Our son recently began attending Little People of Fulham, and we are already very impressed with the caring atmosphere and outstanding staff. In line with the saying, "It takes a village" Little People Fulham is a small community promoting happiness, education, and development.
The inviting environment
eased our concerns, and the dedicated staff has been instrumental in our son's early progress in reaching developmental milestones. In addition, the team communicates openly with parents, ensuring we stay updated on our child's growth.

My child was very happy at Little People of Fulham and learnt a lot. The staff have always been so helpful, smiling and super professional. The only thing we were not happy about was the way the heat wave was handled as we were asked to pick up our kids at the hottest moment of the journey, which we
never really understood, and when we emailed their management, we never got any answer.
Thanks for helping her spend some of her, most important, years in such a safe and caring environment.

Our boy arrives at nursery every morning literally kicking his legs with excitement and shrieking with joy as we carry him through the front gate! He lurches into his key worker's arms every morning and doesn't even look back as we walk out of the door. We cannot believe how much he has learnt and how
he has grown over this last term with you all.


In August, we dropped off a little boy still using a dummy, so small and sensitive, who didn't like loud noises and needed lots of one on one time. We are now inundated with photos of him gallivanting around the garden, banging on drums, going wild in the ball pit, playing happily and independently and even feeding himself his own lunch. We are blown away by the love and care that he receives every day at school.

Our son who is now almost two years old has attended Little People of Fulham since he was only seven months old. The lovely staff in the baby room were able to soothe him to sleep even though he used to fall asleep while breastfeeding at home. I was also able to give the nursery bottles with pumped
breast milk which was very important to me. He loves all his teachers which are caring, loving and attentive and he goes to nursery every morning with a big smile.
I can't recommend them enough

We would like to thank Little People of Fulham hugely for our time with them, both our children have thrived in the environment there and it is with a heavy heart that our time has now come to an end. The staff have all been incredibly supportive and in particular the Manager and her team who have played
pivotal roles in our children's time with them so we would like to extend extremely warm praise to them all and are very grateful for everything during all the good times and in particular the difficult ones!


We will miss the nursery greatly but will continue to recommend them to our friends as they have been wonderful and constant for us over the past five years or so and have always gone above and beyond the call of duty in all circumstances.

Our son has attended Little People of Fulham since he was 1 year old. He is now 3 and we could not be happier with his development and the care he has received since the very first day. As a parent, I think we all value peace of mind and that is exactly what we have found at Little People: we leave
our son with complete peace of mind because we know he is as happy as he can be, well-fed and educated. What else can you ask for? Probably the fact that a) there are not many changes in staff and b) the communication between practitioners/teachers and parents is very good, at least in our experience.

My son has been attending this nursery full-time since Feb. He had a break with Covid and went back again in August and I cannot express how happy I am to have him attend. The care is exceptional. No other words can describe it. I could not recommend it highly enough.

Little People have been very supportive in this very challenging year. My daughter felt very happy with the various activities and support from the staff. The Montessori group has introduced fun phonics and math learning, help the children to start practicing writing, prepare for reception.

Such a fantastic nursery. Our son has attended Little People of Fulham for almost four years and has just left for big school, our daughter will continue there for another 2 years. I have nothing but praise for this nursery, all aspects of the childcare are fantastic, the staff are warm and friendly
and provide a loving environment for the children. The activities and lessons (following the Montessori learning principles) are engaging and the children rave about the science experiments, or painting, or gardening activities that they have participated in during the day. And the food is fantastic, with on-site kitchen preparation. The nursery builds a positive community engagement with Christmas plays and other activities during the year that parents are included in. I would recommend Little People nurseries very enthusiastically to any parent who is looking for a great environment for their children.

I have been sending my two-year-old daughter to Little People of Fulham for nearly a year - my wife and I could not be more pleased with the nursery. They have exceptional staff who work tirelessly and with great aptitude to afford children highly educational, constructive, and individually-tailored
care. Little People approach of personalized attention while providing a free (but structured) learning environment has been validated by the significant growth in my daughter's development, confidence, and ability to communicate. More importantly, she very much looks forward to going "to school" and seeing her "best" friends on staff - it has very much become her home away from home.
Aside from the practitioners themselves who interface with the children, a real bright spot for me has been the professionalism and responsiveness of the administrative team, namely the Nursery Manager. She has truly been a joy to work with; her leadership during COVID was a masterclass in crisis mgt.

Little people is a great nursery. I had 2 kids there from when they were babies until they went to school (one is still there). My daughter has attended the nursery from September 2019 until March 2020. I have been nothing but very satisfied with the service provided by Little People of Fulham.
My little girl was always very happy to go to nursery in the morning and not once dragged her feet. It took her a bit of time to settle
in, but very soon I would hear all bout her friends and her teachers, especially two of them. A huge thank you to all the staff. I was always at ease knowing my child was safe and having a good time.
I really liked the online access where I could see pictures and comments on meals and activities. A big plus for us was the swimming lessons, my little girl was thrilled about it.
Also worth adding for any of my queries, the manager was always very reactive.

Amazing Nursery! I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. My son, who is now 2.5 years old, has been going since he is 6-months (full time) and my daughter, who is now 15-months, has been going since she is 8-months. The staff are very kind. The children learn a lot and have many different activities
every day. They also go out to the garden daily. There is also good communication with the parent's, thanks to an app where the staff posts pictures and information on the children’s day.

Little People of Fulham is an a-ma-zing nursery. Out of the one I visited in the neighbourhood 4 years ago for my first daughter it was the one where I felt the most love for the children. The team is great! Very engaging and nice with the kids. My 2 daughters are there now and I feel very good when

Exceptional nursery - they do so much with the children. They have extensive activities for the children and teach them so much at every age. In Montessori, prior to lockdown, they did lots of activities at the nursery (yoga, pilates, ballet) and also swimming, going to the local park and going to local
museums, etc. Since lockdown, they have maintained the activities at the nursery, which keep the children engaged. Management were also very supportive of parents, children and staff during lockdown. The staff are very well-trained and give very detailed feedback on how your child is developing. Every week you get a summary of what the children will be learning the following week and in Montesorri, the children learn literacy, maths, science and arts. My daughter was a bit shy when she joined and they developed a plan for her and within a few weeks, she blossomed into a very confident little girl. She loved the nursery and was very sad to leave. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

I was anxious for my son to start nursery at 10 months, settling in was made easy with the staff help, he was super happy started with 3 days and we gradually got to a full week schedule. Thanks to the amazingly supportive and super welcoming staff, communication is very easy and transparent with them,
I knew how my son was spending his days even post COVID through the app! He loved it so much and we as parents loved it too it was his second home! The manager and 2 other staff members, in particular, are amazing! Unfortunately and with a sad heart, he will be leaving Little people due to moving houses and distance! I recommend it for every family! Don't think twice!

Alison

Alison Truss

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 1997

Having always wanted to work with children from a young age, Alison’s dream was to nanny and live in America which she did when she was 21. She has an NNEB diploma in nursery nursing and has worked in different nurseries throughout the years, finally coming to work at Little People in 1997.


Alison started as a nursery nurse and made her way up to be the manager at Little People Fulham in 2002. Alison is well travelled and passionate about different cultures and recognises children as unique individuals. She lives in Hampton and has a teenage son.


“I connect with children and feel a great sense of accomplishment in helping them achieve and enjoy their time at nursery. Working with children gives me so much joy and happiness and I love nothing more than getting messy with malleable activities.”
