Tenderlinks Day Nursery - Streatham

Hi, I’m Sonia and I am the manager at Tenderlinks Day Nursery in Streatham. I have been the manager since March 2021.

Watching a child grow and reach their potential is one of life’s greatest pleasures and knowing that I get to experience this every day gives me a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment.
With a background from Portugal, we have a strong family ethos, this always gave me opportunities to be around children and I guess in a way it was the beginning of my path into childcare.
I have been in the industry for over 19 years, working my way through various age groups and ranks, this gave me the opportunity to gaining experience, knowledge and obtain my qualifications along the way.

I started my career early in 2003 in a small setting in London, I then moved on to bigger settings where I was fortunate to be able to develop my knowledge through education. I began by gaining relevant qualifications which included my NVQ’s in childcare as well as being able to go to university where I was awarded my BA Hons degree in teaching and learning.

To be given the opportunity of becoming Tenderlinks manager is a pleasure, alongside my team we aim to provide a secure and stimulating environment, with the feal of a home from home. We follow the children’s interests and feed their curious minds through various approaches. We aim to give them the best start to their development as well as their learning journey.

Hello, my name is Christina, Currently the deputy manager at Tenderlinks Streatham.

I’ve always had a passion for children and working here has allowed me to have a positive impact on their lives. I am also the head of Under 2’s room. For how challenging it can be sometimes the joys that this role comes with will always bring me joys and memories that will forever be treasured.

Apart from working I also enjoy travelling and trying new restaurants. I enjoy making memories with my family and friends

I have been working with Tenderlinks since March and it has been fun and a learning curve.
I am currently head of pre-school and I am a level 3 qualified in Children and young adult workforce. Being head of room has its ups and downs but its joys that bring at the end of the day makes everything worthy.
I enjoy traveling, shopping, listening to music and dancing. I have a daughter who I enjoy quality family time with.
I enjoy working in my team and I use my initiative in the day-to-day run of the room.

I have worked at Tenderlinks since 2019, I am currently in toddler’s room also called squirrels. What I love about Tenderlinks is the combination of things from working with a great team to seeing the children grow and develop into their little selves.

Hi, my name is Bozena and I work with the under 2's at Tenderlinks.

I’ve been working with children over the past 10 years. I am a qualified level 2 and I've been working with children aged 3-5 years and 2-3 years old. I am very bubbling and caring. I am a creative person and enjoy messy playing with children to support social and emotional development. I believe that every child should be treated equally and given all the support they need using the curriculum guidelines laid down in the statutory early years’ foundation.

Hi I’m Sophie, I am currently an apprentice here at Tenderlinks – Streatham.
I am based in under 2’s and I enjoy spending quality time with the children and creating fun memories together. I enjoy creating challenges in day-to-day activities.
I enjoy baking and spending time with my friends.

I am an apprentice at Tenderlinks Day Nursery, currently studying level 2 in the early years. I'm very passionate about what I do. I enjoy working with children. Just seeing them grow and develop is the most amazing thing I can experience.
I love seafood, fruits, vegetables, and water. I love flowers. My favourite colour is red, and I enjoy working out.
