LEYF - Brixton Garden Nursery & Pre-school (formerly Little Angel Nursery School)

My daughter recently started attending there, the staff makes this big step easy for us. The team is nurturing and attentive to the needs of my child, I know she has lots of fun there and cuddles. I feel reassured leaving my daughter at the nursery.

We absolutely love Brixton Nursery. Our son has been attending from 13 months, and he loves it! The staff are brilliant, and they do so many fun activities, including trips to the park, indoor play areas and the local market! The nursery has such a lovely feel to it, which is down to the staff’s genuine enthusiasm, and they clearly truly care about all the children - we couldn’t be happier.

We are delighted our now nearly two-year-old will continue at this nursery.

Amazing, caring and lovely staff! Lots of variety in children’s journey and great ideas to help children to learn by playing. The management is also grateful and available. Food is healthy and tasty!

My son has been attending the nursery for 7 months now and he is progressing well for his age. His communication is coming along nicely and he uses signs at home when he communicates with me to.

My son is allowed to go into the toddler room which is great as this will allow his settling-in period to be smooth rubbing.

I'm extremely happy with this nursery. The staff have a friendly, caring approach and I 100% trust them. The daily activities help to develop my daughter's learning as well as lots of free playtime. My daughter enjoys her time there a lot. Thank you!

Fantastic nursery. It's a shame that the rec centre no longer allows proper access to the balcony for outdoor time, but I don't think the nursery is to blame. Apart from that, everything is great. The staff are all particularly wonderful.

Our two children attended Brixton LEYF Nursery at the early ages of 1 year old and right up to graduation day, before they headed off to primary school. Our son now 8 years old has great fond memories of nursery and the great bonds he made with his teachers and friends, which he's still in contact with. Likewise, our daughter, now 4 years old and has recently graduated this summer 2022 and is in primary school reception. She's had a fantastic happy, learning and playing experience at Brixton LEYF nursery and made great friends along the way. They both have been thriving ever since and that's thanks to all the nurture, dedication, interest in their wellbeing and warmth they received from all their teachers, including managers and chefs, over the years. As new parents, we took the chance and gut feeling with Brixton LEYF nursery and we are ever so grateful and satisfied with our children's well-being and enthusiasm for learning - especially in a happy environment. Brixton LEYF is just fantastic!

Amazing team that truly cares about each child and puts love and effort into looking after them. Loved seeing this team at work and would highly recommend it to parents who are seeking a great place to have their children grow, learn and be nourished in a very positive and warm space!

I have had 3 children at nursery. Ages now 14, 5 and 3. Staff are still present who looked after my 14 yr old. I love this nursery. It is very warm, cosy and welcoming. My children have entered reception being quite advanced. The children have always been happy to go to nursery and never want to leave. My 3 yr old is now on holiday and he can't wait to go back.

I cannot speak higher of the place. The Manager and room leaders absolutely top-notch!

My son started as a baby and has grown to become a happy confident kind and caring 3 years on a boy. The staff have been extremely caring, committed to teaching, and the environment has been a home away from home. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Fantastic, lovely team! They created a very personal, real bond with our child and us for that matter. Always going out of their way to make sure the kids are looked after and they clearly appreciate it as much as we parents do.

We are so happy to see our son thrive at Brixton nursery! He’s been attending for several months now and it’s a joy to see his smile as he enters the nursery room every day. In a short amount of time, we’ve seen him develop in an amazing way. He is so happy, he loves the teachers who take such good care of him! All staff are always very friendly, happy to share what the kids have done and how they’re evolving. We’re very happy with the choice of nursery for sure!

My child has been attending for just over a year and is extremely happy. He has made wonderful progress and adores his teachers and friends. My son has attended Brixton Leyf Nursery since he was one and now, two years later, he still runs into nursery with glee every day without fail. The Brixton team are incredibly warm, careful, sensitive and thoughtful and I know that he feels safe and secure. Everyone has taken the time to get to know him as an individual and it is clear that they understand what makes him tick, how to encourage him to learn and participate in all their imaginative activities and also when he just needs a cuddle. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My daughter has attended this nursery for the last 2 and a half years, and my son for almost 2 years. Both of them absolutely adore the staff, and as parents, we cannot fault the childcare provision! I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone considering it.

As a first time mum, I was sad to go back to work, but it has been amazing knowing that our daughter is so happy and so well cared for. She has learned so much in such a short space of time, and we are so grateful to all the teachers for being so wonderful with her.

The core staff members are really dedicated and haven't changed over the years. I feel that they have (and are still) providing a nurturing environment where kids like to go and where they establish strong friendship bonds between themselves. Two years on, and some of our daughter's closest friends are the ones that she met in the nursery.
