Overall Experience

Both our daughters started Richmond Day Nursery in the baby room and have progressed through all the rooms to nursery room and preschool. Overall we have been very happy with our experience, the nursery provides a very caring environment, with some really lovely staff and we are extremely pleased with the development and progress of both girls. They look forward to nursery and talk enthusiastically about their friends, teachers and various activities. We are so pleased that we chose the nursery for our girls!

Overall Experience

My son has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old. All staff made a very nervous first time mum feel at home to ask any questions and put me at ease when leaving him for the first time. He is very happy and loves going to nursery to play with his friends and get involved in all the fun activities they offer. I am always happy to leave him there as I know I can feel 100% confident he is being cared for well.

Overall Experience

The nursery provides a substantial settling-in programme. Staff are welcoming and positive relationships are established with children and carers. Regular written feedback on a child's progress is sent home, in addition to the informal conversation that accompanies handover. The homemade food is wholesome and extra portions are available. There are a good range of activities - books, musical toys, jigsaws and an indoor climbing corner. The outdoor play area is well resourced and safety is paramount. Safeguarding regulations are explained on the first visit. Our baby is well cared for and enjoys going to nursery.
