Gumboots Nursery & Pre-School

The nursery is excellent and the level of care is fantastic. My son is extremely happy there and I would recommend it

The staff are really caring and welcoming. The nursery is flexible and accommodating when unexpected changes occur such as needing an extra day. Both my children are very happy at nursery.

My daughter loves Gumboots, the staff and facilities are excellent. The food and activities are great.

Gumboots Nursery in East Dulwich is well run, welcoming and the staff are skilled and thoughtful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other parents.

From administration to daily hugs on arrival, (for my daughter not me!) Gumboots excel at every level. No request is too big or small and response times on emails super quick, which has not been the experience at other nurseries. This, coupled to the bright colourful space means that every day I leave my daughter there, I drop her off in the confidence she is with true professionals, who not only do a great job but have fun doing it. A few tears have been shed now and again, but I try to do it once I have left the building. Bravo!

So happy that I managed to get my son into Gumboots. He has been since he was a baby and is now in the 2-3yrs room. He is so happy there, always talking about his favourite staff members and all the fun he’s been up to in the ‘big garden’.

Gumboots provides a safe and caring environment for our daughter to have fun and learn with her friends. She has blossomed since going to Gumboots. The team are fantastic and always great at updating us with her progress. I would highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery is exceptional. Wholly focused on the holistic needs of each child, children thrive in this wonderfully caring, play based learning environment. Its quality sings to you everyday. As a parent, you couldn’t wish for better.

We feel extremely lucky to be able to send both of our daughters to Gumboots Community Nursery. Our eldest has now been attending for three years and we have been consistently amazed by the quality of both the nursery itself and more importantly, the wonderful staff who work there. Choosing a nursery was a big decision and sending our children to any nursery would have been a major transition for them - fortunately, the team at Gumboots are incredibly adept at assisting children during these moments of change, and our eldest in particular now adores meeting her friends at nursery. We could not recommend Gumboots more highly.

Gumboots provides a relaxed, warm, caring and stimulating environment for the children it cares for. My son loves his days there. Another huge plus for me (as a professional nutrtitionist) is that the food is all prepared on site and is diverse and nutritious. I'd highly recommend this nursery to any parent or carer.

Our son has attended Gumboots for nearly 3 years. The staff are fantastic and have really brought him out of his shell and the facilities are great - he loves the big garden.

Fantastic all round quality of childcare. Children are well looked after with a diverse and ever-changing list of activities and outings for them to partake in. Parents are well informed of the child's well-being and progress with any behavioural or developmental concerns brought to their attention. Would highly recommend to a friend.

Excellent care of children. Staff show a real interest in the development of all children and build bespoke plans for each child around what their key interests are. We have always been very happy with the way our son has progressed at the nursery and how content he seems to be there

My daughter loves going to nursery. She always gets a warm welcome in the morning and she genuinely loves the nursery staff. They provide a fun, caring and secure environment where the children are encouraged to learn about the world through play and creativity. They have a great garden where the children can play and discover more about nature.

The outside space is fabulous and I would happily recommend it to other parents.

I could not wish for nicer, more loving staff. They go out of their way to make both me and my children to feel welcome. Happy children = happy parents!

The food is healthy and I can’t fault the staff - who are also fantastically supportive and flexible.
