Bright Horizons Kenton Day Nursery and Preschool

My two children are extremely happy and settled at this nursery. The staff are really caring and attentive, my children have a great relationship with the staff. The children engage in a range of activities throughout the day, which as a parent, we are able to see using the app. I am really pleased with the nurturing environment the nursery has provided for my children and has provided them with the foundations they need at this age.

My son was moved from Northwick Park to Kenton in November 2021. The change over went very smoothly, all the staff supported him in his transition. The manager's communication is A*, always greets every parent at the door, gives thorough updates and is always supportive. The staff in the pre-toddler room have been exceptional with supporting my son through his speech. The app that Kenton Nursery use, has been so good and reliable, which enables us to have speedy collections. I am very pleased with the nursery and happy my son has got to experience such a fantastic setting.

My son joined at 9 months old. The staff have all been amazing throughout my time with them. I have seen my son progress as a little baby and even though he cries when I drop him, I know he is looked after and cared for by the team there. I would definitely recommend Kenton Day Nursery and Preschool to my friends and family.

Bright Horizons Kenton has done an excellent job in taking care of my child in the toddler room. My child is often referring to things she has learnt at nursery and singing songs. I am looking forward to seeing her develop further in pre-school.

I am extremely happy with my son's progress from the time he joined after lockdown, to date. We see lots of developments and improvements in his behaviour and he has learned a lot in terms of acknowledging things, safety, behaviour, emotions and improvement in communication as well. We still expect some more development in certain areas of food intake, details about activities in preschool and expect from staff to publish photos and videos on the app so we can actually see them inside. But overall we are very happy with the nursery.

My son started at the nursery when he was 16 months old. The long settling in period was very useful as my son found it difficult to settle initially. The staff in all the rooms do an amazing job and look after the children very well. The Nursery Manager is very helpful and is happy to give advice on any issues children might be experiencing. She provides regular email updates on what the children have been up to in the different rooms. My son had a good time at the Nursery and fondly remembers his time there, now that he is in school.

They have all done their best given the constraints over the last couple of years.

My little one started going to the nursery when he was 10 months old. The support we received from the management and staff was very pleasing. He spent 3.5 years in the nursery and we never had to worry about anything. The staff is very friendly and they look after kids like their own. I will highly recommend this nursery to parents who are looking for good options.

It is a very nurturing place for my child to grow and develop. The teachers are friendly and supportive. My child has always felt welcomed at the nursery. It is very culturally enriching as it observes all kind of faiths and celebrations throughout the year. It encourages your child to learn and know about the world around them as well as how to communicate and be kind to others.

My son joined the baby room at 11 months and is now in preschool. My daughters who now attend school in years 1 and 3, also joined from the nursery room so I have been with the nursery for many years. I have had a really amazing experience. Each of my children have enjoyed their experience and I feel, show clear development during their time there. Some activities, like cooking which each of my girls loved, have had to be taken away by covid but equally, the nursery has created a really great learning experience during these difficult times. Really lovely staff and would definitely highly recommend it.

As every parent experiences, we too were anxious about our one-year-old starting nursery. However, the staff at Bright Horizons Kenton truly care and make the settling-in process as pleasant as possible. Thereafter, our little man has only thrived. He only goes nursery for two days but he has learnt to play and eat independently. Most importantly, he enjoys the company of his key person. I have no qualms in recommending this nursery to others.

The nursery have been fantastic with welcoming the children back after COVID closure and went the extra mile to help the children settle in by sharing photos of the staff with their masks on ahead of opening which was welcome. My son joined the nursery in the baby room and has now graduated from the preschool room and the staffing and nursery have been excellent with the range of food menus, extra settling in, frequent updates with key people and I have seen my son grow into a very talkative and confident boy. Great nursery and thanks very much.

Moving to London and finding a new nursery was such a worry for my husband and I. Bright Horizons have me as much time as I needed to feel comfortable regardless of how quick my son settled in. This was a great start to our journey together. The focus that was put into my son straight away was reflected in his listening skills, behaviour, manners and most of all, speech. We couldn't be happier with our choice of placement. Our son is blossoming thanks to the staff's focus.

My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Kenton (formally Asquith) since she was 13 months. With a struggled start, we have seen her grow and develop in so many ways. The staff have been fantastic in supporting her to build her confidence. As she approaches the end of her time at the nursery, we reflect on the fantastic journey she has been through from baby room to preschool. Staff are always engaging and pleasant. Since the manager has joined, we have seen some positive changes and appreciate the team's effort that goes into all the daily activities. This nursery has left a lasting impression on us.

It is clear to see (and experience) the amount of investment that the manageress has made to improve the facilities at the nursery and the learning environment and activities. The preschool and nursery closely follow the early years curriculum, making sure the kids learning and development is rich and varied. I am very grateful for the focus they have given to the preschool children in terms of preparing them for school. I also appreciate the focus on safety and teaching this to the children too. The only one improvement would be to have parents evenings or something equivalent and more reports i.e. on a term by term basis so we can work with the nursery to develop our child.
