Our daughter has been going to Tenderlinks in Streatham for a year and a half and she loves it. You can feel it's a great and warm environment when you walk in and that the children are well taken care of. The staff works hard and is lovely and supportive to both children and parents.

Our son spent five months at Tenderlinks Streatham from the age of 12 months. We were so pleased with the nursery, although it is small, the staff make sure the kids experience is highly enjoyable, with trips to the local common and fun activities inside the nursery.

Our son spent five months at Tenderlinks Streatham from the age of 12 months. We were so pleased with the nursery, although it is small, the staff make sure the kids experience is highly enjoyable, with trips to the local common and fun activities inside the nursery. The highlight for us were the staff. They put their all into making sure the children are happy and secure. They kept us up-to-date with everything our son was up to and gave us ideas for how to work on his developmental milestones. Although our son was only there for a short amount of time, he made strong connections with the staff and the other children, and was clearly very happy spending five days a week here - walking straight in the door every morning not even looking back at us!
We would highly recommend this nursery.

Great nursery - our daughter has been there for over two years and loved every minute of it. The staff are warm and caring and it's a lovely place for our daughter to spend time and learn. We have had no issues since she's been there and would heartily recommend it.

I would recommend Tenderlinks Streatham to all parents, both my sons attended Tenderlinks Streatham, and they absolutely love(d) it. My eldest is going to reception now, but my youngest is still attending Tenderlinks Streatham. The staff is caring, loving and friendly, you can tell they really care about the children. The communication with the parents is fantastic as well. They organise a lot of things for the children and their parents, which is absolutely amazing.
the garden is a bit small, but still big enough for the children to play a lot, and they go out to the park as well.

My daughter started at Tenderlinks Streatham in April 2023. She was very quiet and shy out of our home or away from me. Since being at Tenderlinks she has come out of her shell she talks about her day and all her friends there.

My daughter started at Tenderlinks Streatham in April 2023. She was very quiet and shy out of our home or away from me. Since being at Tenderlinks she has come out of her shell she talks about her day and all her friends there.
She wakes up in the morning and asks to go to school as she puts it. All the staff have been lovely and our always so helpful if I need to ask anything. I can see a big positive change in my daughter. I was worried when she first joined if she would settle but she's so happy there I can't ask for more.

Our little boy started at Tenderlinks Day Nursery when he was 8 months. Leaving him to go back to work was a big thing for us and I was really anxious but the team have made it a great experience for him and he is visibly happy to go. He has become less shy and can really see how he is developing socially as a result. The team are so flexible and accommodating of our requests and have really helped to make it a very smooth transition for us all. I feel happy leaving him there during the day and know he’ll be well cared for.

Lovely nursery with staff that are caring and kind. They do lots of activities and there’s a great selection of toys and books. Very accommodating to children with allergies and the app they use to update parents is great. The baby room is really big with a soft carpeted area for playing and a shiny floor area for having lunch etc, but it’s nice and bright and is the same size as the toddler room (unlike a lot of other nurseries in the area). The only small downside is that the outside space is small, however, they go to the park a lot so it’s not such an issue.
My son has a lovely time every time he goes. Highly recommend.

My son joined in January 2023 and just like any new parent sending their child to nursery, we have all the doubts in the world but I was put at ease by all the staff. During the induction, they were super, very attentive and caring in this new transition. We are in April now and my boy is loving it, we get all the feedback by the staff for the activities he’s doing, how he’s developing and we have 100% trust in all the staff taking care of him. Highly highly recommend!

A big thank you for all your hard work with children, you can really tell the difference between other nurseries and the general happiness and well-being of the children too. Good communication is sent to the parents by email and the app and the frequency of them is good too.
The staff are just amazing and the genuine care shown to the children is beautiful to see and immensely reassuring. The fun and variety the children have are fabulous.

I have two children at Tenderlinks Day Nursery, they walk in each day without looking back. The staff are passionate about their jobs and my children talk about them with affection. The dialogue between the management and parents is good, we get updates on the famly app so we know how long nap time was and what they are eating, as well as seeing some of the activities. The only real downside is the outdoor space is very small, but they do make the best of the space they have. They go on trips in the locality, to the library, playground, the common and local shops.

My son has started the nursery since January 2022! He has never been to nursery so this was quite a big, new chapter in his life! So I was quite particular about the nursery I wanted for my son to start. The staff have been very kind and caring. Even the day we came to look at nursery, one of the staff offered my son a cracker. They have been very welcoming. It did take my son some time to settle because nursery has been a completely new experience for him. But Tenderlinks nursery has helped him to adapt to the new change. It's such a big bonus to see pictures of the activities my son has done while at nursery during the day and for different celebrations on the nursery app! It's great that we can talk about what he has enjoyed at nursery and seeing pictures.

Hi, I’m Sonia and I am the manager at Tenderlinks Day Nursery in Streatham. I have been the manager since March 2021.
Watching a child grow and reach their potential is one of life’s greatest pleasures and knowing that I get to experience this every day gives me a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment.
With a background from Portugal, we have a strong family ethos, this always gave me opportunities to be around children and I guess in a way it was the beginning of my path into childcare.
I have been in the industry for over 19 years, working my way through various age groups and ranks, this gave me the opportunity to gaining experience, knowledge and obtain my qualifications along the way.
I started my career early in 2003 in a small setting in London, I then moved on to bigger settings where I was fortunate to be able to develop my knowledge through education. I began by gaining relevant qualifications which included my NVQ’s in childcare as well as being able to go to university where I was awarded my BA Hons degree in teaching and learning.
To be given the opportunity of becoming Tenderlinks manager is a pleasure, alongside my team we aim to provide a secure and stimulating environment, with the feal of a home from home. We follow the children’s interests and feed their curious minds through various approaches. We aim to give them the best start to their development as well as their learning journey.
