is now 3 years old and the development we have seen in her is down to the great encouraging developmental nature of the environment the nursery provides.
The outdoor space and the facilities, in general, are unrivalled, my daughter loves the food and the most important aspect is she is very happy here!

Great location. Rare outdoor space and activities. But nothing can compare to the care teachers provide. The fact that my daughter can't wait to come back to nursery every Monday to see her friends and teachers says it all. Manager is easy to approach and get help from. Very friendly and problem-solving

My younger daughter has been at the nursery for a year, she started at the baby group and is moving to the 'over 2s' and my older daughter finished Preschool last year. We are extremely happy with the nursery, the main reason for that is the super friendly staff - they greet kids and parents with great
enthusiasm every morning, they take time to understand how each child is feeling that day and they give a good summary of the day during pick-up. My kids attended other nurseries in the past and I've never seen such a vast outdoor space, there is even a separate garden for babies and older kids. Management is also friendly and accommodating, we receive regular newsletters with tons of pictures and videos which is a great way to open a conversation with your kids. There are also plenty of events when parents can stay and play. This is the best nursery in the area, so glad we managed to get space for both kids. Thank you to all staff for being a part of my kids childhood!

We are so pleased with Buttercup at Syon Park Day Nursery. As soon as we saw the wonderful and vast outside space, we were so excited. The staff are as excellent as the facilities. Our daughter loves her key worker, feedback is detailed and personal and even staff in other spaces of the nursery seem
to know her. Activities are very creative and wide-ranging and food is all home-cooked on site which was really important to us. Our daughter started at 11 months and every care was taken to match her home routine and help her adjust. Staff are so friendly and caring. This is a fantastic nursery!

Our daughter started at Buttercups Syon Park just before she turned 1 year old and she settled in right away with absolutely no issues. The staff are wonderful and my daughter squeals with excitement when she sees them in the morning. As a first time mother returning to full time work, I was very nervous
to leave her but I need not have worried at all. She has a great time, is very well cared for and partakes in lots of fun activities. I especially love the weekly photo updates and the communication from the nursery and the setting inside Syon Park is wonderful - a little slice of countryside in a busy part of West London. The walk through the park and along the river is a lovely peaceful way to start and end the day. I could not recommend Buttercups Syon Park highly enough.

Our daughter has been at Buttercups for almost five months. She's now 14 months old. She is having a great time, and we are so happy with the place. The staff are lovely and seem to have so much love for the children. We love the email updates and feel confident that our daughter is developing well,

My daughter has been attending this nursery for several months now. We are very happy with how much she is learning and the activities that they involve the kids with on a daily basis. The staff are especially attentive, caring and understanding. They take the time to get to know the kids very well
and form bonds with them and I can definitely see that in the strong connection that my daughter has developed with them. She also loves the outdoor play area and everything the nursery has to offer.

I cannot fault Syon Park, Buttercups. My daughter looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends every day and talks about it all the time. She has learnt a lot over the last year and I am confident that she is in the right place. She gets lots of outdoor time and cuddles from her wonderful teachers,
especially one in particular. We saw lots of nurseries and we are very glad we chose Syon Park, Buttercups. It is an amazing environment for emotional and cognitive development.

I would like to share feedback on the stay and play session we attended on the 16th of May 2022. This is a great initiative which gave us the opportunity to come inside the nursery and take a look at how our little one is spending her day and also the set-up around the nursery. One staff member, in

Brilliant nursery with wonderful teachers and a great experience with the nursery to date. My daughter joined in October 2020. Apprehensive, due to the pandemic, but equally, so happy we did. She has come home happy every day she's been there, singing songs and speaking fondly of her teachers. I have
seen huge developments since my daughter started at Buttercups and want to thank all the staff who have contributed. The forest school and all the activities the teachers put together are great, as well as the accompanying pictures we get to see, weekly. Healthy nutritious food and snacks too! All the teachers work incredibly hard, showing a great deal of care and going as far as to know the names of all the children in the nursery. Definitely recommend the Buttercups, Syon Park to others.
