Bright Horizons Maythorne Cottages Day Nursery and Preschool

I’m really happy with this nursery.
The staff are very friendly and professional.
They care deeply about children’s development, and communication is great with parents, and they take feedback into account.

My son is really happy there.

My almost 4-year-old has attended the nursery for over 2 years, and I am extremely happy with the care that is provided. She has experienced three different rooms, as she progressed in age, and in each the care and attention were outstanding and I always felt really happy with how she was being looked after.
Now that she is in the pre-school room, there is an excellent focus on fun learning activities, and her writing is really progressing and most importantly she finds it fun. The carers incorporate really fun activities into each day as they learn about space, parts of the body, the senses etc. and I love hearing stories about fun activities from each day. The arts and crafts activities are also excellent, and the carers have recently gone the extra mile in tailoring these to my daughter's particular interests.

The nursery communications and management have been excellent recently - I feel very well informed as a parent and would not hesitate in recommending the nursery.

I really like Maythorne Cottages. My daughter came across from another nursery and continues to flourish! We noticed things like her use of ‘Yea’ changed to ‘Yes’ quite quickly after she started and her language seemed to progress even further after a few weeks. The staff are lovely and are very caring and management do a wonderful job of getting to know all the children and parents. Communication between the nursery and parents is also great given the current Pandemic. I’ve had several phone calls about how my daughter is getting on with her key worker and from management. They’ve also been very supportive with our recent potty training and nap dropping!

I think they're doing a fantastic job given the challenges they're under.
